Special dinner in a spectacular place. A heartfelt thank you to the landlady Nives and her father who showed extraordinary availability in solving a problem with our car.

A unique place with an amazing view of the Sasslong. Excellent cuisine and always courteous and attentive service. Good wine list. Family run by true hospitality professionals.

Came here for dinner so can't comment on the rooms/hotel part but the little tour that I took seemed promising. Location is absolutely beautiful, albeit remote so expect quite the drive. Interior is traditional with a modern spin- very beautiful and makes for a great ambience. Service was amazing, expect coat service, free greeting from the kitchen etc. Very attentive, although a few of our orders got mixed up. Food is beautifully presented and the options are far from ordinary. We ordered many to share, some looked better than they tasted to be honest. What surprised were the vegan options that weren't advertised explicitly online- a full page seperate menu that was quite good. Even the greeting from the kitchen came as seperate vegan. A rare gem in this region. Portions rather small. But overall: big recommendation!

What can we say if not being in paradise?? Very beautiful and 360 degree enveloping location.. chalet renovated with taste and style. We stopped for lunch and waited about 15 minutes as it was very popular. The wait was rewarded with a splendid table with a panoramic view inside. Refined and tasty food with a connection to tradition and places, all accompanied by the kindness and courtesy of the staff. Excellent experience to repeat soon. Thanks 🙏

Fantastic dinner. The location is remote but unique and worth the drive. Food was excellent - dumplings, risotto, gnocchi mushrooms and pork salad - were great starters. Main courses were very good too. Great wine selection. Orange ice cream dessert was delicious.

My husband and I stopped for lunch, I ate some truly excellent ravioli with truffle sauce, my husband a very tender paillard with a side of vegetables. The location is in a privileged position with a unique panorama; the very kind and professional staff, the impeccable service. Highly recommended

Passa il tempo, ma alcune certezze rimangono. E Gerard è una di queste. Ho ricordi di questo chalet ormai da decenni, quando ancora era un posto semplice dove fermarsi a mangiare un'ottima fetta di strudel sulla strada di Passo Gardena. Oggi è diventato un albergo ristorante raffinato, in una posizione che garantisce una vista magnifica, una buona cucina e un servizio curato. Certo, l'affollamento lo rende diverso da un tempo, ma ciò non impedisce a chi riesce a impossessarsi di un tavolo, magari con un po' di pazienza, di apprezzare piatti della tradizione, come i taglieri di affettati e formaggi e la zuppa di cipolle, o più ricercati, come la nuvola di riso nero. Tenendo un po' di spazio per lo strudel, che è ancora di ottimo livello. Prezzi ragionevoli, ambiente gradevole, personale all'altezza: da provare.
