03/10/2025: Without a doubt, the best Chinese restaurant in Bolzano. Well-executed traditional dishes, excellent ingredients, and the entire staff are friendly and courteous.

23/09/2025: The guy from Jiangsu and Zhejiang who recommended the sweet and sour spareribs, I went to eat it despite all the bad reviews, based on the principle of fellow countrymen trusting fellow countrymen. The meat had a smell, it was obvious that it was fried and then frozen and then taken out to cook again, a xian smell (I don’t know how to say this smell in Mandarin), which could not be covered by such strong sweet and sour oil. How can he praise it so much? In my family, such meat would be thrown away... I carefully ordered the dishes recommended by the reviews. I can only say don’t come, you won’t go there even if you are starving.

19/11/2025: I wonder if this place has ever been inspected by the hygiene department!! No one wears gloves when preparing the food; the pizza chef makes your pizza and then picks up the broom. What happened to me this summer is even worse. I ordered a pizza at the counter when I saw the employee wiping sweat from his forehead, so I mentioned it to the owner, who told him to wash his hands. Luckily I was there, at the counter; who knows how many he topped with his sweat? Another employee comes out, smokes a cigarette, and then makes you a kebab.

12/09/2025: It's absolutely delicious! I've only ever eaten pasta, so this feels like heaven. If you want more salad, please add more.

14/09/2025: A very bad experience, the owner was very unpleasant. When he wrote down an order incorrectly, he snapped at us: "Eat and be quiet." The owner was nice, apologized, and didn't charge for the incorrect dish.

13/10/2025: Pizza delivery or self-pickup. The pizzas are delicious and freshly made. Pickup only requires a short wait, and the staff is friendly. Everything is excellent.

10/09/2025: The pizza was delicious; we had the regular with scampi and arugula for €9. We'll definitely order again.

31/12/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance, but we were pleasantly surprised. Just a few meters from the main road in Cortaccia, yet in a quiet location, there's a truly special place. You wouldn't expect it from the outside, but inside it's very charming and well-kept. The owner makes excellent pizza, thin and crispy, and is happy to chat with customers. The other dishes are also unique and more refined; you might pay a few euros more, but it's worth it. Highly recommended! We'll be back soon.

28/08/2025: Unfortunately, there's no menu or drink menu. The waiter didn't know the prices even when asked. You have to order blind. So we decided to get up and go somewhere else.

12/01/2026: Well-kept space and friendly staff Unfortunately, the main exhibition currently being hosted is certainly interesting but not very accessible to Italian tourists: the explanatory videos are in German (alas, with English subtitles, not Italian... it's difficult to concentrate on the English while listening to a German voice). The ticket office kindly provided us with a brochure in Italian, but it proved insufficient to fully appreciate the exhibition. Too bad

The food is carefully prepared, balanced, and rich in flavor: each dish exudes attention to detail, quality, and a delightful harmony of flavors. The staff deserves special mention: friendly, discreet, and always attentive, making guests feel welcomed with ease and professionalism. The atmosphere is elegant without being overbearing, warm and welcoming, perfect for those seeking a pleasant and well-curated experience. 28/11/2025: We were there in July and, after a spontaneous tasting, bought some wine: "Pino Grigio" and "Weißgold" (both 2023 according to the label). We've already drunk several bottles of both wines, and they all taste (unlike during the tasting) old and stale…really annoying considering the price!

23/09/2025: This was such a memorable local experience in Bolzano. Brigitte and her family (including Mimi the cat) left me with a sweet and unforgettable memory. I texted her with not much hope but she replied shortly and helped to arrange my wine tasting. We had a great talk which added extra flavor to the already amazing wines. If you want an authentic, heartwarming experience in Bolzano, don't miss this family-run winery!

29/12/2025: We were just having coffee at the restaurant. Our first impression was very positive. We considered coming back for dinner the following evening. However, after the poor service and treatment we received (from an older lady), and the fact that the next guests were already being shown to their table before we had even finished our coffee, we decided never to go back to this establishment.

28/12/2025: We can only judge the restaurant and the overall experience. The reception was a disaster, unworthy of a professionally run restaurant. We were "shuffled" into a musty room on the first floor. Then it turned out that they only served pizza in the evenings and no other options, even though the menu at the entrance promised otherwise. It took an hour before we finally got our pizzas. As an aside, the pizzas were rather average in terms of taste. We are very disappointed and will definitely not be returning.

15/04/2026: I stopped in for a quick lunch and was really disappointed. The place isn't the prettiest, but that doesn't really matter. The food was poor quality, but what left me speechless was that they offered a workers' menu without mentioning that the vegetable "buffet" was an extra cost (it's normally included). In any case, I would have even agreed to pay a surcharge if it weren't for the fact that the buffet was truly meager and, besides, everything was practically sold out. The 5 euro surcharge was definitely not worth it.

15/05/2026: I'm a vegetarian and ordered a custom piadina through Deliveroo. Unfortunately, two ingredients were incorrect, and even worse, one of the ingredients was chicken. Mistakes like this are unacceptable, especially when it comes to important dietary choices. It's not even the first time: I've found a piece of meat in the packaging of my vegetarian piadina in the past. Truly disgusting and disappointing.

28/12/2025: We are writing to share feedback regarding our recent, and regrettably, final stay. While this was our third visit, the hotel’s atmosphere has shifted from a family resort to a tourist compound as it expands. We observed a significant decline in service, indicating a lack of expected 5-star staff training. Our food orders were consistently incorrect late or completely missing for five days, and front desk operators frequently forgot requests, struggled with simple requirements, and lacked empathy and professional courtesy. Additionally, the food quality dropped significantly. The pasta was consistently overcooked, flavors were flat, and the lunch buffet appeared to be composed of leftovers. It seems the hotel is currently struggling to balance the increased quantity of guests with the quality of the experience.

22/12/2025: It is our fifth stay at Feuerstein and I surely have a thorough understanding of both the resort and the region. Food is great; staff, for many I know by face by now, are very nice; facilities are good for kids; and the best massages I have ever had in Europe. The fact I have returned for four times shows how much I liked it. Having all these being said, my stay of last week fell apart. The overall issue is simple: the resort is expanding fast but many seasonal staff were not well trained. I have food orders missing in the air, confused dinner service and the worst of the worst, was the check out. The day before our departure, I saw my neighbour chalet parents moving with multiple bags and three young kids. It was quite chaotic so I was giving a hand. I asked why they did not call for the service. The response was: "we did but they never came; and now our shuttle bus to the airport is leaving...." Ok, so we decided to move the luggages ourselves to make sure everything is on time at departure. I checked out at 10:30am at the reception. Between 10:30 and 12:30, I was locked out of the chalet twice as the key card did not work. The staff came to deliver new card each time very quickly but did not mention much why I was locked out. The most frustrating part was when we are all packed with luggages and two kids walking towards the garage, our key card could not open the garage door. For those who have never been here, this is a HUGE resort. My husband had to go all around the ground floor to enter the garage and open the door for us from the other side, while I was waiting with the kids and luggages. I wrote an email to complain. The response i received was no more than saying: it is our rules and it is not our fault. The overlooked fact is these rules are NEW (because we were invited for lunch of the departure day many times before and now it cost 100 Euro covering lunch and facilities but not the room). I am not objecting the new rules or the cost involved; but please explain them better as they are very confusing even for the returning customers! For ski classes for children, Feuerstein does not book for the guests. Although the transfer and coordination between the resort and ski has been smooth, it is still a bit stressful to arrange the ski lessons by yourself, while other similar resorts in the region will do that for the guests. Also, compared with other family resorts, the activities offered to adults are very limited here. There are gym lessons everyday but very few outdoor activities to explore the region.
