04/05/2026: We ate here because all the other restaurants were full. I don't know if the waiter was also the owner, but he was really, really rude. He constantly scolded the Italian customers, and it was a bit of a strange dinner. He brought our appetizer AFTER the pasta. When we pointed this out, he rudely told us it was our fault and we had made a mess (???!!) The food quality was mediocre. We won't be back.

30/04/2026: A beautiful hotel nestled in the vineyards of South Tyrol. Excellent food, very friendly service, and a fantastic outdoor area. There's also an indoor swimming pool and saunas. I felt very comfortable.

12/02/2026: What can I say? A truly unique experience! We've known Hermann for a long time and are always blown away by his exceptional and incredibly generous dishes. All the dishes are fantastic! We recommend the Chef's macaroni as a first course, but the other dishes are sublime too. Main courses are superb! The desserts are incredible; you have to try them all! The prices are ridiculously low and the service is incredibly friendly and efficient!

23/01/2026: A picture-perfect mountain hut, beautifully and comfortably furnished. The food is truly excellent and unbeatable value for money. The dishes are cooked in the traditional South Tyrolean style – I've rarely had better dumplings. The service is friendly and attentive to guests' needs. There are two slides outside for children and some games available inside. The hike from the Wielental parking lot took less than an hour, and the trail could be used as a toboggan run on the way back. The hike offers stunning natural scenery and is definitely worth it!

25/12/2025: The property is truly splendid: rooms meticulously maintained, common areas such as pools, whirlpools, and a top-notch spa. The location is a bit far from the slopes, but the transfer service is convenient and well-organized. However, I would like to point out one aspect that I believe could be improved: the cost of water in the restaurant. A €6 bottle seems disproportionate to the actual price and risks leaving a negative impression. Personally, I would prefer to pay a little more for a suite than find myself spending such a high amount on an essential item. In many similarly sized properties, water is included or offered at more reasonable prices, and this helps make guests feel valued. I believe a small change in this direction could improve the overall perception and further increase guest loyalty.

24/12/2025: If you are up to 35 years old, have ability to think critically and value genuine care over golden show-off, avoid this Vanity Fair at all cost. - rooms are old, with no noise isolation -- you will hear other guests snoring and flushing the toilet and your own toilet will endlessly fill and drain water because the flush button gets stuck in the wall. But you will be surrounded by crystal and candelabra with Bvlgari cosmetics in the bathroom if you care about it. - if you happen to have any sort of the problem (e.g. family from the neighboring table can't control their kids and they run and scream all over the restaurant scaring your dog), stuff will ignore you and offer no help whatsoever - the five courses dinner is absolutely tasteless and same goes for the breakfast but there you also risk to get food poisoning. Also be ready that waiter will judge you for not knowing "this famous Italian pasta sauce" and the water you would be offered actually cost you 6 euros per bottle but you will know it only in the end. - stuff also provide no guidance on the hotel services that are included: you will need to search for the description of temperature in saunas on the last pages of spa brochure after long description of all paid services and there will be no bowls or treats in the room if you are coming with the dog. They can provide them but you need to ask -- is it a 5-star service after all? Overall this place is stuck in the 20th century with everything that modern generations hate about it: lookism (forget your hoodie and Crocs at home, go buy expensive evening gown), attitude to pets as they are things not family members and exclusivity instead of inclusivity (no vegan options on the dinner menu). Respect yourself and choose a better place where owners and stuff actually care about the guests.

07/03/2026: The local center of the universe. The complex has a restaurant, a minimarket, a ski service, a ski school, and a kids' club with supervised activities. Excellent organization.

15/02/2026: A very nice place with a wide selection of food. You can almost always find a seat on the terrace or inside. The selection of food and drinks is extensive. Burgers, pizza, pasta...

11/04/2026: We stayed two nights with two children, following a tour of Otzi, the ice mummy. What can I say? Top-notch hospitality, family-run. Rich breakfast buffet featuring local produce. Truly top-notch cuisine at a fair price, featuring excellent quality grilled meats, aged and grilled beautifully. Rooms aren't new, but they've been renovated, clean, and equipped with everything you need. The north side is very quiet, while the south side faces the busy road. Outdoor pool is currently being renovated. A few kilometers from Merano and the Schnalstal Valley. I've never tasted such delicious homemade dumplings; the cherry on top was homemade in alcohol. :) Thank you for your hospitality and congratulations on your commitment.

27/03/2026: Excellent steak, we come here often for that reason. The location isn't ideal, but the friendliness of the staff and the food make up for it. Highly recommended!

15/08/2025: We were dissatisfied for many reasons. First, the lady who served us wasn't particularly friendly. We felt like we weren't welcome, even though we entered the bakery an hour before closing time and practically everything had been stocked. Then we were offered rolls that were damaged and so hard the next day that they were inedible. I don't know what was being offered or what went wrong with them. An experienced salesperson could have pointed out to us that the goods were no longer fresh. Fortunately, there's still competition. We won't be back.

19/09/2025: We spent a wonderful, relaxing week visiting castles, churches, Marienberg Abbey, and discovering the Venosta Valley, rich in apple orchards. We enjoyed every moment spent with Melania (the owner), savored the food, and, despite being the only Italians in the hotel on some days, we managed to communicate with the table next to us, learning a few German phrases. We'll take home a wonderful memory. Thank you 😘 to the staff!

10/01/2026: I was just in Brixen by chance today and stopped here. I've never in my life had such a delicious cake (strawberry yogurt) and a nut croissant. Keep up the great work! ✌️😀
