This Italian restaurant is excellent. Everything on the menu is delicious. The owner is very nice. We ordered: 1. Pork escalope with french fries 2. Tangliatelle with mushroom cream sauce 3. Mixed salad with balsamic dressing 4. Fried egg with bacon and fried potatoes 5. Grilled sausage with porridge and forest mushrooms, served with mustard sauce. There were 5 of us, and as Asians, we were able to share plates. Free bread is provided on the table. There is parking next to the restaurant. The view from the restaurant is great. The owner is nice and speaks English. They have ketchup, mayonnaise, and Thai Sriracha sauce.

Such a cute family business! We had the deer goulash with polenta and it was delicious. It has a very grandma’s home vibe, and their homemade honey that came with the tea :) Also only 4 min away from the Lago di Braies parking, so totally worth it for an after hike lunch.

Traditional food in a stunning setting at reasonable prices. The lady who served us was very friendly and kind. If we ever return to Lake Braies, we won't miss lunch here.

We had a great time. The appetizer included a platter of pork shoulder and house cheeses with accompanying sauces. It was excellent! We continued with venison goulash and polenta with wild mushrooms, which was truly delicious! Generous portions, we were well-filled! Recommended!

It was the best meal I have had in a long time! We took a plate of cheeses to try them out, they were all excuisite and they come with sauces that were just amazing. For the dish we had spinach canederli and tagliatelle with speck and cream. It was outside of this world. The wines are also amazing. I am just thrilled with this place😍

Fantastic regional cuisine in a cozy, traditional inn with a breathtaking view of the valley. The dumplings are delicious, and the oven-fresh apple pie is simply divine.

Oberon Restaurant

07/12/2025: Oberon is cheap and cheerful serving excellent food that would cost two or three times more a couple of doors down. It is basic, relaxed, with very pleasant staff.
06/12/2025: A small restaurant that vaguely recalls the taverns of the past, spartan in its furnishings but with a kitchen behind the scenes that you would not expect, everything delicious, fast and efficient service and a friendly and helpful owner.

30/05/2026: Highly recommended! ❤️ 1. The hike to the waterfall and up to the alpine pasture is breathtakingly beautiful. 2. The food is so delicious – I had cheese dumplings with coleslaw. Delicious! 3. The prices are quite reasonable. 4. There's a trampoline and other play equipment for children. Verdict: 5 stars, we'll be back!
