Kaserhof In Renon

We had a great time on the llama/alpaca trekking tour! Although they are not cuddly toys, it was great for adults to spend time with them too. Animals are well behaved and the staff are also very friendly. Would come back at any time!

Wir waren am 23.08. als Familie zu einer 3,5h Tour mit ca. 25 Gleichgesinnten aufgebrochen. Es war alles gut vorbereitet, die Tiere beladen und Wünsche ob Lama oder Alpaka berücksichtigt. Nach der Einweisung ging es los, durch das schöne Südtirol, durch das Dorf und über Stock und Stein. Auf halbem Wege, dem Ziel der Tour, gab es eine wunderbare Verpflegung mit landestypischen Dingen - sehr lecker. Hier war dann auch viel mehr Gelegenheit als unterwegs, mit dem Inhaber Walter Mair über alles was interessiert (Tiere, Land und Leute) zu sprechen. Es gab viele tolle Gespräche, auch untereinander, da die Wanderung mit den Tieren für eine wunderbar positive Grundhaltung sorgte. Wenn die Gespräche in der Familie wieder auf die Tour kommen, macht sich gleich wieder ein Lächeln breit. Dafür danke Walter Mair, gerne wieder einmal. Nach dem Ende der Tour, als wir fast gehen wollten, kam nochmals die menschliche Seite zum Vorschein. Es war ein wirklich sehr heißer Tag und es gab für mich durstigen Mann, obwohl keine Bewirtung am Haus mehr erfolgt, das letzte private Bier aus dem Kasten.

Dear Kaserhof team, thank you very much for the wonderful holiday on your farm. Our 5-year-old granddaughter Vroni described it perfectly: “When I grow up, I want to live at Kaserhof.”

We went to Kaserhof to go on an excursion with llamas and alpacas. The place is wonderful, the animals are treated with attention and love. The place can be reached by car, but also by taking the bus or cable car to Soprabolzano and continuing on foot to the mountain hut (it takes a 15-20 minute walk) The excursion was beautiful, the animals are docile and you become familiar with them quite quickly. The excursion, in my opinion, is not suitable for all people, if you have difficulty walking you risk not being able to keep up with the group. The staff is friendly, attentive to the needs of the animals. During the excursion you are offered the opportunity to taste local foods and homemade drinks (the apple juice and elderberry juice prepared by the owner's son are delicious) If you are celiac there are still things to eat or taste, of course you need to let them know first so that they cut the bread last. I highly recommend the experience, even just to get to know their wonderful alpacas and llamas.

We booked a great llama tour with children. Was well organized. Duration 3 to 4 hours and halfway with a small picnic. We were well accompanied. And even though we got caught in a thunderstorm, it was a great experience for the whole family.
