21/06/2026: We finally made it back to the Mörrerhof – a unique historic farmstead with its own chapel and a fascinating history. We received an incredibly warm welcome from our two hosts, Eduard and his wife Erika. Eduard proudly showed us around the beautifully restored chapel, the old kitchen, and the lovingly decorated parlor. It was impressive to see the passion and dedication with which this historic gem is preserved. His wife then treated us to an excellent Wiener Schnitzel, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The breathtaking view, which makes the visit truly special, is also worth mentioning. I went to the cashier and explained what happened, and they charged me for the ice cream (which was more expensive) as if it were my choice and not their mistake. The food was excellent, I can only recommend it. The cakes are also very delicious. The prices are a bit higher compared to other huts, but considering that the food is regularly airlifted up, I think the prices are really justified. 👍🏻 I can only recommend it. 😊
