Kastelaz-Keller In Termeno sulla strada del vino

The Kastelatz Keller is run by a brother and sister! We were there this evening and had an excellent venison goulash with wild herb dumplings and a trio of dumplings! Both were perfect, just like Grandma used to make! The older brother cooks and the younger sister serves! She does a fantastic job! She's very friendly and incredibly attentive! All in all, a top-notch restaurant! I hope they keep it up for a long time!

The menu is concise, but the food is good. The daily special was venison goulash, absolutely fantastic. The young staff is on the ball! And the waitress is a real character, quick-witted and witty 😘 We'll be back.

We went there four times in one week – that pretty much says it all! 😊 The food was excellent every single time. Whether it was the bacon platter, schnitzel with fries, the pork loin, or the spinach spaetzle – everything was fresh, incredibly delicious, and made with so much love. You can immediately tell that quality and passion go into everything you eat. We were also thrilled with the delicious house wine, which was truly outstanding. And the woodruff schnapps was simply divine and the perfect end to a wonderful evening. The two of them run the restaurant with so much heart. You immediately feel welcome; the atmosphere is warm and friendly, and that's exactly why you always want to come back. We had some fantastic and very fun evenings there. Spinach spaetzle as the daily special, delicious, and a very good house white wine followed by panna cotta with rhubarb compote, simply superb.

The food was fantastic, from dumpling trio to goulash, schnitzel, and spaetzle. It was all just good, hearty home cooking. The food alone was great – I'd go back in a heartbeat. The young lady serving was incredibly friendly and efficient – ​​I'd go back again in a second. The only downside was the beer, which was from the Hofbräuhaus. You wouldn't want to drink that at home, let alone on vacation. Why wasn't there any local beer? They did offer a bottle of wine from the Cantina, though.

It was a pleasant evening with quick service considering the crowds.
