30/07/2025: We recently visited Masathch Cafe and Restaurant, and I was truly impressed by the exceptional service and inclusive atmosphere. What struck me most was the seamless way the cafe managed to cater to patrons with special needs, making everyone feel valued and attended to. The staff's attentiveness, kindness, and dedication to providing excellent service were evident throughout my visit. The food looked delicious, and the ambiance was clean and inviting. I'm particularly impressed by the cafe's commitment to accessibility and inclusivity, which is truly commendable. We went there for drinks- aperitivo. Kudos to the team, especially the coordinator, who was clearly passionate about delivering outstanding service. I wish the cafe continued success and growth. Well done! 04/10/2025: Delicious gamosa (steamed ravioli with vegetables), coconut soup with vegetables. Friendly service, authentic, and affordable. We'd gladly return.

06/09/2025: Asian restaurant. Their cuisine ranges from Chinese to Thai and Japanese (including sushi). The quality and service are good. The atmosphere is nice inside, but the outside could be better (the terrace is covered by an awning and could use a little more attention). On hot summer days, it's very hot outside, with little ventilation. Inside, however, it's more comfortable.

16/08/2025: A refuge at 1900m offering a restaurant, overnight accommodations, and breakfast. Reachable by car via a 20-minute drive through the woods: I recommend a slightly higher-capacity vehicle, as the dirt road is potholed, and I don't recommend driving at night, as it's not lit. Stunning views of the entire valley at sunrise and sunset. Located at the crossroads of several trails on Monte Cavallo, it's an ideal place if you want to spend a couple of days away from the city and enjoy some nature walks. We had a great time: excellent food, with the option of a set menu in the evening for overnight guests, and very friendly and helpful staff. There are some children's games and a volleyball court. Top!

25/07/2025: Perfect for aperitivo and aperitivo. We ate in the garden inside a wooden hut, but the interior is also very beautiful and unique. Friendly staff and good food. A bit hidden from the main street, but finding it on Maps is worth it.

01/10/2025: What can I say, a magical place!! Amazing!! Brigitte, thank you!! Every time, it feels like part of your family!! Everything is always clean, tidy, with attention to detail. 03/10/2025: We got lost in the middle of Route 526 (a loop trail of Sassolungo group mountains), and managed to get to the Hut at about 7:30 pm after struggle. The sky was already dark and the weather was cold then. We were exhausted (after almost 8 hours of walk) without much water left to make the way back to Passo Sella carpark. Upon arriving the entrance of the Hut (already closed for business), we saw someone came out of the Hut and we almost screamed for some assistance. We were grateful we were allowed to get in the Hut and to make use of washroom and the staff also filled up our water bottle. They pointed us the right path to the car park and assured that it was a relatively flat path which took just about 30 mins of walk. Finally we took the path in complete darkness only with the iphone light torch😅 We were really grateful for the help of the Hut staff👍👍

30/09/2025: We shared a pasta and they also gave plenty of bread. It was delicious, cooked al dente and a nice vegan option unless you add the parm cheese they give. The view from this place was also wonderful!

09/10/2025: We found this place on our drive and we're so happy we did! Something on the menu for everyone, including vegetarian. Prices were good and service was wonderful! We are from the States and were very satisfied with this find!

07/09/2025: On a group vacation in Val Badia, returning from a hike, we stopped at this bistro for lunch. The food was good, with a wide selection, the staff was extremely efficient and courteous (special mention goes to one waitress from Puglia), the views were breathtaking, and the prices were fair. Definitely recommended.

18/11/2025: I stayed with my wife and 2 children, although I only recommend the hotel for couples, we had a great time! The hotel is very clean and elegant, with knowledgeable and always available staff! I tried breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and everything was worthy of a 5-star hotel! But the icing on the cake was the spa! Tooooop! Congratulations, keep it up! Also very good, Besi and Lina, the girls who do everything and are always there... keep it up!

26/10/2025: I was at the restaurant with my partner in the evening; we had a reservation. Upstairs in the lounge, we were greeted very warmly, and our jackets were taken and hung up. Downstairs in the dining room, we were allowed to choose a seat and were given the menu and a wine list. We weren't offered a drinks menu, nor did we know about it, and since we didn't want wine, we asked for non-alcoholic drinks. The head waitress snapped at us that we should have said so and, annoyed, recited the few juices she could think of. We were very interested in the food, but normally, this kind of treatment is reason enough for us to leave the restaurant. After a while, a bacon roll followed—we're vegetarians, so asking in advance would have been appropriate—and after a while, a greeting from the kitchen from a waitress who didn't speak German and didn't know what was being served. We still didn't have any drinks, and the annoyed head waitress at least explained to us what the greeting from the kitchen was all about. The drinks did arrive, as did our ordered food, which was truly excellent! High praise for the kitchen. Since the atmosphere was simply too hostile for us, we decided not to have dessert. All in all, the unfriendly service ruined the evening, and we won't be coming back.

20/09/2025: I ate a small, smelly pizza, then my wife felt sick because the meat was old. She was vomiting all night, never again.

01/11/2025: The food was excellent, the pork knuckle was superb! There were three of us without a reservation, and we got a table after just two minutes! The beer was also excellent!

24/09/2025: The octopus salad was delicious 😋 The main courses (pizza, pasta) were excellent. The tiramisu had a slight cinnamon flavor, but it depends on your taste. The prices were very reasonable.

24/09/2025: The waiters were kind and professional. It's a shame we chose this bistro for a good rib-eye steak. For €37, we were served a rib-eye steak that was supposed to be rare but completely raw, and a medium-rare one that was so rare it felt like a shoe sole, so tough we couldn't chew it. The grilled vegetables were raw, for a total of €74 wasted. To have such a renowned name, I think the owners should hire kitchen staff at least as good as the prices. Two bad rib-eye steaks out of two speak for themselves, vegetables included.

17/09/2025: Good selection of dishes. Meat is preferred, even though it's quite expensive. Service is so-so: slow and the waitress is uninformed. Otherwise, prices are high, like the rest of the area. The atmosphere is new and well-decorated, although the interior is a bit cramped.

09/07/2025: Booked a room with half board, very good location, quiet room with balcony and view of the alpine meadow. Underground parking space. Small supermarket next door and bus stop nearby. The dinner (4 courses) is fantastically delicious and very creative every day. Barbara and her team are very friendly. We are absolutely thrilled.

12/11/2025: Fantastic swimming pool, a full 5 stars! We visited twice during our autumn holiday and got free entry for 3 hours each time with the BrixenCard. There was something for everyone in the family: slide, whirlpool, lazy river, toddler area, swimming pool, large outdoor saltwater pool (sauna and gym available for an extra charge). In short: We'll definitely be back!

09/11/2025: Beautiful swimming pools and relaxing saunas are located on the upper floor. The water slide is a big hit with the kids. A lifeguard and a traffic light system ensure safety. There's also a toddler area with its own pool and two small slides. The showers and toilets are usually clean. Unfortunately, the indoor bar is closed during the summer. A plus is the water fountain where you can fill your own water bottle. The relaxation area is spacious and offers plenty of room.

17/08/2025: Fontana Bianca Lake (Weißbrunnsee) is a pearl of the Ultimo Valley, well-maintained and enchanting at nearly 1,900 meters above sea level. It's easily accessible by car (parking €8) or by bus/shuttle from Santa Gertrude, or even on foot along the valley's trails. It's perfect for a relaxing stroll around the lake or as a starting point for beautiful hikes to mountain huts, alpine lakes, and scenic refuges: Malga Fiecht, the circular hike to Fischersee and Malga Fiecht, Lago Verde, and Rifugio Canziani, or longer routes, such as the circular trail between the lakes (Verde, Pescatori, and Lungo). Advanced panoramic hikes are also possible, such as to the summit of Monte Chiodo.
