07/04/2026: Excellent location, friendly and very attentive to customer needs
07/04/2026: Friendly staff, clean hotel, stylish reception and restaurant, and plenty of parking.
The rooms are classically furnished, but ours was very large and bright at approximately 30 square meters (with blinds on all windows). There was a balcony, but in my opinion, it only had basic seating – with a lake view, more comfortable loungers would have been nice. The room was equipped with a desk, TV, sofa, small table, mirror, wardrobe in the hallway, and coat rack. The mini-fridge was great, but only usable with an extension cord (provided by reception).
The room was very noisy, and cracks were already visible on some of the walls. The bathroom seemed rather rustic to me, with chips in the shower and insufficient storage space – I personally would have liked more storage. The hairdryer was good.
The Wi-Fi was very inconsistent – sometimes good, sometimes not at all, depending on the time of day and location. The elevator got stuck during our stay, so we didn't use it again.
The lakeside location is unique, in my opinion, but I found the traffic noise quite noticeable. The hotel is very remote for me personally – everything is only accessible by car, bike, or a long walk. In my opinion, the bus service is poor to nonexistent, and the train is currently operating on a replacement bus service.
Dinner starting at 7 pm is a bit late in my opinion, but the food was very tasty. Salad and soup were self-service, and I personally found the portions of the main courses rather small 🫢
The gym is small but nice. I personally missed having towels, disinfectant wipes, and initially, soap. After pointing this out, soap and a disinfectant dispenser were added, but nothing for cleaning the equipment.
The spa, sauna, and pool area are very nice, as is the relaxation area. Drinks are available, but the selection is limited for my taste (e.g., only one type of tea, no fruit/nuts). There is only one towel per person – in my opinion, not enough. The loungers by the pool seem a bit old-fashioned to me. An outdoor terrace and additional loungers (including some for lying flat) would be desirable. An outdoor shower by the whirlpool is also missing, in my opinion.
The towels in the room were very stiff for our liking. Access to the lawn was a bit inconvenient (via the spa; direct access upstairs was locked).
Breakfast was okay in my opinion, but could be improved: mainly wheat rolls, some dry whole-wheat rolls, rusks, no rye bread, no cream cheese spreads, and no fresh whole-wheat bread. We personally missed milk alternatives (soy/oat) and vegan options, as well as fruit. Sausages, eggs, and some vegetables were available. The hot chocolate from the machine didn't taste very good to me.
In conclusion: For us, a pleasant 3-star hotel with a great location on the lake. We particularly enjoyed the dinner, the spa/relaxation area, and the view of the lake 🤗
In my opinion, it's good for 1-2 nights or as a stopover. For longer stays, it's unfortunately a bit impractical, as it's difficult to reach much without a car.
