03/08/2025: We spent two nights at the Pizzeria-Gasthof Stern during the Prad Country Festival. The receptionist was very friendly, and check-in took only a few minutes. The entire staff was also very friendly. The double room with a balcony was beautiful and very clean, with a view of the mountains. The bathroom with a rain shower was exceptional. There was no minibar, and the room had no air conditioning. This wasn't too bad, however, as it was cold and rainy throughout our stay. The day we left, the weather improved. However, in hot weather, the room could become unbearably hot. The breakfast was very good and plentiful, and was constantly refilled. I can't rate the restaurant or pizzeria because we didn't eat there. Overall, we think the inn was absolutely worth the price.

27/07/2025: A restaurant in the center of Prato, with both indoor and outdoor seating, both well-maintained. We've had lunch here twice. The menu features classic South Tyrolean dishes, plus a daily menu with interesting options. The dishes are excellent and portions are generous. The pizzas are also good, light but well-made. Prices are reasonable.

18/07/2025: Not a good place for Italian-speaking diners. We booked ahead of time, but once we showed up, they seated us at a table near the entrance. The rest of the restaurant was practically empty, and it remained empty for the rest of the evening. I think it's been thirty years since I've experienced such a warm welcome in South Tyrol. I thank the management, and I will be careful not to return, nor will I recommend it. P.S.: The dishes weren't bad, but the inconvenience prevented me from appreciating them. Unfortunately, the traditional dishes have disappeared.

20/07/2025: Rather inconspicuous from the outside. But for us, a really great place. Good, inexpensive food, and the indoor tennis court is great too. Lovely family business.

17/07/2025: Felt very authentic, good prices and nice staff. Pizza was great, although they were out of tiramisu we were offered another cake which was delicious :)

06/05/2025: The food was very good, large selection, very tasty and the prices were ok. Unfortunately, after an initial friendly greeting from an employee, we were then served by the (presumably) owner, who was very unfriendly and harsh to us. The local guests were also treated much friendlier than we tourists, which I always find very irritating.

24/07/2025: We came here with friends for lunch during a visit to the botanical gardens. It's the in-house restaurant of a tourist attraction, with all the trimmings. You wouldn't expect anything less. The food was quite tasty. Not outstanding—you can get a lot better in South Tyrol—but solid. The portion sizes are a bit small by South Tyrolean standards. Compared to that, the prices are comparatively high. This is particularly noticeable with the children's dishes. Almost €10 for a sausage with a handful of fries, wow. We've gotten a lot more for less. The service was okay. Not overly friendly, but professional and prompt. We (2 adults + 2 children) paid €70, including water and four simple dishes. Overall, everything was okay, but not a restaurant you absolutely have to visit.

15/07/2025: Overpriced and not very filling – not convincing value for money Unfortunately, the restaurant didn't impress us in terms of taste or price. The pizza was rather small and tasted average – we would have expected much more for the price. The sushi was also of decent quality, but the portions were very small, which made the overall price-performance ratio disappointing. Compared to other restaurants, we paid almost double here – and still didn't get full. So, if you come with an appetite, be prepared for a very high bill or better yet, look for an alternative – unless you're willing to spend around €50 to satisfy your hunger for a few hours. Conclusion: Friendly atmosphere, but too high prices for too small portions. The quality is solid, but the price-performance ratio is unfortunately not right.

12/07/2025: It was a very nice stay. We had half board. In the morning, you could choose your dinner. It was fantastic. Antipasti followed by a three-course menu. The location was excellent. The bus stop was right in front of the main entrance. Everything was paid for with the Tirol Card. Only the Three Peaks had to be paid for.

25/02/2025: A very nice hotel with a charming retro charm. The breakfast and dinner are delicious and varied. The staff is very friendly. Excellent.

06/03/2025: Locale molto bello e suggestivo situato poco dopo la fermata dei bus e del parcheggio pubblico. Meta di grande affluenza di turisti. Possibilità di mangiare piatti locali e bere bevande gustose. Prezzi molto alti e porzioni limitate. Ottimo Panorama!

24/02/2025: Dopo la bella escursione al Monte Specie, ci siamo fermati qui per il pranzo. Il locale è molto frequentato e il personale lavora ad un ritmo frenetico. I piatti, gustosi, sono abbondanti. Mentre si mangia, se il tavolo è all'esterno, si gode del bel panorama.

08/06/2025: A good bakery with a bread delivery service. Essential on vacation! We also really like the small café where you can get something delicious almost any time of day. Breakfast was also delicious. There's a few seats inside and outside. Very friendly service. We come here every vacation.

24/06/2025: We were out on a rainy evening in Merano and decided to go to Pizzeria Beatrice. There were only six other guests in the restaurant besides us. Furthermore, several obviously staff members were sitting at one table. The ambiance seemed very dated. The menu was only served upon request. The pizza and drinks arrived promptly. The quality of the pizza was, to say the least, subpar compared to other pizzerias in Merano. The dough was tasteless and so thin and moist in the middle that it was almost impossible to cut. The toppings included canned mushrooms. The Veneziano (Aperol Spritz) was served in a 0.2l red wine glass, which puts the asking price into perspective. We cannot recommend Pizzeria Beatrice to anyone.
