26/05/2026: I've been going to South Tyrol for decades now. Sometimes we stay for a few days, sometimes it's just a spontaneous one-night visit during one of our motorcycle or convertible tours. What I incredibly appreciate about the region, and what I've always experienced, is the warm hospitality. You arrive and hear a genuine, "Hello, did you have a good journey? Welcome!" You immediately feel at ease. Unfortunately, it was completely different at the Hotel Alpenland. The reception was extremely cold: a brief "Hello," the room key, and that was it. When I asked about the restaurant's opening hours, I received the curt reply: "It's all written here" (pointing at an information sign), "and in the room too." Spoiler alert: There was absolutely no information in the room. Unfortunately, things continued in a similar vein. Upon arriving in the room, we discovered that it wasn't the type of room we had booked at all. "Mistakes happen," I thought, and went back to reception. The lady's reply, however, came in an absolutely accusatory tone: "The room isn't available if you're only booking one night." The odd thing is, we'd only booked two days before arrival, and according to the website, the room was available for just one night. We were then given a different room in the same price category, which we didn't like at all. While the short-stay surcharge was waived the next day, it would have been professional to have informed us about this and offered the waiver directly at check-in. That would have made a completely different impression. I initially wanted to complain to the owners that evening, but then the staff informed me that the lady at reception was the owner herself. So, unfortunately, that was pointless. To be fair, the room was absolutely spotless, and the spa area with sauna and steam room was fantastic. The culinary aspect, however, was a disappointment. Dinner was okay, but it bore absolutely no resemblance to the promising pictures and descriptions on the website. The main course selection was also extremely meager, with only two dishes to choose from – we're used to much better in South Tyrol. We had a significantly better experience last year at another hotel on the same street. Unfortunately, breakfast the next morning was the low point: the chocolate croissants were bone dry, and the overall selection was extremely limited. We barely ate anything and left immediately. A little more South Tyrolean hospitality would do the hotel a world of good.

14/03/2026: Excellent hotel, super friendly atmosphere and staff, and breakfast and dinner were very good. For relaxation, there's a wellness area with a pool, sauna, and small gym. We highly recommend this hotel and would gladly return.

03/05/2026: A very pleasant place to eat in peace and quiet. The service was very friendly, and at the end of our meal they gave us complimentary drinks.

For a snack bar on the shopping street, it's a great place to eat at the small standing tables in front. You can also eat and order under the covered area in the entrance to the building to the right.

11/06/2026: Actually a nice little hotel with lovely rooms. The spa area is rather small, and the sauna is only open from 3 pm to 7 pm. The cleanliness throughout the hotel is impeccable 👍👍👍 Breakfast and dinner were perfectly adequate. The staff is very friendly. I'll update this review after my stay.

16/05/2026: Terrible! I ordered a Margherita pizza with peperonata, and there were only three tiny slices for €2.50? Four cheese with just Gorgonzola and tomato sauce for an extra €2.50? I used to go to this pizzeria often, but now I've had enough! They'll never see me again!

25/04/2026: Clean modern Restaurant, Bar with home own Brewery. Great for a small break on the Road, Lunch or Dinner. Great Coffee, friendly and quick staff. Nice outdoor seating with table service.

03/03/2026: I don’t go to less than 4* stays so my opinion is proper in comparison. That’s what a 5 star hotel stands for. Not a single thing to complain about. The second you step in the hotel you smell the warm welcoming and clean home vibing scent. You don’t have to take care for luggage, they take care for it and park the car, meanwhile you drink something at their bar. Staff is really trying, are comforting, professional, know how to make a joke and laugh positively, clean, well organised, food is very good, spa is hot, water also, little mini bus included with the kind sir who helps you pick up skis and gives them to you when you come to destination. The staff will tell you evrything to know about that kindly in detail. Stayed there for 4 days. Well done everyone! I highly recommend the stay in this hotel. 10/10 👍
