30/01/2026: Dinner with my husband. Everything was perfect! Modern and refined, friendly and attentive service, excellent food, vast wine selection... in short, a restaurant with a capital R. We'll definitely be back!

24/01/2026: This was the first disappointment of our week-long trip to the Dolomites. We ordered a 1kg Tomahawk that was honestly awful—much of it was unrendered, chewy fat and hard gristle. The meat itself was very chewy as well. When we complained, the management was very dismissive, telling us that "it's not a fillet," as if we didn’t know the difference between marbling and inedible waste. The cabbage salad was so salty it was inedible (though they did take this off the bill). We also asked for gluten-free bread when we sat down, but it never arrived. Most of the staff were okay. The only things we liked about this place were the setting and the fries. I'd suggest skipping this spot. All other restaurants we went to in the area were much better.

21/10/2025: I usually order online. Today I was there. We were vacationing in the area, and I'd always wanted to meet my supplier. So I took the time to go there. The quality of the products convinced me, and of course, I bought the things I usually order online.

02/02/2026: Great location for skiers, direct access to the slopes. We had a wonderful week. It would be fantastic if the rooms (bathrooms) were also updated. The staff is incredibly friendly and multilingual. Excellent value for money.

28/01/2026: I've been coming to this hotel for 5 years, and I love everything about it... the staff is wonderful, there are all the amenities a family needs, the wellness center and pool are top-notch, and finally, the owner, Anton, is a fantastic person. Try it....

10/04/2026: Dear [Hotel Management / Guest Relations Team], I am writing to express my disappointment regarding our recent stay at your property. A few days prior to our arrival, I sent an email requesting a simple birthday surprise for my wife, as we were celebrating her special day during our stay. Unfortunately, upon check-in, the front office staff seemed unaware of my request, as the email had not been read. Although I was later informed that a cake and greeting would be arranged, this defeated the purpose of the surprise. Additionally, upon entering our room, we found it uncomfortably hot due to a malfunctioning air conditioning system. When I reported this issue, I was advised to simply open the windows throughout our stay, despite the cold weather outside. This was not an acceptable solution, especially after a long drive when I was hoping to rest. I approached the front desk to raise these concerns. The manager initially offered a room upgrade, but only at an additional cost, which I declined since the inconvenience was not our fault. We were then reassigned to a smaller room that was not suitable for four الأشخاص, despite our booking clearly stating 3 adults and 1 child (11 years old). Even the housekeeping staff mentioned that the room was not appropriate for four guests. However, the front office insisted otherwise, leaving us with no choice but to accept the situation and make uncomfortable sleeping arrangements. To add to our frustration, around midnight—after we had already celebrated my wife’s birthday—we received a letter of apology offering a complimentary room upgrade, which was the same upgrade previously offered at an extra charge. This inconsistency felt unprofessional and disappointing. Overall, the lack of communication, poor handling of requests, and inadequate customer service significantly impacted our experience. What was meant to be a special occasion turned into a frustrating and disappointing stay. 28/03/2026: Stop by because the food is divine, very good food, generous portions at a more than fair price, a truly excellent choice this place. The lady was super kind and available to help you choose dishes, compliments to all the staff 🍀 €72 for two with 2 first courses, 2 second courses and 1/2L of wine.

22/03/2026: We had lunch at this trattoria on a Friday, returning from Lake Braies. The location is truly convenient for those in the area: it's easy to get there even without a car, using the bus (line 442), which connects directly to the lake. On the way back from the lake, just get off at the S. Vito, Chiesa stop and take a short walk of about 350 meters to reach the trattoria. The interior is cozy and pleasant, with large windows offering a beautiful view of the mountains. This is a true highlight of the restaurant. Personally, however, I didn't appreciate the scattered stuffed animals and various decorative objects, which in my opinion detracted from the atmosphere—but this is obviously a matter of personal taste. The food is typical of the area, very good, and above all, plentiful. The portions are generous, so my advice is to pace yourself: perhaps start with an appetizer or just a first or second course, and then add more later. The service was correct and friendly, but a bit distant. The dishes arrived quickly, but without any particular involvement or attention during the experience: that little "accompaniment" that would have made everything more warm and refined was missing. We ordered: 1 Beer - €5 1 Sparkling Water - €2.50 1 Cheese Platter - €14 1 Pappardelle with Mushrooms and Cream - €14 1 Spinach Canderli with Fresh Cheese Sauce from our Farm - €12 1 Grilled Sausage with Polenta and Wild Mushrooms - €12 1 Grilled Sausage with Baked Potatoes and Tyrolean Sauerkraut - €15 The prices of the main courses may be inaccurate, as the receipt wasn't very clear and we didn't take a photo of the menu. Overall, it's a recommended stop for those seeking local, flavorful, and hearty cuisine, in a convenient location with a truly remarkable view.

02/01/2026: A very cute and quaint place. I really appreciated that when we booked, the staff made sure to reserve a table for us even though the place was almost full. The food was relatively good, nothing exceptional, and the menu was rather limited. Unfortunately, the evening wasn't up to par. When we entered the restaurant, we waited at least 10 minutes without the staff seating us, and there were long waits to order dinner. Many people in the room next to our table had to leave to ask the waiters to take their orders. When the appetizer arrived, the cutlery hadn't yet been brought to the table. There weren't even any condiments like oil, salt, or vinegar at the table. Very disorganized service; I totally understand busy nights, but truly disorganization is at the root of the service. Prices are higher than average, and when we paid, we weren't even given a receipt. In good faith, I hope it was printed and kept by the restaurant. Unfortunately, I wouldn't return.

02/09/2025: Fantastic place, a true agriturismo where you can enjoy mostly homemade products, meat from their own farm, and a fantastic speck made by the owners, who are also extremely welcoming and friendly. Unfortunately, it's not easy to find a table because it's almost always full, so you need to book in advance. The owner jokingly told us, "We're always full, probably just because we have a large free parking lot 😂"

05/10/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Wonderful lunch at Bad Turmbach! We had lunch at Bad Turmbach and were completely delighted. Very friendly, attentive service and top-quality cuisine. The steak tartare and venison ragout tagliatelle were excellent, followed by the Turmbach trout and, for my wife, the braised beef cheek – both perfectly prepared and delicious. A wonderful place to enjoy – we'll definitely be back!

27/09/2025: We had dinner at the Bad Turmbach restaurant twice, and what can I say... it was fantastic! Excellent service – wine list and advice = first-rate! The dishes were freshly prepared and delicious! And for dessert, the Zirmer cake – I'm lost for words: Outstanding!!!!! We'll be back on our next trip to South Tyrol!!! Great, great, great!!!

07/04/2026: We stayed at Ahner Berghof over Easter and were absolutely thrilled. The location and the view are breathtaking. The farm is modern, family-friendly, and pet-friendly. The host family and staff are so warm and welcoming. The food was delicious. The playground, the swimming pond, and the ponies were fantastic!

10/03/2026: A heartfelt recommendation! We spent a week at the Ahner Berghof with our one-and-a-half-year-old son and were absolutely thrilled.
