10/06/2026: Great little cafe that serves alcohol. Nice local beers on tap. Lovely toasted sandwiches w/ meat, cheese & tomato. In-house made strudels looked delicious. Proprietor was very friendly & helpful. Menu is available in English as well. Perfect walking distance from Villa Irma as well. 2 toasted sandwiches & 2 beers €21.

22/07/2026: Nestled between Terlan and Bolzano, close to the main road yet somewhat hidden, lies this wonderfully pleasant spot. Excellent wines, a fantastic host, and a completely relaxed atmosphere on the terrace make it a popular place, especially with locals. It's a wonderful place to spend time, particularly as the sun begins to set. The menu is small but delicious. When the restaurant closes around 10 pm, you can simply stay and enjoy the warm evening hours with your wine. Great service!

06/12/2025: Highly recommended! We've been coming back to the Larmhof for several years now and always enjoy eating there. It's an absolute must for us! The owners and staff are incredibly friendly, fun, and clearly love what they do. The food is outstanding. Everything is homemade and freshly prepared. From barley soup and Schluzkrapfen (filled pasta), to a mixed meat platter, bacon, cheese, chestnuts, and sweet desserts. Very generous portions and absolutely delicious! It doesn't get more South Tyrolean than this! The atmosphere is cozy and rustic. The price is absolutely justified and totally reasonable!! We're already looking forward to next year! 08/11/2025: We had lunch at this beautiful farmhouse on a Saturday in November, having booked in advance, but there wasn't any need. We ate inside, but there would have been plenty of space outside as well, and the view was splendid. The staff were very friendly, and in addition to the menu, there were several equally delicious off-menu options. All the dishes were tasty and well-prepared, home-cooked, and the meat dishes were made with meat from their own farms. The homemade bread was truly delicious. The coffee from a local roaster was much appreciated. They also took great care of children, and there were high chairs, a changing table, a playground, animals outside, and a beautiful park. Highly recommended. Prices are in line with the South Tyrolean standard.

14/01/2026: A wonderful, family-run hotel for relaxation and enjoyment, with breathtaking views over Schenna and the Merano Valley. We stayed there with our family between Christmas and New Year's and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The food, with its buffets and set menus, was excellent, and we would especially like to thank Silvia for her outstanding service. The hotel also boasts a lovely wellness area with indoor and outdoor pools. The latter is even open in winter and offers stunning views while swimming.

22/05/2026: We had a delicious meal, especially the Schlutzkrapfen and Ladin potato fritters, and the meat course was wonderful too! We enjoyed great wine, finished with a tasty apple strudel, and received exceptionally friendly service. A real recommendation if you want to eat authentic Ladin food. We're already looking forward to our next visit.

06/10/2025: We were here for the first time two years ago and again this weekend – and it was wonderful again! Everything feels very homely; everyone is friendly and welcoming. The donkeys in the morning are especially lovely – a real highlight. The food is super fresh and delicious, the rooms cozy and inviting. We'll definitely be back next year!

22/12/2025: Overall, our stay at the hotel was okay, but not entirely satisfactory. While the room was clean, the restaurant's offerings didn't fully meet our expectations. The selection was limited and lacked variety. There's definitely room for improvement.

27/07/2026: I can only speak for the ice cream, but unfortunately, we didn't like it at all. The pistachio ice cream was far too sweet and didn't taste like pistachio at all, but rather like marzipan. It also came in a soggy cone. And yet it cost €2 per scoop. There wasn't much of a selection of flavors either.

25/07/2026: We were unfortunately disappointed with our visit to Pizzeria Hirschen Cervo. The pizza was only average in taste and didn't meet our expectations. Even more disappointing, however, was the service. The staff seemed unfriendly and not particularly attentive. Overall, we felt the price-performance ratio was not convincing. We will not be visiting the restaurant again and cannot recommend it.
