A farmhouse with a panoramic view and a restaurant serving quality ingredients. A casual yet elegant place. Service was poor and inattentive, with a rushed, hurried attitude. They didn't offer much explanation or advice on what to order or what to order. They only served one wine by the glass, the winery, the provenance, or anything else unknown, only Cabernet. Beer wasn't even mentioned, but it was on tap or perhaps bottled. At the end of the meal, we were hoping they'd explain some sweets or desserts or grappas or something else, but they took our dishes away. Without a word, and after a 5-minute wait, we got up and went to pay, having lost our appetite. It doesn't take much to make a dinner unforgettable, for better or worse. A restaurant should never ignore its customers or rush them, or anything like that. It still deserves 3 stars for the quality of the ingredients and the location.

Located in a beautiful valley, this is a top-notch agriturismo. The staff is friendly and attentive. The cuisine is excellent, using quality ingredients from typical South Tyrolean cuisine. The owner, Mrs. Siglinde, is very kind. Excellent value for money.

Excellent restaurant with a spectacular view, ample parking, and one of the best value restaurants in the area. Generous portions and excellent, fresh, and carefully prepared food. It's a must-visit.

Excellent agriturismo, fantastic dumplings and truly tender and tasty meat, good service... all at a fair price!... it enjoys a wonderful view and can also be reached by car.

Hotel Sonnenheim

12/04/2026: There's no other description than paradise on earth 😉 We were so happy to be guests of the family-run Hotel Sonnenheim for the second time now, and we were simply blown away. The hotel is incredibly beautiful and lovingly furnished. There's a huge sauna and relaxation area, a hotel-owned underground parking garage with truly spacious parking spaces, an indoor pool, and a small gym. The staff consists of a small and select team, characterized by their truly exceptional service. Even members of the Plank family (the family that runs the hotel) help out, which is simply fascinating. You can also taste the love that goes into the entire hotel in the food. Breakfast features a large buffet with fresh rolls from the bakery. Dinner consists of an impressive five courses, each one a true delight. It must also be said that the hotel is perfectly located. Due to its slightly exposed position, it enjoys plenty of sunshine. Furthermore, there is a bus stop just 100 meters away, with a line that goes directly to the center of Merano in 20 minutes. The surrounding forests and mountains (Texel Group, Ilfing) also offer excellent hiking opportunities. The Merano 2000 ski area is also very close. In addition, the hotel's value for money is unbeatable and probably unmatched. We would love to come back and look forward to spending more time in one of the most beautiful places imaginable.
09/04/2026: A truly wonderful hotel where we've now spent our second family vacation. It's in a fantastic location for the Merano 2000 hiking area, with a bus stop right outside. The service is incredibly friendly and helpful, and there's a superb spa area with saunas, a steam room, a swimming pool, and more. You can really relax and unwind while enjoying the stunning views. The only downside: there are rarely, if ever, vegetarian or vegan options available at dinner. While they always catered to our dietary needs, which is great, I would have appreciated being able to choose them in advance. Nevertheless, it's simply a lovely place and definitely recommended!

13/04/2026: If you're looking for peace and quiet and a hotel with excellent cuisine, this is the place for you. After a peaceful night, the birds sing the dawn, followed by a delicious breakfast buffet prepared with meticulous attention to detail, leaving nothing to be desired. In the evening, you can enjoy being a guest in this cozy and relaxed hotel, savoring a superb meal and impeccable wine service.
31/12/2025: Impeccable family management, kind and professional. The lady is truly kind. The property has beautiful rooms, a small, well-equipped wellness center, and the cuisine is very well-prepared, with excellent dishes. You feel at home. I've been there in the winter, but I think it's even better in the summer, thanks to a beautiful garden with a pool. After staying there for two years, I think I can safely say that the excellent value for money will bring me back often.
