For anyone seeking nature, tranquility, and genuine South Tyrolean hospitality, the Zirmtal Alm is a true hidden gem. After my last visit, which was rather late for the time of year and the weather was deteriorating, the lovely Max (the innkeeper) called my accommodation to check on my safe arrival. I always love coming back!

A beautiful alpine pasture in a stunning location! The host is extremely friendly, the food delicious, the surrounding scenery is stunning, and Lake Zirmtal is simply a highlight. Highly recommended!

Excellent and delicious food, a uniquely beautiful location, very friendly people, and a very rustic and cozy cabin. And very affordable, even though everything has to be carried uphill with some effort. The hiking trail up is simply breathtaking, about two hours from the Säge parking lot.

11/04/2026: The hotel is truly beautiful, tidy, and even has an elevator, allowing you to come and go at any time. The breakfast is exceptional, and the food is divine!
07/04/2026: Good restaurant with own brewery. Very modern building and overall nice space. Comfortable parking in front of the building. Not necessary to book in advance. Kind staff. Average pizza and other dishes. Good bier. Fair price.

19/11/2025: The staff is always very friendly and fast, which is not a given these days. The pizzas are always better. The food isn't overwhelming, but there's enough to suit every taste, and what's available is always excellent. I find the prices fair, not low but not excessive either. Let's just say that if they increased even a little, I'd turn up my nose, but I'd gladly return.
