02/04/2025: Ci vado sempre quando passo per Merano, ottimo chioschetto! Fanno principalmente panini, würstel, patatine, hamburger, ma si può trovare anche la zuppa di gulash e la pasta. Io consiglio di provare i meraner wurst che sono lunghissimi, molto buona anche l’insalata di patate! Bravi torneremo sempre!❤️

10/05/2025: A little dated environment but I was surprised by the deliciousness of the dumplings I ate. As they say, sometimes appearances can be deceiving. Very welcoming and polite staff. I will definitely go back. I highly recommend a stop.

12/05/2025: Michaela and Ewald run the Johannserhof farm with simplicity, passion and a lot of love for their land. It is a magical, authentic place, where you can observe South Tyrol up close, from the eyes of those who live it every day cultivating the land and raising animals. All their products are homemade, the management is completely family-run, attention is paid to every little detail. The internal Stube is simply wonderful and smells like home. Treat yourself and visit this unique place for an autumn Törggelen!

08/06/2025: The restaurant is a short 20-minute walk away. The location is stunning, right on the lake. This family-run business, with its restaurant and beach, exudes friendly service. Whether at the drinks counter, ordering food, or at the checkout for the lido – smiles and friendly words are everywhere. The food is homely, and for hikers and four-wheelers, there are salads, pasta dishes, and other Tyrolean specialties at very reasonable prices. The numerous local guests are testament to the good cuisine, the excellent location, and the pleasant surroundings. Pure relaxation is the order of the day at the lake, with its beautiful water, lovely bathing jetties, and well-maintained lawns. It's not overcrowded; renting a parasol for €3 and a lounger for €5 is perfect—especially since the equipment is very well maintained. Popping into the restaurant is no problem; everyone at the checkout immediately recognizes each other because you are noticed. The food arrives quickly, is freshly prepared, and the kitchen is open, so you can see how it's being prepared. Our salad was excellent, with many different varieties such as leaf lettuce, fresh carrots and celery, potatoes, etc., and it came with tuna and olives for 12 euros, a portion for both of us. Drink prices are great, not a tourist rip-off. If you're looking for a cool swim in nature (no beach music, by the way, just the sound of birdsong) and a good meal, you shouldn't go to Lake Kaltern. This is pure vacation.

05/01/2025: Never eaten such good panettone! This Christmas we tasted the one with 3 chocolates, pistachio and of course, pandoro. Truly everything delicious. During the summer we love getting their ice creams to take away. In addition to the friendliness and courtesy of the owners, the family environment and the quality of their products are greatly appreciated. Highly recommended!!!

05/05/2025: Siamo finiti qui dopo la visita al lago di Carezza, il locale è molto vicino al parcheggio. Il cibo offerto è semplice ma gustoso, le pappardelle al ragù di cervo erano molto buone e gustose!

07/01/2025: Io e il mio ragazzo siamo andati al Lago di Carezza nei primi giorni di dicembre e abbiamo avuto la fortuna che da quando siamo arrivati a quando ci siamo spostati per venire a mangiare in questo ristorante, ha nevicato. È stato meraviglioso. Come è stato meraviglioso gustare con piacere i piatti della zona. Io ho preso le pappardelle al ragù di cervo, ottimi!! Il mio ragazzo degli gnocchi di polenta anch’essi molto buoni. Apprezzati i dolci se non sbaglio fatti in casa. Location carinissima. Il personale è stato cordiale fino all’ultimo. Se abitassi in zona sicuramente ci tornerei. Complimenti a tutti compreso lo/gli chef!!!❤️👩‍🍳

22/04/2025: Overall, everything is fine, but during the bird of prey show, construction fences are raised through which you can't see the mountains. In addition, 1/4 of the house wine costs 9 euros which is just too much. So we won't be coming back.

30/01/2025: The perfect viewpoint of Meran and the Adige Valley, accompanied by delicious food, a cold beer and great hosts. If I were a holidaymaker and not a local, then this would be the best place to relax in the nice apartments and enjoy the peace and quiet. Bravo to the team
