19/06/2025: When a long-established restaurant, also popular with South Tyroleans, shifts its focus to a family restaurant. 11/06/2025: The food and staff are very good and hard to beat. Unfortunately, due to the playground located directly behind your table, you can't eat in peace. The noise level from the playground is unbearable, making it impossible to enjoy the good food at all. Jürgen Nötzel

18/06/2025: Great place to stop towards the end of hiking the Sassolungo loop. Don’t miss the high tech toilets. Beautiful views of Sella mountains with Sassolungo mountains behind. Enjoy the slide next to the hut! Very fun. Note that the kitchen isn’t open all day.

16/06/2025: After standing at the "entrance" with our infant for several minutes, we were asked if we just wanted a drink or something to eat. We wanted to eat. The "manager" would come over right away and seat us. After waiting five minutes and having 20 employees walk past us without even looking at us, we left. On top of that, the prices were outrageous for such poor and unfriendly "service" (soup 14 euros).

19/04/2025: Very comfortable hotel for those who ski but also for those who don't ski Suitable for adults in my opinion Very kind staff I spent 2 nights in suite 500 (two adults and a 16 year old daughter) the accommodation is perfect Great independence and privacy as it consists of two separate bedrooms with two internal bathrooms and a common entrance I couldn't ask for better accommodation Beautiful indoor and outdoor swimming pool - spa, massages, relaxation room, gym everything is managed at the top and the stay at this hotel was truly perfect A special note goes to the restaurant service FOR CELIAC PEOPLE (our daughter was served with great attention and kindness by a waiter dedicated to her and was able to taste all the exquisite dishes they offer, modified as needed for those intolerant to gluten with great attention and in total safety). Congratulations indeed because I have been traveling for more than 20 years all over the world with celiac children and service like this is rare. Thank you

03/06/2025: The place has a bit of vintage decor but the Neapolitan pizza is quite good and the waiters are friendly. Prices are average for Bolzano. I think it's the only pizzeria I've been to lately that doesn't accept dogs.

29/05/2025: We had a bit of trouble understanding each other, but that wasn't a problem as they provided us with excellent service and excellent food. We ordered the Principe pizza and the Napoli pizza, both delicious. Highly recommended

06/05/2025: Excellent breakfast, clean, but the bathrooms are a little dated but clean. There is no lift to the upper floors and the location is ideal for the area but if you decide to move it is located in a dead-end street, you have to go back to get connections to other areas.

23/04/2025: We had a very nice stay at the Steinhauswirt, which was particularly special for us because of the proximity to the ski lift and the super friendly hostess. We were also satisfied with the rooms and half board. A special plus point for us was that we were allowed to take our dogs with us for breakfast and dinner. We have been coming to Ahrntal for 20 years and have tried out many accommodations. Next year we want to go to the Steinhauswirt again. The location and hospitality were simply outstanding for us.

09/06/2025: Typical Chinese place with wooden interior. Fair prices and attentive and kind service. The food was average; chicken quite good but unfortunately the duck was completely flaccid. I reported the fact and was told that if I report it next time in advance they will make it crispier. I have not tried it yet but I will let you know.

16/06/2025: Price was fine but no steakhouse and no hot tub as advertised. The illusion is given that it is in the village but that is not the case. Food is possible in a restaurant around the corner that is good.

08/03/2025: Una baita bellissima lungo la pista che scende dal Seceda a Ortisei, al sole ma in mezzo al bosco; una cucina ricca, con tanti piatti squisiti (uova speck e patate e spatzle tra tutti); un servizio super veloce e cortese; un listino prezzi inferiore ad altre baite della zona; un’atmosfera vivace nel pomeriggio. Serve dire altro? Consigliatissima!

31/01/2025: Ogni volta che vengo a Ortisei, tappa obbligata. Questa volta tanta nel bosco, un paesaggio bellissimo per raggiungere la baita… Questo posto è bellissimo estate e inverno. Ogni volta un’occasione perfetta per un dolce o per un pranzo. Servizio ottimo e veloce. Location perfetta per rilassarsi fuori sugli sdrai al sole o in baita. Cibo ottimo e i proprietari tutti TOP. Prezzi assolutamente in linea alla qualità dell’offerta.
