Overall, excellent value for money. Definitely recommendable.
27/08/2025: The hotel is in a wonderful location; the rooms are welcoming and the staff is always helpful. I stayed with my family and really appreciated the attention paid to our little ones. The cuisine is refined and excellent. The rooms are meticulously clean.

03/10/2025: We planned to eat here on September 29th and were extremely disappointed! Although the restaurant was listed as open, we arrived at around 2:45 PM when we found a sign prohibiting any further travel. So we had to park by the lift and climb a steep 20-minute climb, as the area was currently undergoing renovations. A call to check whether the hut was still open went unanswered. When we reached the top, the restaurant had already closed at 3:05 PM, even though the opening hours were listed until 4:00 PM. Given the extremely poor parking situation, the listing should at least be kept up to date!

06/10/2025: A local cafe offering coffee and beer. It's a bit overwhelming because there are so many outdoor tables.
27/08/2025: A meeting place for the residents of Via Cl Augusta. A pergola that protects you from the sun. An internal room that can be reserved and holds up to 25 people easily for small refreshments or gatherings. Run by a courteous Chinese family, always ready to accommodate requests... they provide small pastries in the morning... Very popular on Weekend mornings.

24/10/2025: Great, modern hotel in Schenna. Ideally located for excursions throughout the Merano area.
We really enjoyed the daily 7-course menu 😋
Would recommend the hotel to friends and acquaintances.

Our stay at the Hotel Finkenhof in Schenna was simply fantastic! The view from our third-floor suite of the South Tyrolean mountain scenery and Schenna Castle was breathtakingly beautiful.
The food was of the highest quality and perfectly presented. The spa and wellness offerings were a highlight of our stay and helped us forget the stresses of everyday life.
The reception and the entire staff were very friendly and accommodating. We felt at home from the very beginning.
We will definitely be back and can wholeheartedly recommend the Hotel Finkenhof.

12/11/2025: I found this pastry shop by chance while strolling downtown! I was immediately drawn to their puff pastry.
We went there for both breakfast and a snack. The pain suiss and individual portions were exceptional. The place is truly well-kept and welcoming, as are the girls who work there, who are incredibly kind and sweet.

16/08/2025: The food is truly excellent: whatever dish you choose, it's always a guarantee.
The staff is wonderful, welcoming, and very friendly.
The location is ideal: less than 50 meters away are the soccer fields and, if I'm not mistaken, the tennis courts as well. Plus, there's a convenient parking lot right in front of the restaurant.
Highly recommended!

24/09/2025: A really nice spot right under the historic arches next to the cathedral. We especially like the outdoor seating. Pleasant service: matter-of-fact, professional, and attentive. Sitting here under the arches in the rain is still a cozy pleasure—if you manage to snag a spot. The plum cake and apple strudel were perfect for cheering us up.

The cheesecake unfortunately tastes sticky. I don't want to eat it.
The cappuccino... well, not really enjoyable.
The panini is very sparsely tossed and edible. Unfortunately, that's not exactly enjoyable.
Too bad. We thought it would be better in this location.

27/08/2025: Their food is delicious and halal and worth trying. I had chicken shawarma and potatoes and tried vegetable pizza. It was all delicious.
14/07/2025: We accidentally stumbled upon this place while going to our hotel late. This was one of the few places open later in the evening. The staff was friendly and helpful and catered to my vegetarian friend. We had kebabs and burgers and they were decent for the price.
