AH Bräu / Sachsenklemme In Fortezza

We've been there many times. Unfortunately, things have changed somewhat. While the food is still good, the staff has become increasingly unfriendly. Oddly enough, the waiters only become very nice when it's time to pay. Sadly, this has ruined the whole atmosphere.

The food was delicious, the beer garden was nice, but the prices were rather high. Unfortunately, the service at our table was very poor, unfriendly, and rushed, like in a fast-food restaurant. After asking three times whether side dishes were included with the Wiener Schnitzel, we were told yes, we could choose from the options downstairs, and that they were included in the price. However, when the Wiener Schnitzel arrived, we were told the side dish was extra.

Unfortunately, since we have a dog, we had to sit outside. It was freezing cold at night, so we ate quickly and ran out. The pizzas were good, with quality ingredients. The beer was excellent, the summer red, smooth and aromatic. From what I could see, the inside was very nice and welcoming. The staff was friendly, fast, and helpful.

We stopped at this hotel and loved the restaurant. The daily menu offered absolutely delicious suggestions, with fresh and carefully prepared cuisine. The local beer, brewed on-site, is very good, with even a selection of seasonal beers. Some dishes are also prepared with ingredients from the brewery, making the experience even more interesting. The exterior is a bit noisy due to the highway, but the interior dining room is very well insulated and very quiet. This allows you to choose the ambiance in which you want to dine. We preferred to eat outside, as the setting amidst the mountains was very pleasant, but the interior would have been a very good option as well. A truly wonderful experience and a place we gladly recommend.

I really like this place, I always stop by! The food is good, and the beer garden is beautiful, especially in spring.

Great place, fantastic food. Friendly staff, charming owner who enthusiastically told us about brewing beer. We were traveling by truck. Good parking spot across the street. Large beer garden, must be great in the summer.
