After the management disaster at Mein Beck Lana, where the menu has been severely limited for some time and unfortunately no improvement is in sight, Mein Beck Nals has become the best alternative. Great breakfasts and brunches at a very fair price. The staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive. There's also a huge selection of other items. The mango-passion fruit jam is especially recommended – simply fantastic! Highly recommended!

A welcoming bakery, the perfect way to start your day! Bread and pastries are always fresh, from soft brioches to freshly baked rolls. The breakfast and brunch menu is extensive and carefully curated: eggs, cured meats and cheeses, yogurt and muesli, baked goods, and excellent coffee, all made with quality ingredients. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is relaxing, perfect for a quick snack or a relaxed weekend brunch. A must-try!

Gasthof Waldschenke Restaurant

29/04/2026: We stayed at the hotel for a week last year. We had stayed there in previous years and were always satisfied. The hosts were very friendly and the staff was also okay. Unfortunately, we noticed last year that the food had declined significantly. The quality of the meals left something to be desired. Furthermore, we had a problem with parking. We frequently had trouble finding a parking space. This is because there is a parking lot for the Marlinger Waalweg (irrigation channel path) in the immediate vicinity. This parking lot is hopelessly overcrowded, so hikers park in the hotel parking lot instead. Given the location (high above Marling), this is disastrous, as there are no other parking spaces nearby, and parking isn't readily available in the town below either. Otherwise, the hotel is recommendable, and the view is very beautiful.
