31/07/2025: A typical Ladin restaurant located in a historic house (dating back to the 1500s), and the ambiance alone is worth the price of admission. The food is a fixed menu that changes regularly, but always strictly Ladin dishes. The lady who welcomes you is a woman from another era; it truly feels like a journey back in time. Generous portions: first course, two second courses, side dish, dessert, and coffee—all excellent. Highly recommended.

22/07/2025: Super!!!!!Pranzato in otto amici , imbarazzati e indecisi sulla scelta delle proposte culinarie vista la varietà dei prodotti proposti ( non si potava assaggiare tutto!!)Scelta classica su polenta e capriolo ottima per alcuni, mentre altri scelto ravioli. Per finire strudel classico di alta pasticceria e strudel alle albicocche una ottima novità. Le Signore addette al servizio molto cordiali e gentili, ci hanno portato un liquore al sambuco dentro a bicchierini fatti a pipa (offerti dal Rifugio) Grazie. Sicuramente una tappa obbligata per chi passa da quelle parti. Prezzi nella media di altri rifugi.

16/07/2025: Avevamo sentito parlare di questa Baita del Cacciatore sul Monte Elmo ed oggi questa curiosità si è finalmente concretizzata. In auto, da Sesto, siamo saliti fino ad un primo tornante dove c'è modo di parcheggiare e proseguire a piedi. Sin da subito, il colpo d'occhio su Croda Rossa, Cima Tre Scarperi, Croda dei Toni, Croda dei Baranci, Monte Paterno, ti affascina e ti aiuta a proseguire con lena, fino a raggiungere il sentiero "via della meditazione". Qui, di frequente, intagliati in dei totem di legno ci sono delle preziose rappresentazioni di scene bibliche con incisi i versetti a cui si riferiscono. Si giunge quindi alla Cappella nel bosco; una costruzione in legno con un piccolo campanile e all'interno un semplice ma, originale altare e delle meravigliose sculture sempre in legno a sfondo religioso. Ed ecco, finalmente, la Baita con l'accoglienza festosa da parte dei gestori, persone simpaticissime, che ti mettono subito a tuo agio. Per mangiare poi, c'è solo l'imbarazzo della scelta; noi ci siamo concessi i ravioli alla ricotta e funghi porcini/capriolo in umido con polenta, crauti e marmellata/strudel con panna /gelato con lamponi caldi/acqua, vino della casa e un buon caffè: tutto veramente ottimo. Ci è stato offerto, su dei carinissimi bicchierini a sagoma di pipa, un liquore a base di sambuco, molto apprezzato. Ci ha favorevolmente sorpreso la cura e l'ottima presentazione dei piatti. Un ringraziamento particolare al gestore Umberto, persona poliedrica, appassionato della montagna, prodigo di consigli e molto disponibile. Grazie di tutto, ci ritorneremo con piacere.

02/06/2025: Dopo aver parcheggiato nella zona del Castello ed aver imboccato il Sentiero 6a nel bosco, tutto ombreggiato, dopo circa 40 minuti siamo giunti in questo meraviglioso ristorante. (bello sia all' esterno sia all' interno). Personale squisito. Abbiamo pranzato con tris di canederli, piatto dell' "affumicato", tagliere di salumi e formaggi,insalate dell' orto come contorno, vino bianco, acqua, grappe, caffè. Servizio pronto, accurato, veloce, qualità della materia ottima. Salutato, ringraziato per la bella esperienza, abbiamo ripreso la via del bosco.

15/05/2025: Great little find. We are stopping in one of the 3 bed apartments and the hosts couldn't be more helpful. Martha met us with a big smile and handshake, showed us round the apartment and told us about the restaurant (they run) and the fresh food they produce. Pigmy goats, calves, chickens. Fresh eggs, bacon, bread and all the meat in the restaurant is home grown too. Ate in the restaurant last night. Excellent 👌 It's like a 5 star hotel without all the airs and graces. Superb and would dedo recommend 👌 👍 🥳 Table tennis and table football available FOC. Easy reach of Alp di Siusi and Seceda

16/07/2025: The courtyard has a very pleasant atmosphere. It's relatively quiet (tables are spaced far enough apart) and cool, making it a great place to enjoy a bite to eat and a glass of wine. The restaurant and the food are rather simple and rustic. The wine prices aren't cheaper than elsewhere, though. The service was very friendly, but could have been a bit more attentive.

22/06/2025: A rustic oasis of peace in the heart of Kaltern, we felt very comfortable here again and again. The elderly gentlemen serving were very friendly, the food was excellent, and the wine was good and affordable. Just as it should be; the Drescherkeller will continue to be a regular stop for us on our future vacations in Kaltern!

17/07/2025: It's hard to find by chance. The food is really good and the prices are reasonable. The menu is smaller, but it's really tasty. It's worth it. The owner is a young man, and he's really cool. Highly recommended. Wonderful atmosphere, down-to-earth, with a feel-good atmosphere.

02/07/2025: We stayed at the Hotel Heubad last week and felt very comfortable in our beautiful room. The hotel offers an outdoor pool, an indoor pool, massages, and much more. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and competent. Breakfast was excellent, and the 5-course dinner left nothing to be desired – delicious wines rounded off the experience. The free bus service takes you to hiking areas and towns like Bolzano or Bressanone. For us, it was pure relaxation.

16/07/2025: I'm sitting here at Platzl right now, and we arrived quite late. But Franceso was able to revive the kitchen and served us a bruschetta I've never had before. It was sensational! The best bruschetta I've ever had! An absolute insider tip!

14/07/2025: We're spending a few days in beautiful Brunico, enjoying not only the ambiance and wonderful atmosphere of the town but also the good food, and luckily we found the "Platzl" for that. It's primarily a pizzeria, but also offers meat and pasta dishes along with various salads. Let's start with one thing: the pizzas are really, really good, as are the pasta dishes we tried. The meat dishes we saw at neighboring tables on our evenings also looked incredibly delicious, and there wasn't a crumb left over 😉. The staff also deserves special mention; they not only do a great job, they are really helpful, very friendly, and fast – simply fantastic! Francesco and his team would get 10 stars from us. We highly recommend the "Platzl" to everyone.

24/05/2025: Highly recommended! A super-friendly host family. Clean and well-sized rooms. They do everything a guest's heart desires. Bressanone is easily accessible – the bus stop is right next to the hotel. Hiking and excursion options are fantastic. The breakfast is excellent – ​​especially the freshly made eggs. The half-board meals were also consistently delicious, always with vegetarian options. We would love to come back. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

13/07/2025: We stayed at this hotel for 4 days. The rooms were clean and comfortable, including a bidet, which isn't a given. The food was very good, with an excellent breakfast offering a variety of sweet and savory options. The staff were friendly. I recommend it.

22/01/2025: Sono molti anni che veniamo sull’Alpe, avevamo sentito parlare bene di questo rifugio e quest’anno che finalmente siamo riusciti a pranzarci non possiamo che confermare il passaparola positivo in merito. Qui troverete autentica gentilezza, gusto, qualità, ampia scelta del menu’, ottima presentazione delle portate e una bella atmosfera. Al momento per noi è la migliore esperienza culinaria sull’Alpe. Speriamo di potervi tornare in futuro.
