30/06/2025: Refuge closed for renovation but without any notice on the signs or on the website! A real scandal for the Venosta Valley...!

26/06/2025: A hike to Sesvenna Alp is gorgeous…surrounded with loads of mountains with a stunning view to the valley. Unfortunately the building is closed for the whole year due to renovation. So make sure that you have some snacks with you…😋

31/07/2025: This was honestly the first rifugio I’ve been to and it was the best. Beautiful location along our hike and the food is outstanding. Adults all loved their meals and our young daughter said the spaghetti was one of her favorites of all time. They had lots of beverages as well, outstanding service, and amazing views of the mountains/trails!

30/07/2025: We visited the restaurant and really enjoyed it. The menu is plentiful, and the seating is lovely with a view of the lake. The only downside was that the wait for the food was a bit short. Everything was on the table within five minutes of ordering. Nevertheless, it was tasty and well-prepared. The prices are on the higher end.

26/07/2025: Thanks for nothing. If you just want a drink here, you're a second-class guest. AT LEAST I wanted to round off our last day of vacation with a drink or two with my wife and daughter. The first order was taken and served in a friendly manner. A beer €5.80 A chocolate ice cream for €9 (tourist trap!!!) A 1/8 of a white wine €8 And after that, the four waitresses skillfully ignored us. Neither hand signals nor eye contact helped. Oh yes, the occupancy was at 20% – so it was hardly a busy place. The people who were having a meal were looked after and cared for, the other guests were not. There's absolutely no need to put up with such behavior – we don't need it either – and we've had a very different experience at other restaurants on Lake Kaltern. In short, this was a complete no-go for us. If the €22.80 for the three drinks wasn't enough revenue, sorry – it wasn't our fault that the bill wasn't higher. This was and is HOMEMADE. With that in mind, have fun at Lake Kaltern – just not here.

20/04/2025: Capitati per caso per il pranzo di Pasqua con una coppia di amici. Locale semplice. Abbiamo scelto il menù a sorpresa da tre portate. Che dire tutto al top! Qualità, cortesia, ricercatezza negli ingredienti e piatti decorati con estrema cura. Tutto buonissimo da leccarsi i baffi!! Ristorante da ricordare. Complimenti al proprietario!

12/07/2025: Great service, very accommodating, spacious and clean rooms, with daily cleaning and towel changes. Central location near the train station.

09/07/2025: The room was large but dated, and very bright as the curtains weren't blackout. The bathroom was large but with a very small shower. The staff were a bit disorganized and forgetful! Check-in was very complicated as we canceled a room within the specified time frame. The email apparently didn't arrive and we were asked to pay more than we should have. After a lot of back and forth, everything worked out and the bill was corrected. A table for breakfast was supposed to be reserved as there were 6 people in the group, but unfortunately the table was occupied and not reserved! Coffee had to be picked up at the counter. A taxi was supposed to have been called, but it was forgotten! We weren't even offered an underground parking space. Breakfast was very straightforward.

23/04/2025: Wonderful family, all good and friendly. Friendliness reigns in this place and they make you feel at home. The food is exceptional and special praise goes to the waitresses who are uniquely kind...
