05/10/2025: A venerable, small hotel. Family-run, very loving and friendly. Upscale, excellent cuisine. The rooms are a bit older, but definitely have charm and are very clean. The pool and wellness area are new and modern.

19/06/2026: Because we were forced to wait for our car to be repaired and were hungry, we happened to end up there. What luck! I'm speechless, considering it's a "lunch canteen" in an industrial park! We haven't had such excellent food even in the finest restaurants in Northern Italy.

08/05/2026: I only had an espresso because I had to wait for the train. I arrived by night bus. The espresso was so-so, but I guess I was spoiled since I'd just come from Bari. And in southern Italy, espresso is in a different league.

30/06/2026: I ordered a cebab pizza with sauces for home delivery, but what arrived was a dry flatbread without the ordered sauces. I also ordered three beers for the exorbitant price of €27! This will only happen once. Therefore, I cannot recommend them!

15/06/2026: The quality is so poor and disgusting. They can't even manage a delivery within Brixen in under 45 minutes.

29/06/2026: Very kind from the start. We had a train issue and had to postpone our dinner. Even though we arrived almost closing time, they were kind enough to let us eat. Everything was delicious, especially the speck, which was incredibly tender and had a truly balanced flavor. Thanks again, as soon as we return to Bolzano, we will definitely be back!

24/06/2026: The food at this absolute scam of a restaurant is an utter joke they have the audacity to charge fine dining, highway robbery prices for literal garbage that tastes like it was scraped out of a dumpster and shoved into a broken microwave. Every single dish that crawled out of that kitchen was a greasy, unseasoned disaster, completely swimming in cheap oil and served. Paying that astronomical bill felt like getting mugged in broad daylight, and honestly, eating a handful of not tasty from the sidewalk would have been a more appetizing and financially responsible choice than throwing money at this culinary crime scene.

08/03/2026: Breakfast on Sunday, March 8, 2026, around 10:00 a.m.: There were no menus on the tables outside. When I asked, I was told they would be brought shortly. After more than 10 minutes, I decided to go into the bar myself, get a pastry, and eat it at home. Extremely slow and inefficient service. Given the exorbitant prices in South Tyrol, as a paying customer, I expect top-notch service; otherwise, I should look for alternatives.

11/04/2026: We stayed two nights with two children, following a tour of Otzi, the ice mummy. What can I say? Top-notch hospitality, family-run. Rich breakfast buffet featuring local produce. Truly top-notch cuisine at a fair price, featuring excellent quality grilled meats, aged and grilled beautifully. Rooms aren't new, but they've been renovated, clean, and equipped with everything you need. The north side is very quiet, while the south side faces the busy road. Outdoor pool is currently being renovated. A few kilometers from Merano and the Schnalstal Valley. I've never tasted such delicious homemade dumplings; the cherry on top was homemade in alcohol. :) Thank you for your hospitality and congratulations on your commitment.

01/07/2026: On a sweltering summer day, this is a truly charming place to relax and unwind. Located a bit off the beaten path, we only discovered it through a recommendation from our landlady – hence, it wasn't crowded. The name "Icebar" is somewhat misleading, as the selection of ice cream and sundaes is quite limited. There were only two sundaes and five flavors of ice cream – but at least they had proper whipped cream. However, they offer a wide variety of drinks for every occasion. The staff was quick, friendly, and helpful – perfect. We were a little disappointed that, with temperatures over 30°C, they didn't consider opening the parasols over the lovely seating areas by the water – understandably, no one sat there then. The concept of using wooden plaques with QR codes to download the menu to your phone might be trendy, but it should be reconsidered. Due to the worn printed code, it took several attempts to open the menu at all—a real menu is a real menu. Otherwise, it's a nice place to take a break with a good drink or a scoop of ice cream with whipped cream.

19/06/2026: Nice setting and good drinks. Unfortunately, the gentleman wasn't very welcoming, unlike the young people who were very kind. We asked the gentleman what drinks they served because we didn't want the usual spritz; the question was asked because there were no menus at the table. The gentleman arrogantly placed the menu on our table and, turning around as he went back inside, shouted, "But how can I list the drinks? We're a bar, you know how many drinks we serve!" I wonder: was it difficult to give us the menu without unnecessary comments? Or at least leave the menus on each table.

17/06/2026: This isn't "my" hotel. If I have to do everything myself, from check-in to making my breakfast egg, then I might as well stay home. I'm paying for service!

16/06/2026: We were just passing through. The room was okay, small, and clean, but too warm. Unfortunately, the price wasn't right for our room. It's good that there's a restaurant in the building, so you don't have to look far for food. Parking is available right at the hotel. The online check-in was excellent; everything worked perfectly.
