The Franziskanerstuben restaurant in Bolzano is highly recommended. The staff is very kind, friendly, and attentive; you immediately feel welcome and well taken care of. The food was delicious, the prices perfectly reasonable, and the atmosphere pleasant and cozy. A restaurant where you simply feel at ease and want to linger. Surprisingly rare these days: friendly service, good food, and fair prices all at once. It's not exactly magic, but the restaurant industry treats it like a dying art form these days.

We ate at this restaurant twice during our stay in Bolzano. The staff is friendly, polite, and always serves with a smile. A big compliment to the kitchen; whether it was Wiener Schnitzel, salmon with asparagus, or Schlutzkrapfen, everything was delicious. We will definitely visit this restaurant again on our next trip to Bolzano.

We went there alone and also with friends. The food was always wonderful! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. Since we were there several times, we had the roast beef, salmon fillet, and sea bream. Everything was superb! Served piping hot, no long wait, and the desserts were great too. We enjoyed going there and would definitely come back.

We stopped in on a whim because the restaurant looked really inviting and the menu sounded good! Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the service! I asked for a plate to eat the delicious bread with oil and salt, and I got the first eye roll. When I asked if the lingonberries were served separately with the schnitzel, I got a groan and more eye-rolling, and it continued like this! We wanted two more beers; we had ordered a "naturally cloudy" beer, but a "light" beer arrived, and again, we received a rather rude response when we asked for the correct beer. The goulash was good, the roast beef was quite firm, the sea bream had a lot of bones, and the Wiener Schnitzel was also rather tough! We definitely won't be coming back and hope it was just a bad day!

Top restaurant in the center of Bolzano I went with my partner and we had a great time! Excellent welcome and delicious food, especially the lamb chops! I highly recommend it.

We were recommended to go here by our hotel front desk, and it did not disappoint. We had delicious steak, and salmon with asparagus, along with a yummy caprese salad. For dessert we had the black cherry semi freddo, it was sublime. The indoor surroundings were charming, and the service was top notch. Highly recommend!
