Restaurant review: Main courses were mediocre in taste – portion sizes could be improved – pizza wasn't particularly good either… Desserts were a complete disaster – from the crème brûlée (curdled) to the tiramisu (made with cream – any home cook could do better) – to the mousse au chocolat (far too firm, simply not a mousse). We were only guests at the outdoor restaurant. The food was good – the pizza was the best. Not typical South Tyrolean food, with a few exceptions; lots of pizza, but it was delicious. 😁 The waitstaff were very friendly, at least the male waitstaff. One woman there was very hectic, loud, and agitated, and she was berating the staff in front of other guests… so that wasn't so great. I know that they want to please everyone and things have to move quickly, but that made the evening rather unpleasant.

Can’t comment on the stay but came here for the food due to really good reviews. Best steak my wife and I have ever had and at one of the best prices I’ve ever seen at 60 euros in total. It was dry aged and cooked at an extremely high temperature. Taste came out phenomenal. Cut like butter and was cooked perfectly. This was a steal for two people. Came with some fries and veggies each. Great staff and one of the meals we still talk about to this day. Can you tell we loved it?

A fantastic hotel! We stayed for two weeks on half board. Our balcony offered a wonderful view. It was very warm during the day, but thankfully there was air conditioning. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The half board menu was varied. The infinity pool is small, but the view is amazing. There's a larger pool one floor down. The location is superb; there's a bus stop right across the street. The service was very friendly and attentive. We would love to come back.

We had a room in the older building with a perfect panoramic view and a balcony. The room was furnished in a style typical of its age. The newer building has two lovely sun terraces with a swimming pool. The sauna area is also located in the newer building and is very nicely furnished, with a small tunnel into the mountain for relaxation. Unfortunately, we weren't so impressed with the food; the veal Wiener Schnitzel was deep-fried, very dry, and a waste of meat. The menus are somewhat confusing. However, the service was very good 👍🏼! Overall, we had a wonderful week at the Schennerhof!

We were a group. The welcome from the owner was very good. The cocktail was very weak and could be improved. Starting with the room: The bathroom was newly renovated, the furnishings were older but well-maintained. The mattresses were very soft and could use replacing. The balcony was lovely with an even better view of the Mutspitze peak and the valley. It was always clean. Service in the restaurant was very good. The reception staff were also always helpful. The breakfast buffet was adequate and perfectly sufficient. The only negative point was dinner. You had to eat a lot of salad beforehand, and the men, in particular, had trouble with the portion sizes. For example, two tortellini as a starter is quite small. But the main criticism was the taste. It was almost entirely lacking in flavor. Very bland. It was missing everything, even spices and salt. Improvement is needed. Perhaps it's also due to our age that we would have preferred traditional South Tyrolean cuisine instead of fancy dishes. The dessert was decorated with mint leaves, which were all wilted – something we've never seen before. It's best to avoid it. Otherwise, the hotel is a good choice.

The owners manage the property with a dedication that transforms the guest-hotelier relationship into an almost family-like bond. The welcome is impeccable, warm, and consistent. Services and Wellness: The common areas and services are top-notch; in particular, the pool proves to be a key element for relaxation. Food and Wine: The quality of the food is excellent, complemented by a varied and high-quality breakfast buffet. Although the dinner price is slightly above average, it's justified by the quality of the ingredients and the service. Final Considerations The only real "downside" is the objective difficulty of leaving the property at the end of your stay: leaving such a rejuvenating and harmonious environment is the only sore point in an otherwise perfect experience.

I stayed in a room on the 4th floor overlooking the road, and the view from the balcony was wonderful. The only downside was the sound of the large bell ringing from the nearby cathedral, but other than that, everything was great.
