13/07/2026: Excellent cuisine, but serious shortcomings in customer service. The restaurant boasts a splendid location and high-quality dishes. Unfortunately, the experience was repeatedly compromised by the lack of professionalism of the staff, particularly the management. We encountered aloof service and a widespread attitude of condescension, with an even more evident bias towards Italian customers. Friendliness and respect should be guaranteed to everyone, especially in a mountain refuge.

12/07/2026: I’m extremely disappointed with our experience at Jimmi Hütte. We were greeted by the rudest hostess I have ever encountered. I completely understand that the restaurant was busy and there was a queue, that’s to be expected at such a popular place. However, being busy is never an excuse for speaking to guests in a rude and dismissive manner. Both my husband and I were genuinely shocked by the way we were treated. We felt so unwelcome that we decided to leave before even being seated. The view is, of course, breathtaking, but that’s true for many places in the Dolomites. There are plenty of other restaurants with equally stunning scenery where you’re greeted with kindness and made to feel welcome. For us, great hospitality starts the moment you walk through the door. Unfortunately, Jimmi Hütte failed to deliver that, and we won’t be returning.

31/07/2026: We received a warm welcome upon arrival and immediately felt at home. The service throughout our stay was exceptionally attentive, friendly, and professional – just the right blend of warmth and discretion. The food was outstanding and of a truly refined standard. We were spoiled for choice; every dish was delicious! We were particularly impressed by the fantastic wine list with its vast selection, including many regional wines from South Tyrol. The value for money was excellent; we had an appetizer, main course, dessert, two bottles of wine, and a bottle of water. A huge compliment to the entire team! If you're looking for a great meal in Bolzano, this is the place to go. We will definitely return if we are ever in the area again!

12/05/2026: We love the delicious, large salad plates at this snack bar, filled with incredibly fresh and crisp ingredients, served with fries. We always stop here in the shade by the river on our way to Italy.

22/11/2025: What a fantastic place, super friendly people. And the salad was enormous and delicious, you rarely get it this fresh! And then you get to stay overnight in their private space, it couldn't be better. We'll be back!

14/02/2026: We went to the mountain hut for a meal while skiing. The food was very good.

09/02/2026: We stayed at the Graziani Hut during the first week of February with a group of nine people and booked a family room as well as the Chalet Gracia. The chalet is simply amazing – superbly equipped, very stylish, and comfortably furnished. The barrel sauna and the whirlpool right next to it are especially fantastic and make the stay truly special. The family room was functional and clean, but a bit cramped for four adults. The bunk bed, in particular, is rather small for adults – but manageable for a few nights. Breakfast was excellent, and the four-course dinner was delicious, varied, and featured regional cuisine. There were also great options for vegetarians. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable cabin holiday with only minor drawbacks regarding the family room. The chalets are truly fantastic – we would love to come back!

07/12/2025: Very nice, warm, and welcoming restaurant. There were five of us, and we all ate pizza. It was very good, with very thin crust and excellent toppings. We then had traditional apple and cinnamon strudel, a huge piece, truly delicious, and then the tiramisu, also delicious! Highly recommended ☺️

03/07/2026: I only needed a two-day stay to fall in love with this hotel at the foot of the castle, which is also very well-kept. Clean, spacious rooms with a terrace... a plentiful breakfast with very friendly staff... an excellent location for reaching other places... the necessary shops are nearby... in short, I'll definitely be returning... the only downside: there's no elevator, so be prepared to get moving, but those who come to the mountains shouldn't sit still... right?

20/03/2026: We stopped in spontaneously during a bike tour. We received a warm welcome. They served cappuccino and first-class apple strudel – I've rarely eaten such a delicious strudel!

30/12/2025: Hotel Clara Via Brennero, 64, 39040 Varna, BZ, Italy, located near the border with Bressanone: EXCELLENT RATING In November 2025, we stayed for two weeks at the Clara Family Hotel in Bressanone. The Clara family has been managing hotels and restaurants in the area for several generations, and their longstanding traditions have always distinguished them for their culinary art and hospitality. This hotel has a good number of rooms in the central area, all perfectly equipped and comfortable. Interestingly, there is also an adjacent building accessible both from the outside and via a beautiful and well-lit underground passageway. This building features a beautiful indoor pool, as well as a sauna and a very well-equipped gym. We were given a huge suite of over 40 square meters, equipped with every comfort, including a stone fountain with fresh, local drinking water that flows directly from the high mountains of Scaleres. The double bed is very large and particularly soft and comfortable, not to mention the separate living room and desk. Completing the comfort of the room are the separate toilet with bidet and shower, both very comfortable and with double sinks, making the suite extremely functional. The lighting is exceptional, and the view of the garden is wonderful through large, heat-insulating and soundproof windows that open onto a large balcony. The floors and furniture are all oak. We are pleased to highlight the impeccable cleanliness that reigns supreme throughout the hotel, along with the spontaneous kindness of all the staff, distinguished by their courtesy and professionalism. And finally, we must absolutely highlight the high caliber of the chefs and the quality of the ingredients for both breakfast and dinner, served in a typical Tyrolean-style dining room, expertly managed by Mr. Vassili. The two receptionists, Mrs. Stefi Clara, the owner, and Mrs. Verena, the manager, are unsurpassed in their courtesy and efficiency. The talented owner's performances on some evenings, with his accordion and his traditional Tyrolean music, were pleasant and appreciated. Our rating is undoubtedly EXCELLENT. 29/12/2025: I stayed at this hotel with my family and had a more than satisfactory experience. The room was spacious and very clean, the staff was friendly and available to provide any information requested, the breakfast was varied, and dinner was well-prepared and of excellent quality. A well-equipped gym and spa with a pool are also available. The hotel is well-located, just steps from the historic center and the main tourist attractions. I highly recommend it to everyone!
