05/07/2025: Kirschstreuselkuchen, from the freezer? At least ice cold with soft streusel instead of crispy. Not fresh and no better than the pre-packed ones from the supermarket.

25/06/2025: The wide selection and the delicious taste of the cakes and coffees are truly impressive and really good. Prices are a bit high, but the location and ambiance are perfect. The direct service to guests is actually friendly and prompt. No complaints about that. What is completely unacceptable, however, is the behavior of some employees in full view of the guests: jovial, loud smirking or smoking between guests and tables, waving wads of cash around before theatrically stuffing them into wallets, and the sometimes unkempt clothing. These perceptions massively spoiled the otherwise positive overall impression. What a shame.

27/04/2025: Ero cliente abituale, ma dopo che ho pagato 42 €per un risotto e 2 calici di vino, nn credo di tornarci , soprattutto dopo che ho pagato 4 € di supplemento per aver chiesto un pó abbondante ed è arrivata una porzione normalissima

19/04/2025: Ristoranti tra i pochi aperti ad aprile . Siamo stati accolti da uno staff molto preparato ma sopratutto simpatico. Piatti abbondanti e buoni, servizio veloce e professionale . Il locale è molto bello . Sicuramente ci torneremo

23/03/2025: Locale in posizione molto bella. Servizio disorganizzato ed approssimativo. Due primi piatti molto salati, da dimenticare. Discreto il Kaiserschmarren. Non è stato piacevole sentire il personale che, al bancone, commentava i capelli sporchi della collega.

13/07/2025: We slipped in here due to a storm and were pleasantly surprised. We stayed for a coffee and a pastry. Unfortunately, there was only a croissant and a muffin for the coffee, but no cake. It was a great location, though, and we'll definitely be back.

01/07/2025: We stayed at the Golden Rose for six days and felt very welcome and comfortable. It's an old inn with renovated rooms. They were very clean, well-furnished, and had a balcony overlooking the backyard and the mountains. There's a courtyard for parking and a closed garage for bicycles and charging batteries. We booked breakfast, which was simple but delicious, with room for improvement. My husband would have loved a fried egg with South Tyrolean speck. There were rolls, bread, croissants, sausage, regional cheeses, tomatoes, cucumbers, various jams, Nutella, honey, 5-minute eggs, yogurt, muesli, and delicious coffee or tea and fruit juices. This could be enjoyed on the shady terrace. And the friendly staff, who gave us tips for exploring the area early in the morning, were there to give us tips for exploring the area. We also had dinner three times at the inn. I have to give special praise to the goulash with dumplings and the schnitzel with fries. The shepherd's macaroni was far too bland for me, but that's always a matter of taste. Conclusion: A nice little hotel with good value for money.

25/06/2025: Three of us went there for dinner yesterday. All three dishes (goulash, spaghetti bolognese, and gypsy schnitzel) were excellent. The service was very friendly and super fast. Drinks arrived very quickly. The food didn't take long to arrive either. All in all, we'd be happy to come back.

10/07/2025: I had to cancel my stay for a work commitment a week before, and despite the advance notice, the management refused any flexibility or understanding. No refunds, no postponements, just cold responses and zero empathy. Screw you, €500!!! The room remained unused, but evidently the proceeds were more important than human dignity. I've been traveling a lot for work for 30 years. I've NEVER had an experience like this! Disgusting. And the wheel turns...! Good luck!

02/08/2025: Wir machen schon seit Jahren Urlaub in Bozen und haben dieses Lokal eher zufällig entdeckt Wir suchten mal nach was anderem da bei den bekannten Speiselokalen der Preis immer höher und der Service immer schlechter wird Waren sehr überrascht Gutes Essen toller Service reelle Preise Pizza um die 10€ und wirklich lecker Fleischgerichte um die 18€ Schöner Garten etwas abseits vom Trubel Wir waren jetzt zum zweiten Mal da, haben immer Platz gefunden ohne vorher zu reservieren Kommen gerne wieder

20/07/2025: Esperienza stupenda, oggi domenica 20 luglio, è assolutamente aperto, ospitale, staff e gestori gentilissimi, cibo ottimo, abbiamo assaggiato pizze, risotti , dolci, tutto meraviglioso. Lo consiglio vivamente, ambiente fresco, delizioso, all'aperto. Voto 10 e lode.

06/08/2025: Unprepared staff. I asked for an American coffee with cream and I received an espresso macchiato. I tried to explain politely. The girl was stern-faced and pretended not to understand. It's the only place in Val Venosta where I won't return and I've noticed the same attitude with other customers.

17/02/2025: Bistrot in pieno centro paese. Locale caldo, accogliente a volte molto affollato e ,di conseguenza i tavolini vengono addossati l’uno all’altro, Piatti, essenzialmente del territorio, ben cucinati. Servizio cortese e relativamente veloce. Prezzi decisamente alti.

24/02/2025: Locale situato in una posizione unica per lo splendido panorama che si può ammirare. Arredamento tradizionale e ben curato. Locale pulito e caldo. Servizio freddo e poso rispettoso. Cibo mediocre e prezzi ingiustificati.

21/02/2025: La maleducazione e l sfacciataggine regna in questo posto: tra le varie, la cameriera ha avuto da ridire ai nostri bimbi che avevano preso dei libri e un gioco che era lì vicino al nostro tavolo perché “non è per il ristorante”e glielo ha tolto. Mi chiedo se abbiano capito qualcosa dell’ospitalità.. inoltre, cibo mediocre.

17/02/2025: Unfriendly, incompetent and slow! Not recommended, we wanted to eat lunch with children and sat at a free table. We were ignored for more than 10 minutes, then the waiter came and said the table was reserved - he couldn't tell us in advance (other guests had). Didn't want to look for another table for us either, so we left again... PURE WASTE OF TIME!

11/07/2025: A superb hut with charm 😍 We were there on Wednesday for a music brunch - simply fantastic. The staff and host family were very friendly, despite the financial audit (of course, it has to be on a day like this 😡).

04/07/2025: The climb is worth it. A wonderful hike from Tall and back to Verdins, mostly through the forest. It gets quite steep towards the end. The shepherd's macaroni was very good. A large selection of food and drinks.
