23/12/2025: We had made a reservation online for a group of 8 people 2 hours in advance. The reservation was confirmed via email. However, there was initially no table available for us when we arrived. After a 20-minute wait, we were finally able to get a table. However, we could only stay for 90 minutes because the table was actually reserved for someone else. The food was very good and the staff very friendly.

19/02/2026: The service was simply fantastic. They asked about your wine preferences and then offered about three different wines to taste for free, allowing you to choose. The lady was so lovely and had so much information to support her recommendations. If you like, you can also get delicious snacks without any unpleasant price surprises! The price/performance ratio is absolutely fair (how anyone could mistake this for a tourist trap is beyond me). Thank you so much for this wonderful wine bar! ❤️

24/07/2025: We've been to South Tyrol several times, but the location at Enneberg-San Vigilio is perfect. The 15-minute drive from the Fanes-Sennes-Braies Nature Park is a great advantage. The scenery is magnificent, and many places are easy to reach. The Hotel Olympia is small but perfectly formed, with a fantastic breakfast and a superb dinner. The wellness area is perfectly adequate. Parking is perfectly adequate. The dining atmosphere is very pleasant, and everything is beautifully decorated. The family leaves nothing to be desired. The rooms are very large, and the balconies are a particular plus. We were there with our Goldendoodle. The hotel is super dog-friendly. It was very nice that the surroundings are ideal for walking the dog, and it was also no problem to bring the dog to dinner. We will definitely be back; the price-performance ratio is excellent. 03/01/2026: The last day of 2025 was the last day of operation for the Goldener Loewe. A heartfelt thank you goes to Didi, his family, and his staff...and we look forward to a new initiative that can once again become a point of reference for Monguelfo.... The quality I've always associated with Didi and his team is: hospitality. The hospitality was further supported by the restaurant offerings, the choice of recipes, and the simple, traditional flavors and tastes. Tradition needs to be reinterpreted, but it is a distinctive feature of this land and, more broadly, of all the lands of Italy, which give strength to diversity... I hope Monguelfo continues to maintain its own identity... without becoming overcrowded with tourism and easy profits... and maintaining the balance between the Dolomites' environment and the woods, the animals, and the people. This is the beauty I've always found here. It's a welcome refuge; when time is short or we arrive at the last minute, we've always found a solution with traditional dishes and delicious flavors. Last Thursday we chose risotto with mushrooms, chanterelles, and porcini mushrooms... and the positive opinion was unanimous.

11/10/2025: Dinner for two. We had booked, specifying a quiet table. We were seated at the entrance, at the walk-through table. The people standing at the bar enjoying aperitifs were less than a meter away from us: it felt like we were in the middle of a market, with the added hustle and bustle of people coming and going. To top it all off, the door leading outside was constantly left open, leaving us eating in a cold draft. The table was too small to hold two glasses and two plates.

18/04/2026: A magnificent setting at the foot of the Sassongher, a highly professional staff, and an atmosphere that made Live Sketching even more special. M & J's wedding in September 2025 was one of those events where everything ran perfectly. An experience I highly recommend!

10/10/2025: Rustic yet welcoming, the interior decor is inviting. The outdoor terrace offers a panoramic view of the entire valley. The traditional dishes are plentiful and of excellent quality. The staff is friendly and attentive. Prices are average, and the portions will satisfy even the most discerning palates. Definitely worth a try.

02/05/2026: A rustic alpine hut with comfortable outdoor seating, friendly service, and delicious food. Daily specials are always posted on a board at the entrance.

12/12/2025: Unlike some frustrated customers who probably take their disappointments out of the reviews, we had a wonderful time. The place is located right on the road to the Aurina Valley. Very fast and friendly service, two beautiful girls who SPEAK ITALIAN. The buckwheat cake was delicious, as was the strudel. I highly recommend it for anyone passing through.

23/03/2026: We had dinner at the restaurant. It was a wonderful surprise. I hadn't heard of it, even though I've been coming to Vipiteno for decades. I'll definitely be back.

14/03/2026: The Hotel Restaurant Schaurhof was recommended to us by Snowtrex when we were looking for accommodation for a week's ski holiday with vegan options at the beginning of the year. The price-performance ratio and the ski area appealed to us, so we booked it. Our room was very clean; the bathroom bin could have been emptied daily, but otherwise everything was excellent. Our room on the first floor was a bit dark, but that wasn't a problem. Everyone who worked here was exceptionally friendly and helpful, whether it was the waitstaff at mealtimes, the owner when we ordered dinner, or whoever was at reception. Quality is clearly a priority here, and it shows. Now for my personal highlight: the food. Finding vegan options on holiday is often difficult, and I had my doubts about half-board. But the breakfast was more than sufficient for me. It included bread, rolls, spreads, hummus, muesli, and plant-based milk. Dinner was like a fine dining experience, either already vegan or adapted by the owner, so we had three vegan courses every evening. We had confirmed beforehand via email that this had been noted during booking, and everything was as expected. The food was almost always excellent, very thoughtful, and not at all run-of-the-mill. Our only suggestion for improvement: When booking half-board, you mark your preferred dinner option at breakfast. It would be very helpful if the list included ingredients or a label like "v" for vegetarian and "ve" for vegan, or something similar, and would save some time and potential questions. However, since meals were often specially adapted for us, there's really nothing to complain about. We would and will wholeheartedly recommend the entire combination of accommodation, food, and the Rosskopf Hotel to everyone. Thank you so much for everything!

18/12/2025: We had a wonderful short break at the Thalguter! We were able to start our arrival day with breakfast, and our room was already prepared. From the warm welcome and friendly service to the helpful tips for excursions, everything was always done with attention and a smile. The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired, the spa area is inviting and relaxing, and the room is spacious with a balcony and a beautiful view. The location is ideal for hikes directly from the hotel or from one of the nearby cable cars, or even for a stroll to Merano. Supermarkets and restaurants are in the immediate vicinity. All in all, it was a fantastic stay, and we will definitely be back!

05/12/2025: A family-friendly atmosphere with all the benefits of impeccable organization: squaring the circle. A very refined atmosphere without that intimidating exclusivity. Everything is spotless, well-organized, and the staff is attentive and friendly; it's hard to find fault. To find fault: the bathroom lacks a bidet (as is often the case in these parts), despite many years of honorable service, but perfectly clean and efficient. The pool and sauna are remarkable. The breakfast... simply fantastic. If we ever return to this area, this will definitely be the first place we'll consider.
