There are many beautiful places in the world, but for over 40 years, Chalet Gerard has been my absolute dream destination!!! 😍 It's always like "coming home"—everything is just perfect here! A quick stop for some strudel is a must, and staying overnight in the beautiful rooms with delicious food is simply divine! Beautiful house, great restaurant but unfortunately completely overpriced. Nice location but extremely remote. The price/performance ratio is terrible. Two 0.3-liter wheat beers, a soup, three dumplings, and two Jagertee (a type of spiced tea) cost €60 – far too expensive! €40 would have been a maximum.

Very good place, but the portions of the main course, "pork belly," and the appetizer, "deer saddle," were too small for the price. It's a nice place, the waiters are helpful, etc., but if you end up with a small plate and still spend a lot, it all falls apart. I don't think I'll be back.

15/03/2026: I can only comment on the food, as we only had pizza. The service was very helpful and friendly, and the prices were quite reasonable. Parking is limited and hard to find; it's best to walk. As for the pizza itself – simply fantastic – everything was delicious and fresh.
15/03/2026: Going out to eat with a group of 36 people is quite something. For the staff here, it was no problem. Fantastic food, cheerful staff, and lots of fun.
