The food was great, from Schlutzkrapfen (filled pasta) to schnitzel. A few cranberries on the schnitzel would have made it perfect.

We dined at this restaurant over the May 1st weekend.
There are two seatings in the evening; we booked for the second, which started at 8:30 PM, and you must order by 9 PM.
The decor is beautiful and in keeping with the restaurant's style.
The prices are reasonable.
The food was very good; we tried the dumplings, goulash, tagliatelle, and ravioli. For dessert, the apple fritters (pictured) were delicious.

I ate here for lunch. It's a restaurant located right in the center of San Candido with excellent food. I had the egg with potatoes and bacon, and it was truly delicious. The price was reasonable for the food and the location, and I can't recommend it enough. There are outdoor tables, perfect for enjoying the nice weather this time of year.
Quiet and welcoming atmosphere. All the food was good, but I expected more from the mixed grill (lots of chicken and small pieces of beef). The desserts ended on a high note, with excellent Mozart dumplings.
Good food, just passable service, the waiter with wings tattooed on his neck asked if he needed to change the cutlery from the first course that we had placed in the center of the plate to be changed. The place is of a certain class, the price is fair.

Some friends of mine who live nearby highly recommended this place, so one evening after we climbed the Tre Cime, we headed here to try it. We had ham soup, not bad, tagliatelle with venison ragù, very good, and finally apple fritters, which were also really good. It's a very cute, rustic place, and reasonably priced.

We dined on a Saturday evening without a reservation and were lucky to find a table around 7:30 PM. The owner welcomed us very kindly, as did all the young waiters. We had pasta and beans, a cream of mushroom soup with potatoes, and delicious dumplings in broth. I must say that the rosticciata we ordered for our second course wasn't what we expected... It was different from the usual, dark, and with only a few potatoes... But we enjoyed it anyway. The Kaiserschmarren, or emperor's omelette, was very good. In total, we spent 153 euros.
