27/10/2025: We spontaneously found it online while passing through. Everything was absolutely excellent. We had burgers, fries, kebab plates, etc., large portions, very fresh salad, and very tasty burgers. The staff was friendly and attentive; we had exactly what we ordered, even with special requests.

09/10/2025: We ordered two Tirol Burgers and fries for delivery. Congratulations!!! 👏👏👏 Excellent quality/quantity/price ratio, in our opinion. We have smiles plastered on our faces and full bellies, but not heavy. When I eat good food, I only have one thing to say: thank you so much from the heart and from the belly 😍

15/07/2025: Extremely disappointing food experience. The food tries to be sophisticated and unique, but unfortunately, the taste is so poor that it’s nearly inedible. It's really upsetting, especially considering that hotel guests don’t have other dining options on-site. To find alternative restaurants, you have to leave the property via funicular, which is inconvenient.

06/10/2025: Very rude owners. When we entered, they didn't say hello, and when we paid again, they didn't say hello even though the pizzeria was practically empty. The lady just looked at us without making a move. It's a shame because the pizzerias weren't that bad.

26/07/2025: The atmosphere was lovely, with soft lighting and candles lit at the tables. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and the service was impeccable. This restaurant is excellent for romantic dinners. The pizza was also good. In this case, I had spaghetti with fried eggplant in tomato sauce. It was really good. For dessert, I had a chocolate soufflé with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, which was also good. For what I ate, I have to say that the quality/price ratio was fair. I recommend this restaurant.

29/09/2025: My girlfriend and I unfortunately only stayed one night in your cozy Ortlerblick suite on our return trip from Milan. We were overwhelmed by the beautiful 180-degree view of the Alps from our balcony and our accommodation. Our suite was very modern and absolutely clean. The Illmer family owns a very well-maintained, comfortable, and tastefully furnished property, which they make available to their guests along with friendly and courteous staff. Not only the very friendly hotelier, but also the service team took great care of our well-being. The 5-course dinner menu was exceptionally varied, a feast for the eyes, and very digestible. For a vegetarian like me, there was a huge selection of delicacies. The service came to our table regularly and discreetly to provide us with the best culinary delights. The selection of drinks, both at dinner and breakfast, left nothing to be desired. The breakfast offerings were very extensive. There were a variety of fresh juices, fruit, rolls, bread, cheeses, etc. We are very sorry we only booked for one night. Next time, we will definitely stay longer to have more time for the luxurious wellness area. My friend thoroughly enjoyed her massage in the afternoon. The masseuse was very competent and pleasantly warm. We wish the Illmer family all the best and thank you for the enchanting stay. Mrs. Wessel & Mrs. Wolf

29/09/2025: Cozy atmosphere, but due to the time of day, we only had the small menu. The pizza is not recommended. The dough tasted sweet and wasn't cooked properly, with some of the dough being raw. My wife had a Spezi, which was inedible. Service was good, but unfortunately, we realized too late that we had been deducted from the bill. Apparently, it was €18 for a beer and a Spezi.

14/06/2025: I was invited to an event with DJ ChristianMarchi. Garage closed, drinks only outside the club and chemical toilets without the possibility of washing your hands or getting settled, because they created a VIP area and did not let you go to the club bathroom, which at that time was only for VIPs and DJ started playing at 2:00 in the morning. First music raeggeton and commercial. They lost two customers forever.

26/11/2025: We've been here twice in a row, including for Törgellen (a traditional South Tyrolean autumn feast). No reservation was needed, which we really appreciated! The food and drinks were of excellent quality – highly recommended!

30/10/2025: A truly delightful evening at Ruster in Merano! The restaurant is welcoming, well-maintained, and has a typically South Tyrolean atmosphere, warm and genuine. The quality of the dishes was a surprise: we started with a very fresh, delicate, and flavorful beef tartare, crafted with great attention to the finest ingredients. This was followed by a plate of traditional dumplings, soft and delicious—authentic comfort food, prepared as it should be. But beyond the food, what makes the experience special is the service. A special thanks to Jeck, the head waiter: friendly, helpful, and with a lighthearted approach that immediately puts you at ease. He served us with professionalism and an infectious smile, making the dinner not only delicious... but also fun! A place to return to, both for the quality of the food and the pleasant atmosphere and impeccable service. Congratulations to all the staff!

20/11/2025: One of our best stay, the hotel is very clean and near to many must attractions in Dolomites like lago de Breis . The owner Mariana and the receptionist were super kind and guided us perfectly. The restaurant around was great with great value as well. A supermarket just 30 m away from the hotel with local fruits and cheese. We also enjoyed a night with local band near from our stay. I really highly recommend.

09/09/2025: Bar with excellent service. Extensive menu. Excellent ice cream sundaes. Rating confirmed in September 2025. Also excellent are the toasts, cakes, and hot chocolate.

26/04/2025: Première chose, penser à réserver. Un acceuil sympatique, le patron parle Italien et Anglais. Le cadre est magnifique, nous étions dans la salle du bas sur un aquarium. Le personnel est sympathique et le service parfait. Le repas est bien sur à la hauteur, avec la carte et les plats du jours. C'est bien préparé, bon et copieux. Une excellente soirée.

02/04/2025: Wir waren hier Essen, nachdem wir zweimal in anderen Restaurants keinen Platz bekommen hatten. Die Karte war klein, was normalerweise nicht schlecht ist. Wir wollten etwas leichtes Vegetarisches essen. Da blieb dann nicht leider nicht viel übrig auf der Karte. Die Spargellasagne war dann fast geschmacklos und Spargel gar nicht zu entdecken. Die ist allerdings auch schwer so zu kochen, dass sie gut schmeckt. Hätte ich daher hier auch normalerweise nicht bestellt. Aber in Ermangelung von Alternativen, war das leider die einzige Option. Wer gern schwer und fleischlastig ist und auch Hamburger und Steak schätzt, könnte hier gut aufgehoben sein.

I proprietari della malga, nonché dell allevamento di bovini, sciolti al pascolo, sono persone estremamente genuine e tipiche della zona. I loro prodotti fatti con le materie a km 0 rendono ogni pasto un godimento per i palati. Da evidenziare lo strudel di ricotta fresca e la polenta pasticciata. Tappa da rifare

30/06/2025: 3€ per una caraffa d'acqua del rubinetto e 1€ per il "supplemento panna" sullo strudel di mele. Queste sono senza dubbio le voci più eclatanti di un listino prezzi da lasciare esterrefatti. Da annotare anche i 17,40€ per una salsiccia (piccola) con un po' di patate senza salse di contorno. Queste, ça va sans dire, erano a pagamento. Ok, i prezzi sono riportati sul menù, pertanto il cliente è correttamente informato prima di ordinare, ma questo non può essere un alibi per giustificare dei prezzi tanto elevati da risultare quasi ridicoli. Neanche il fatto di essere in alta montagna è una scusa plausibile dato che la malga è facilmente raggiungibile dai proprietari attraverso una comoda strada. La stella aggiuntiva è stata data solo ed esclusivamente per l'impagabile scenario panoramico sulle vette dolomitiche circostanti. Consiglio vivamente di portarvi dei panini e di mangiarli sul prato antistante la malga. - - - 3 € für a Karaffl Leitungswasser und 1 € Aufpreis für a Klacksl Obers aufn Apfelstrudl. Des sein wohl de schillerndsten Positionen auf a Preisliste, wo einem schier der Mund offen bleibt. A no zu erwähnen: 17,40 € für a kloane Wurscht mit a bissl Erdapfl – ganz ohne Söß oder irgendwos doazu. De, ça va sans dire, hätt ma extra bezaulen miassn. Freilich, de Preisn stehn auf der Karte, der Gast isch also offiziell informiert, bevor er bestellt – ober des isch lei a schwache Ausred für so übertriebene und beinah lächerliche Preis. A das Argument, dass die Alm auf über 1.500 Meter liegt, zählt nit wirklich, weil sie für die Wirtsleut locker über a gscheite Forststraße erreichbar isch. Der zusätzliche Stern isch lei und ausnahmslos für’s atemberaubende Panorama auf die Dolomiten vergeben wor’n. I leg eich unbedingt z' mitn Brotzeit ho – und essets sie auf der Wiese vor da Alm.

20/08/2025: Located right in the center of Egna, adjacent to the post office, the restaurant welcomes you with an eclectic and tasteful style in its recently renovated interior. We enjoyed the cool evening at the outdoor tables. The service from owner Enzo and his staff was attentive, friendly, and never intrusive. We ate very well and drank very well (the wine cellar is very well stocked). Spaghetti with pesto, green beans, and potatoes, just like in Liguria, were delicious; eggplant parmigiana was tasty and fresh; beef tartare was delicious; and a stuffed guinea fowl was mouth-watering. The desserts were another pleasant surprise: especially the apricot strudel and the scoops of ice cream. They say they make excellent espresso, but it was evening and I didn't try it. We'll be back.

22/07/2025: Questo posto è perfetto per una serata tranquilla e non rumorosa. Servizio Top assoluta tranquillità. Prodotti di alta qualità specialità regionali non solo locali eseguiti secondo la tradizione. Ho chiesto la vera cotoletta alla milanese (e Viennese) di vitello con l'osso cotta nel burro chiarificato e mi è stata accolta la richiesta.

18/07/2025: Le pizze da asporto che abbiamo ordinato non erano solo belle ma anche molto buone. Oltre a questo, un dettaglio non da sottovalutare è l'utilizzo di cartoni per l'asporto composto da fibre vegetali e privo di sbiancanti chimici. Non posso che dire Bravissimi per le scelte degli ingredienti (tutti)!!
