11/10/2025: We spent our vacation at the Alpenjuwel in September. Truly a "jewel" in every respect. Friendly, welcoming, sensational food, beautiful, cozy rooms, a lovely wellness oasis with a pool and whirlpool. The Langtauferer Valley is also magnificent; we went on wonderful hikes and even saw bearded vultures. 5 stars from us +++

The entrance is only accessible via a VERY steep driveway 👎
There's a step to climb in the building (ground floor)!
The room is much too small.
You can't access the balcony with a wheelchair 👎
The bathroom is too small and needs to be cleaned (mold in the shower) 👎

07/01/2026: It gets very crowded and noisy, especially during the ski season, as many school groups are there on their ski trips. It's a relatively good and inexpensive mountain hut with large portions! (One portion of hut macaroni is easily enough for two people.)

27/10/2025: We spontaneously found it online while passing through. Everything was absolutely excellent. We had burgers, fries, kebab plates, etc., large portions, very fresh salad, and very tasty burgers. The staff was friendly and attentive; we had exactly what we ordered, even with special requests.
09/10/2025: We ordered two Tirol Burgers and fries for delivery. Congratulations!!! 👏👏👏 Excellent quality/quantity/price ratio, in our opinion. We have smiles plastered on our faces and full bellies, but not heavy. When I eat good food, I only have one thing to say: thank you so much from the heart and from the belly 😍

25/02/2026: The coffee is decent, but the owner ruins it.
We went in for takeout and sat down outside for a minute at a table to wait for our friend. At that moment, the owner of the establishment ran out and started yelling at us, saying that if we'd sat outside, we should have told her so, and then she would have charged us servizio e coperto (service fee). THIS IS ABSOLUTELY INSANE!
We'll never go there again!
By the way, there's no food at all. Just coffee, bread, and croissants.
07/02/2026: Lovely place for a light lunch. My "local" sandwich was delicious, but you can have soup and salads as well. And the sweets and cakes looked amazing. Highly recommended!

The iced coffee is a puddle of lukewarm coffee with ice and cream.
Very unappetizing.
The server's reaction was curt and arrogant.
25/01/2026: Very unfriendly staff and an outdated menu, meaning you can't order many things. All in all, a very unpleasant experience and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone!

The atmosphere is a bit classic but charming in its own way, full of wooden details.
Prices are slightly above average, but the dishes are generous. We only tried the dumplings and were pleased, especially the beetroot dumpling on horseradish cream, which was included in the trio.
Child seats are available.
Conveniently located on the road, with ample parking.

An absolute gem in Bolzano!
Talvera is an amazing spot — the atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a truly beautiful setting that makes you want to stay for hours. The view is absolutely stunning, especially if you’re lucky enough to catch a sunny day. The coffee was rich and full of flavor, and the cake was just delicious — perfectly fresh and full of taste. It’s the kind of place that makes you appreciate the simple joys of good food, great coffee, and a lovely view. Definitely a must-visit in Bolzano!

24/12/2025: The largest McDonald's in the province, conveniently located inside with a children's play area. I also often use the drive-thru; it's a bit tricky to get in and out, but very doable.

21/08/2025: At the entrance, there's a sign that says "Gluten-Free Ice Cream," so we went in to enjoy a cone; my daughter is celiac.
The manager took a gluten-free cone, but he handled it with the same gloves he used to sell the regular cones. It's not so much his ignorance on the subject... what left me speechless was that, when I pointed it out, he asked us to leave! A terrible experience! I'll add one thing: that "gluten-free" sign is misleading; you shouldn't gamble with people's health. I would urge the relevant authorities to inspect the place and take action.

07/12/2025: It's a slightly dated hotel, but it's tidy and clean. The strength of this place is the people who work there! Always a smile, very helpful, and exceptionally friendly! Another strong point is the food. I ate very well in three days, it's a shame the kitchen is closed for lunch... See you again in a year!

11/12/2025: Excellent Peruvian cuisine, excellent ceviche, and I enjoyed the papa à la huancayna. You can tell the salsa is made fresh. Everything was very good.
07/12/2025: This food was excellent the ceviche was positively fresh and the seafood on the rice was not over cooked and flavourful. Best decaf coffee I've had in this town. Can't wait to try the rest of their menu this kitchen deserves a nicer joint
