25/10/2025: The cleanliness of the rooms (especially the bathrooms) is questionable. Otherwise, a solid hotel close to the center.

11/10/2025: The room air-conditioning doesn't work. It stop during the night multiple times and we told the front desk after the first night....but no improvement. This continued again on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th night. It has been a very very annoying and unpleasant experience! Instead of fixing the air con.... they just put tape over it. Today is the 4th night and the floor is flooded. When we called reception, he told me to speak German and when I say I am not German, he hanged up on me!!!

19/06/2025: Rude saleswoman, and she was only rude to us (tourists) because she had a completely different approach with the customers before us. She was very annoyed with us and answered half-heartedly. I'm talking about the blonde girl with the braids. You don't behave like that!

08/11/2025: We ate the South Tyrolean dumplings. We were here two years ago and remembered how delicious they were. Many visitors also order pizza here. Cozy restaurant with a friendly owner.

29/11/2025: We ordered the chicken biryani (10/10), the curry edama (9/10), and the Margherita pizza. It was good, but the waiter went ahead and added shawarma, ruining the taste. Overall, it was worth trying and was lovely.

10/12/2025: Simply amazing! The kebab is incredibly delicious, high-quality, and much more upscale than your average fast food. The pizza, hot dogs, and other options also taste incredibly fresh. (There are plenty of vegetarian options.) Fast, friendly service, a modern atmosphere, and generous portions. Highly recommended – my favorite spot in Bolzano! 🙌🔥

31/10/2025: Only pizza during the winter months, but it's fantastic. Topped with excellent ingredients and baked to perfection. All this in a rustic, cozy atmosphere at fair prices. We'll definitely be back whenever we're in the area.

29/10/2025: Thought I would enjoy the food because there were quite a few good reviews, but I could only order pizza, which I didn't really like because the base was so soft that I couldn't even eat a slice properly, unfortunately. 28-10-2025

02/11/2025: A pleasant place to take a break among the green meadows along the Talvera River and enjoy an aperitif. I recommend the Prosecco rosé.

08/07/2025: We stayed here for one night during our mountain bike alpine crossing. Modern rooms, very friendly staff/owner. We booked half board and would recommend it: 4 courses with a salad buffet, soup, half board (schnitzel and omelet were delicious!), and dessert. We paid €50 for two people, including water and a half liter of house wine. Great value for money, and it tasted good, and we were satisfied. Truly top-notch – thanks to the team and the Sonne family!!! Centrally located in St. Lorenzen, bikes can be safely stored in the ski room. We would stay here again 👍👍👍

11/12/2025: This is the second time I've stayed at this hotel. It's a great location, with helpful staff and friendly and accommodating service. Dinners are served at the highest level, just like in an elegant restaurant, with beautifully presented dishes, a wide variety of good products. The buffet offers a wide selection of snacks, cold cuts, cheeses, and more.

03/09/2025: Updated review following the hotel response: I appreciate the response. While I understand your policy, it is clear what story this incident tells. The story for your hotel is now: 'We would rather chase a small child into heavy rain than risk a paying guest momentarily finding one less umbrella available, even if all are unused.' I believe you could have a different story: 'Our staff saw a child in the rain and made a kind gesture to help.' The latter is the story even your own guests would remember and share positively. I am sharing this because I hope future situations are handled with more humanity and decency and less rule-following rigidity. Giving a low rating for the hotel staff’s lack of empathy or kindness. Today we were outside of the hotel waiting for our bus and it started raining. We and a lady with a little kid went under the hotel umbrellas to seek some shelter. Soon we were chased away by the hotel staff. He would not allow us to be there since we were not hotel guests even though the umbrellas were all free and no one else was waiting to use them. We told him we just needed be there for a couple of minutes before the bus came. He still would not allow us. It reflects badly on the hotel if this is how they treat people in general.
