18/06/2025: Nice hosts, located directly in Bozen Gries, beautiful garden terrace and pleasant ambience inside, large selection and top quality of delicious cakes and pastries, friendly staff, I can only recommend it.

12/06/2025: The good reviews and craving for pizza made us go to this place. Remote and not at all inviting from the outside, also more chilly than cozy inside. Still persevered and ordered pizzas. The result was that we went back the next day. Delicious pizzas, thin base, well topped and delicious in taste.

03/06/2025: I agree with previous reviews. The service wasn't unfriendly, but the friendliness was a different story. The atmosphere was OK. The prices were reasonable, but the menu prices didn't match the bill. The food was also incorrectly prepared, and something else was simply brought to the table, and the situation was only clarified upon request. If something isn't in stock, please explain it to the customer beforehand. The taste was okay. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it.

21/02/2025: The pizza is very good. The lady at the register refuses to take cards, she probably doesn't pay taxes. Pizza is expensive but very good. The pizza has a fluffy crust and is good to eat.

23/07/2025: Prachtige locatie, jammer van de service: - Pizza was prima (because Italy) - Schnitzel was middelmatig op z’n best.. Je mocht blij zijn dat het op een bord geserveerd werd, enkel een lap schnitzel en een beetje friet. Geen groente, garnering of iets van saus maar wel €23,- betalen. Met geluk nog een glaasje met sausjes in zakjes erbij gekregen. Was verder prima te eten. - Personeel is het meest onvriendelijke naar elkaar wat ik ooit heb gezien. Elkaar overmatig corrigeren in bijzijn van een klant. Bijvoorbeeld als je ergens wil gaan zitten, we werden gevraagd ergens anders te gaan zitten terwijl er nog maar 1 ander tafeltje bezet was. Ober liep de schenen onder z’n lijf vandaan om 4 tafels te bedienen van eten terwijl vrouwelijke collega enkel een wijntje uit serveerde en druk was met haar hard werkende collega te corrigeren. Laatste hap ging naar binnen terwijl het bord al gepakt werd, dit viel ons bij anderen al op en gebeurde ook bij ons, alsof ze er promotie op krijgen. Afrekenen moesten we blijkbaar voor naar binnen. Ik laat vrijwel nooit een recensie achter maar dit was er 1 voor in de boeken/verhalen op feestjes. Nog nooit zo opgelaten gegeten

19/07/2025: Siamo stati in questo ristorante per mangiare la pizza, essendo baresi e napoletani siamo molto esigenti😉Ampia scelta. Non ci aspettavamo una pizza così buona, ben condita e cotta a puntino. Locale accogliente con un servizio molto accurato Un plauso speciale ad Angela cortese professionale ed empatica. Ci torneremo con piacere e non è una minaccia😉

26/04/2025: Première chose, penser à réserver. Un acceuil sympatique, le patron parle Italien et Anglais. Le cadre est magnifique, nous étions dans la salle du bas sur un aquarium. Le personnel est sympathique et le service parfait. Le repas est bien sur à la hauteur, avec la carte et les plats du jours. C'est bien préparé, bon et copieux. Une excellente soirée.

02/04/2025: Wir waren hier Essen, nachdem wir zweimal in anderen Restaurants keinen Platz bekommen hatten. Die Karte war klein, was normalerweise nicht schlecht ist. Wir wollten etwas leichtes Vegetarisches essen. Da blieb dann nicht leider nicht viel übrig auf der Karte. Die Spargellasagne war dann fast geschmacklos und Spargel gar nicht zu entdecken. Die ist allerdings auch schwer so zu kochen, dass sie gut schmeckt. Hätte ich daher hier auch normalerweise nicht bestellt. Aber in Ermangelung von Alternativen, war das leider die einzige Option. Wer gern schwer und fleischlastig ist und auch Hamburger und Steak schätzt, könnte hier gut aufgehoben sein.

17/07/2025: We went in and enjoyed an aperitif....I noticed that in this region it's not customary to give small appetizers with the aperitif, only chips and not even peanuts...the place is splendid...very kind staff...everything well displayed...very spacious and well-kept. There's no adjacent parking, not even for the disabled...but you get there slowly...and it's worth it... I highly recommend it.

01/07/2025: We booked a table for four people at lunchtime for dinner. We were presented with a small menu that evening, explaining that the chef was on vacation. They could have said that at lunchtime, too. For four people, the plates arrived at three different times. The fries were soft. The schnitzel was dripping with grease, which spread all over the plate. The salad didn't come with any dressing. The whole thing was careless.

The menu advertised at the table says €16... €11/13 for the second course only... €11 for the first course only Then you have to add water €2.20, coffee €1, and the buffet available for side dishes €5 (not indicated), basically 1 first course with side dish, water, and coffee = €20... a far cry from the €16 menu advertised at the table... in my opinion, MENU €16 means everything you need for lunch... thank goodness they didn't count the bread... they must have forgotten... They're NOT dishonest... they're just SMART

25/06/2025: We had a pleasant stay at the hotel in Bozen. The owners were friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The location is excellent, situated right in the heart of the city, with the city center just a short walk away. The rooms are simple but very clean and well-maintained. While the hotel isn't the most modern, it is clearly cared for with pride and attention to detail. Breakfast was also simple but fresh and satisfying—just right to start the day. Our room even featured a small balcony, which was a lovely spot to enjoy a quiet moment. Although there is no air conditioning, the provided fan kept us relatively comfortable at night. The hotel is located in a lively and diverse neighborhood that has its own unique flair and energy. Overall, it is a bit pricey, but that's common in all of Bozen.

08/06/2025: Clean, comfortable, acceptable, wish I had more budget for a better place but it’s still good. The gentleman manning the hotel is very nice, polite and understanding.

16/06/2025: Five stars for the aperol spritz because it tasted very good, in other places we drank it was less intense, cost 6 euros, service was very nice

17/07/2025: The food was really good, freshly prepared, and very satisfying in taste. The value for money was good. The service deserves special mention: friendly, attentive, and personable, which made the stay very pleasant. A real highlight was the view of the Schlern, simply stunning and definitely a reason to return!

08/07/2025: A rustic hut on the mountain. After a strenuous hike up here, a cool drink and hearty food are just what you need. The staff is friendly. The dishes are typical of a hut and taste really good. We've been there several times and have never been disappointed.

02/07/2025: Keep your eyes open when stopping at this hut! The prices on the ice cream menu suddenly no longer match the prices listed on the menu when paying (they charged €1 more per ice cream)! If you order a small drink, you get a large one and, of course, pay for it! The macchiatone I ordered (coffee with a little more milk) was unfortunately just a macchiato (with less milk), but I paid for the macchiatone I ordered! When I complained, I was thanked for the feedback, but I doubt anything will change!
