15/03/2025: For the offer they are definitely expensive, especially the jugs of tap water at €2.50 are a bit of a steal, but overall I know the food is good and the place is nice. A little more attention to certain little things would be appreciated though 😉

22/03/2025: Family-run hotel, friendly welcome. Spacious and clean rooms. Strategic location with the possibility of using public transport by train/bus and also reaching the center of Brunico on foot. Good dinner with traditional dishes. I stayed with a large group. Domenico - Cai Concorezzo

20/03/2025: Out of the facilities Owners who are too small with arms instead of walking around the room look at what you eat at breakfast dispenser with empty juices in the hope of saving too much money to become hoteliers in the evening at 10.30pm they send you off to bed because they have to go to sleep They are quicker to go out of business.

21/07/2025: It's difficult to rate a Dolomite campsite in the Bolzano region: they're always full, too large, and more oriented toward "holiday resorts." But this campsite is ideal for the itinerant traveler. Located on a large field on the side of a mountain, it doesn't have defined pitches, and it's difficult to find a flat space of just a few square meters to pitch a tent. It's expensive for the services it offers, but compared to the other campsites in the area, it offers the best value.

19/07/2025: I was on a bikepacking tour. From Innsbruck to Varna, about 95 km. Lake Vahrn was my first stop. I arrived without a reservation. There was a meadow for bikepackers, and I immediately felt at home there. Then I had a warm shower, let my clothes dry by the garden fence, and there was a cozy "beer garden" where I could eat really good shepherd's noodles. I'm grateful that there are still such easy, uncomplicated places for us bikepackers. I highly recommend this spot. The manager there is very nice and attentive.

20/04/2025: Nice bistro at the Meran thermal baths! There is a large outdoor area under umbrellas and also indoor seating. You can get smaller dishes, all kinds of drinks and also cakes. Once you have noticed the service, the operation works properly.

18/04/2025: You are sent away at 4:40 p.m. if you “just” want something to drink. Bad service and very unfriendly! Then somewhere else...

01/03/2025: Rifugio Strepitoso ! Accogliente , curato in ogni minimo particolare . Siamo stati lì per cena , un atmosfera indescrivibile ! Per non parlare del cibo …… tutto veramente buono. Dalla carne al pesce hai primi! Direi che non c’è nulla da aggiungere ….. se non un consiglio , se andate a Corvara , andate a trascorrere una serata qui !

29/01/2025: Bellissimo posto, terrazzo molto accogliente al sole. Buona qualità del cibo (non da top, ma molto buona). Peccato non ci sia servizio ai tavoli seppur i prezzi sono come se ci fosse.

24/03/2025: I took very good goat and cow cheeses; goat salami not bad and strudel paid 18.50 completely burnt on the bottom... I came mainly for that, very bad.

13/03/2025: Was excited about the selection of products and wine; however felt betrayed by the seller who talked us into “Speck Gin” which “doesn’t taste like speck, just smoky and like the herbs speck is often cooked with.” It tasted exactly like pork and I’ve never had anything so disgusting in my life. We we asked them about this, they said it was our fault for purchasing it. This is not how good businesses that want return clients treat their customers. Very disappointing.

28/07/2025: Ich hatte das Restaurant aus meiner Kindheit in guter Erinnerung. Leider wurden wir an dem Abend sehr enttäuscht. Sowohl, dass für einen zweiten Teller (der zu spät zum teilenden Gericht kam) wurde etwas berechnet als auch der „Willkommensdrink“ der als Gast des Hotels umsonst sein sollte. Als wir das mit dem Drink anmerken wollten, wurde der Chef ausfallend und laut und hat (vermutlich!) das Getränk aus der Tasche seiner Mitarbeiterin (die den Fehler wohl gemacht hat) zahlen lassen. Die Mitarbeiter rannten rum wie aufgescheuchte Hühner, bei dem Chef und der ständigen Angst im Nacken wohl kein Wunder! Leider ein rundum katastrophaler Abend! Essen war ok! Große Portionen, allerdings keine besonders gute Qualität. ✌🏻

26/07/2025: Wir hatten den Ruster Biergarten eigentlich in schöner Erinnerung – mein Mann war früher schon mit seinen Eltern hier, wir waren mehrfach mit unseren Kindern da, und diesmal wollten unsere inzwischen erwachsenen Kinder ein weiteres Mal gemeinsam dort essen. Der Anlass war der 60. Geburtstag meines Mannes Leider wurde der Abend eine große Enttäuschung. Das Essen war bestenfalls durchschnittlich – eher Masse statt Klasse. Das Personal wirkte durchweg hektisch und angespannt, was wohl auch mit dem äußerst unfreundlichen Chef zusammenhängt. Es entstand der Eindruck, dass das Team regelrecht Angst vor ihm hat. Ein kleiner, aber bezeichnender Punkt: Für einen zweiten Teller zum Teilen einer Vorspeise wurden 1,50 € berechnet – mit der Begründung, dass es kein Gedeck gibt. Das mag formell stimmen, aber in Lokalen, die ein Gedeck berechnen, bekommt man dafür üblicherweise einen Brotkorb mit Öl oder Butter – hier gibt es nichts dergleichen. Auf der Rechnung war zudem ein kleiner Fehler. Als wir höflich um Korrektur baten, hatte man das Gefühl, dass die sehr freundliche junge Bedienung den Fehler aus eigener Tasche begleichen musste – was uns sehr unangenehm war. Als wir schließlich das Gespräch mit dem Chef suchten, wollte er erst gar nicht zu uns kommen. Auf unser Bestehen hin erschien er doch – jedoch ausfallend, respektlos und in einem Ton, der völlig unangebracht war. Wörtlich sagte er: „Dann schreiben Sie doch eine Bewertung!“ Dieser Satz spricht für sich – Gästezufriedenheit scheint hier keine Rolle zu spielen. Offenbar verlässt man sich auf täglich neue Kundschaft. Sehr schade – ein Ort, den wir einst mochten, hat sich für uns leider komplett verändert. Wir werden nicht wiederkommen – und können es auch niemandem mit gutem Gewissen empfehlen.

03/07/2025: In terms of food quality, it's a McDonald's, there's nothing to complain about. You go there, you know what you want, and you get what you want. Efficient. As for the welcome and service, however, frankly, there's something to complain about. My friend and I had just spent a grueling day on our bikes (we were coming from Ried im Oberinntal, 160km before!) and we were both out of battery, injured, and simply looking for some peace and quiet and something to charge. The staff's vehemence when we tried to park our bikes inside was beyond compare, even though there were scooters parked haphazardly upstairs. Because of you, we had to sleep at Marius's (the nudist, Diogenes syndrome supplement). Embarrassing.

03/07/2025: I waited 30 minutes for my food and for it to be called "fast food" it was slow. I could have gone to a restaurant and gotten the food quicker and the quality would have been better. And the food was cold.

27/04/2025: Ottimo pranzo!! Ristorante tipico in una Dobbiaco sempre bellissima. Consigliato! Pranzato con cane al seguito, gentilissimi.

08/06/2025: Kellner nahm nach 15 Minuten endlich die Bestellung auf und bediente dann nach uns gekommene Gäste zuerst. Es war nicht viel los, so daß der besagte Kellner noch Zeit hatte durch die Reihen zu stolzieren, ohne sich um unsere Bestellung zu kümmern. Nach insgesamt 30 Minuten Wartezeit sind wir aufgestanden und gegangen.

20/05/2025: Cumpleaños. Visitar Bolzano fue como adentrarme en un cruce mágico entre dos mundos: el italiano y el alpino. Las calles del casco antiguo, con sus fachadas medievales y balcones floridos, invitan a perderse sin rumbo, descubriendo rincones llenos de historia y tranquilidad. El mercado de frutas en Piazza delle Erbe está lleno de colores y aromas, y las cafeterías al aire libre ofrecen el ambiente perfecto para probar un buen strudel o una copa de vino local. Además, rodeada por los majestuosos Dolomitas, la ciudad ofrece vistas impresionantes en cualquier dirección. Una de las experiencias más memorables fue visitar el Museo Arqueológico del Tirol del Sur, hogar de Ötzi, el hombre de hielo. Fascinante y perfectamente presentado. Sin duda, Bolzano es un destino que combina naturaleza, cultura y buena comida. Un lugar lindo y acogedor que deja ganas de volver.

22/07/2025: The price-performance ratio is simply not right. The quality is nowhere near worth the price you pay.

18/06/2025: The value for money used to be really great, but unfortunately, it's no longer that way. The prices are simply too high for what you get, in my opinion. The food usually comes first, and the drink comes later, often after you've already finished half of your meal. The quality of the food simply doesn't justify the prices anymore. If you pay with e-lunch or another card, you have to check out yourself first and then pay the rest at the counter. Sometimes you can also pay directly to the server, which is really nice, especially because they really make an effort and are super friendly. It's a shame that the rest of the service has changed so much.

03/08/2025: A very nice place near the historic center of Dobbiaco. I had schnitzel with fries and cannelloni for dinner. Everything was good. The Black Forest cake was truly excellent... a generous portion and not too sweet! Fair prices for Dobbiaco.

30/07/2025: Excellent strudel. Great cappuccino and ice cream.
