We often stop at this rustic alpine hut during our hikes in the Salten region. The food and drinks are very good and relatively inexpensive. Just sitting there and relaxing with a cold drink is a little treat. We always enjoy coming back.

Whether in October or May: the Gschofnerstall Alm is always worth a visit. The food and drinks are excellent. I learned today that you can even recharge your e-bike during your break – you just need to bring the charger.

24/12/2025: A charming and very well-kept place. The staff was professional and very kind. We ate a wonderful meat tartar, unfortunately I didn't take a photo because I was so eager to eat it, freshly prepared at the table! What a spectacle. We continued with two first courses, both exceptional in presentation and flavor, and a meat-based second course, also formidable. A top-notch restaurant. Whether for a romantic dinner or enjoying a dinner with friends. I always recommend calling and making a reservation; it's usually very busy.
07/12/2025: Excellent service, excellent pizza. Nice place, quiet even when busy. Reservations are highly recommended.
