05/04/2026: What a culinary delight! We had dinner at Restaurant Waldea and it was sensational. The food was incredibly delicious; you could taste that only the highest quality ingredients were used. The beef was world-class! We tried four different dishes in total, and each one was highly recommended! The spinach dumplings on coleslaw were heavenly. The terrace offers a breathtaking view of Merano, and the service was excellent. Thank you for a truly wonderful evening! We'll be back.

07/04/2026: How sad, elegance is no longer the norm... self-service with a buzz, "you should pay right away, please," "look, I'm not running away," dogs turned away, they can only be outside, but even outside, no table service. I used to frequent this place regularly since the old, classic, and beautiful Winkler pastry shop was there, but today it's become a cold and soulless place, the usual "production line." Yes, assembly line. No comment on the quality of the products, it's a bit of a disappointment anyway.
06/04/2026: Disappointing experience, especially as the café itself looks lovely. We’re vegetarian and ordered four cheese sandwiches, but were initially served tuna instead. After sending them back and waiting again, the same sandwiches were returned with the tuna simply removed. This was quite concerning from a dietary perspective, so it’s something vegetarians and vegans may want to be mindful of.

04/04/2026: We had a delicious speck & cheese platter, on their internal terrace, it was so nice and cosy! The staff was so friendly and attentive even in high season with a completely full house. We really had a lovely break while walking and shopping around town, my dog really appreciated the quiet corner. Perfect little cosy place!

05/01/2026: A lovely discovery...we stopped at this typical restaurant while passing through. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the dishes were all interesting. The daily menu also included some excellent fish dishes! I had delicious seafood spaghetti, and my mom had very good polenta and goulash!
Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back whenever we happen to pass by for lunch or dinner.

28/12/2025: I stopped in almost by chance for a quick salad, but I was pleasantly surprised. Besides the quality of their baked goods, I tried their pulled pork burger... and I must say, I was truly captivated!
The burger was very good, flavorful, and well-balanced, made with quality ingredients. It's also an excellent option for a quick but tasty lunch, not the typical "bakery" you might imagine.
A super positive experience, I'll definitely be back to try more.
15/12/2025: Nothing to say about coffee, pastries, desserts but very high prices I paid 3.5 for a beer, I had breakfast more than 5 euros... if I go I avoid and just have a coffee

20/02/2026: We had the cheese dumplings with salad from today's special. Absolutely delicious! To round it off, we also had the apple strudel with cream. We would definitely order both again. We'll gladly come back.

We had two cutlets and fries on the side... ZERO rating
€20 each!

01/03/2026: Best restaurant in Klausberg! Delightful service and amazing food 🙌. We got the Rib-eye and it was incredible.
23/02/2026: Top restaurant, right on the ski slope. We started with a warm octopus and then a local cut of meat, perfectly cooked. A great bonus: they serve wine by the glass, dispensed via a Coravin system. Everything was excellent, and the team was fantastic.

28/12/2025: We stopped by for an afternoon merenda and enjoyed dessert with coffee. The staff was genuinely friendly and welcoming.
I ordered the mousse alle castagne, which was really good and perfectly suited for a cozy afternoon treat.
The atmosphere can get a bit noisy, but it didn’t take away from the experience. We still enjoyed our time there.

31/01/2026: It's not a hotel, it's more of a B&B. There's no reception, so you have to make do with everything. Breakfast is served, but it's late, in my opinion. The rooms are somewhat comfortable. In short, there are some things that could be improved.
