12/11/2025: The hotel itself and the room are very nice, spacious, and equipped with everything you need. The furnishings are quite luxurious, but some parts are also a bit dated (e.g., the mirror in the bathroom was fogged up, and the spa area in general is showing its age; some of the showers weren't working properly, and the sauna is quite old and small—it can comfortably fit about four people sitting down, but it gets cramped with more). However, other areas were very nice and more modern (e.g., the lobby, breakfast area, suites, and the lounge area in the room). The view from the spa area on the 5th floor is beautiful, both during the day and at night. The minibar in the room has something for everyone and is very reasonably priced. Although my room faced the pedestrian walkway, it was very quiet throughout. The bed was very comfortable and came with an extra pillow. Breakfast was varied, with bread, rolls, pancakes and other pastries, eggs, a rather small selection of cold cuts, various muesli options, fresh fruit and vegetables, juices, and a good selection of coffees and teas. A highlight for me was the massage with Elisabeth at the spa; a visit to her is definitely worthwhile. The reception staff were also extremely friendly and accommodating, and a late check-out was possible without any problems or extra charge. I was also able to leave my luggage at reception while I went out for lunch. All of this made my stay at the Hotel Krone a very pleasant experience, and I would highly recommend it.

18/10/2025: I can only agree with the reviews. Very friendly staff, the best pizza in a long time. Everything was perfect. Gorgonzola + extra spicy salami + garlic. And it's brought by Robi. Great.

25/08/2025: The price/performance ratio was way too high. Great, friendly staff, breakfast was typical of a 2-3 star hotel. So, not a huge selection. The location is right next to a highway, so it was very noisy when the windows were open, especially difficult in the summer months when you rely on open windows. The air conditioning didn't really work.

11/11/2025: One of the best staff i ever met in the hotels all over the world. Amazing, very big rooms with every detail perfected. Great spa with in and outdoor pool, lots of saunas and other nice things. And creme de la creme - dinner included, but not ordinary dinner, thst was perfect expirience. I will be back for 1000% absolutely love this place!

02/10/2025: I was concerned because of critical reviews but they were actually incredibly friendly and the prices seemed fair. Selection was a little smaller than other bakeries I’ve been to but I found what I wanted.

29/11/2025: A truly disastrous experience from start to finish. We sat down and waited 40 minutes just to order, despite stopping the waiters three times. The place wasn't even full, so there's no justification for such a wait. The appetizer arrived without cutlery, napkins, water, or wine. When they finally brought the wine, they even opened the wrong bottle. After another 20 minutes, seeing that our dishes hadn't arrived, we inquired: they'd completely forgotten about them, and we were even asked if we still wanted to eat them. A level of organization that to call sloppy is a compliment. The trout was cold and of terrible quality, truly unacceptable. We paid €5 for a 750ml bottle of water... thieves. The bill, then, was incredibly high considering the nonexistent service and disappointing dishes. The staff demonstrated unparalleled incompetence, from welcoming us to managing the table. You come on vacation to relax and eat well, and instead you end up having such a frustrating experience. It's truly a shame. We'll never return.

20/10/2025: A superb location with stunningly spectacular views - well worth the long zig zag walk from the road below - or you can take the ski lift in 12 minutes! This is such an incredibly wonderful, clean and welcoming venue. Excellent menu which changes on a regular basis - all of it magnificent and reasonably priced when considering the location. The fabulous goulash soup was a meal in itself and the venison was simply delicious and perfectly cooked. Superb service from very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend.

06/09/2025: A very nice hotel, attentive to detail and welcoming. The staff was kind and helpful. The main problem was the food; the buffet almost never featured typical South Tyrolean products; the menu included amatriciana and carbonara, as well as stuffed squid and prawns, which are dishes very distant from local cuisine. Dinner times were flexible (7:00 PM to 8:30 PM), but the buffet was not replenished, so those arriving after 7:15 PM, even though they paid the same as those arriving at 7:00 PM, were not entitled to the same buffet dishes as those arriving at 7:00 PM. The portions were small, and although the menu offered the option of adding a supplement if you particularly liked a dish, when we asked for seconds for three people, we were told that only one out of three people could have seconds. In short, everything was excellent; the only major flaw: the food.

30/11/2025: It's a guarantee. Every time I go to Bolzano, I absolutely must stop at this restaurant. Quality food and helpful, courteous staff.

26/10/2025: The food is good. Today (October 26, around 6:30 PM), the woman with long hair in the cash register was completely unprofessional. She didn't even show up after I paid, and instead didn't hand me my bag. She claimed to be talking to another colleague, and while I was carrying my bag through the counter, she was completely unprofessional.

25/10/2025: The food was excellent; the owner is Pakistani, so expect the dishes to be a little spicy. They have a wide variety of burgers and kebabs with halal meat—I loved it!

02/11/2025: We waited for quite some time for food. The pizza was good, but nothing special. Really good place, atmosphere and waiter.

07/09/2025: We went here in the afternoon to play bowling with the kids. The downstairs room also offers darts and billiards... perfect for an hour of fun after a hike or on a rainy day. The owner is also very kind. Recommended!
