22/11/2025: The potato ribs are excellent, thinly sliced ​​potatoes that become nice and crispy. For appetizers, both the tirtl and potato and sauerkraut fritters are very good. Make sure to reserve a table because it's very small and almost always full.

17/04/2026: Fantastic restaurant. My daughter and I spent Easter hiking in South Tyrol and stayed at the Hotel Walder in Schenna. We did some research online and then booked a table at Mair for Good Friday. The service was excellent and everyone was in great spirits. It was a pleasure. The menu is extensive, with something for everyone; I even had calf's liver, which was absolutely delicious. My daughter especially enjoyed the extensive asparagus menu. We ended up eating there every evening except Saturday (which was unfortunately their day off). But we definitely have to go back; the menu is still quite long. The prices are also very reasonable. At the end of our holiday, as almost regular customers, we were given a delicious bottle of wine as a parting gift – very nice indeed! :-)

15/04/2026: The bread and toppings (such as grilled vegetables, salad, onions, etc.) were very fresh and delicious! For a snack bar on the shopping street, it's a great place to eat at the small standing tables in front. You can also eat and order under the covered area in the entrance to the building to the right.

09/04/2026: One of the best kebabs in pita bread we've ever had. Juicy, fresh, good pita bread, chicken and veal skewer. Delicious sauce and friendly service. We've now had this experience twice in a row (with a year in between). Very good. Pizza? Wasn't nearly as good. Doner kebab: superb.

26/03/2026: We had a very nice, cozy evening; the pizza was delicious and there was a great selection of beers. I would recommend this place to everyone.

23/03/2026: Excellent service, excellent food, excellent location. The waiter was relaxed, friendly, and had that typical Italian charm. The restaurant is very beautiful and stylish. Our steak was outstanding, and the wine recommendation was also excellent.

22/02/2026: We can't say we ate badly, but being made fun of is... the very distracted waiter brought the wrong appetizer and then changed it, but in the meantime I was eating and my wife was watching me. We ordered half a liter of house wine and no one told us that they only served wine by the glass at a price of more than €5 each, then we had a coffee. I asked for the bill and paid trustingly... when we got home we realized that the coffees on the bill were 2 and that the half liter of wine cost us more than €20... dishonest, never to see you again

10/12/2025: Perfect for anyone who wants to unwind after a day at work. The bar is informal, has excellent food at reasonable prices, great music, excellent everything, and above all, it stays open late. It's so impossible to find a place open in the evening in Bolzano. I finish work at 10:00 PM and half the city is already dead. This bar is truly a blessing.

06/01/2026: An excellent experience at Zur Kaiserkron. The elegant and refined restaurant boasts professional staff who are attentive without ever being intrusive. The cuisine is top-quality, with sophisticated dishes and pairings that offer a true sensory journey, always in keeping with the seasonality of the menu. The quality-price ratio is amazing for what's on offer. Kudos to the entire staff; highly recommended.

03/01/2026: Wonderful hotel! This was our third time spending New Year's Eve here – 7 nights of absolute relaxation. Super friendly team. Fantastic cuisine. Perfect service. We feel very comfortable and in excellent hands. Thank you for the wonderful time. Highly recommended.

25/12/2025: We spent a wellness weekend at the Alpiana. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, especially the spa area, which is truly beautiful. The saunas are fantastic, the infusions were always a wonderful experience, and the view is breathtaking. One minor criticism: the rooftop pool was a bit too cold for our liking, so we couldn't stay in it for very long. A few degrees warmer would have made it much more pleasant. Unfortunately, we were less impressed with the vegan options. The hotel heavily promotes itself as vegan-friendly and claims to offer many vegan alternatives. However, our experience only partially confirmed this. The main courses at dinner, in particular, seemed somewhat unimaginative on both evenings – mostly vegetables, very little protein, and generally lacking in variety. There's so much more potential here, especially since vegan cuisine can be so creative. There wasn't even a vegan option for the afternoon cake, which we found disappointing considering the website's presentation. It's a bit misleading. All in all, the stay was very enjoyable, especially thanks to the superb spa area. However, we see room for improvement when it comes to vegan food.

29/09/2025: If you feel like a little treat, I’d definitely recommend grabbing a scoop or two of gelato here. It was so good that I completely forgot to take a picture of it. I also didn’t take any photos of the place itself because it was packed with people, and I didn’t want to bother anyone. Both are pretty positive “problems” to have!

18/12/2025: An absolutely exceptional place, a hotel with top-notch service and a unique family atmosphere. We're just reminiscing about last year's December ski trip and plan to repeat it. I highly recommend it.

08/12/2025: The hotel is suitable for both those who want to relax and those who enjoy activities like skiing or hiking. Wonderful views, exceptional food, friendly and always helpful staff. The only flaw is the bathroom. Really tiny.

Good breakfast with sweet and savory options and fruit, with average quality. Simple, functionally furnished rooms with balconies. Free parking nearby. Good value for money.

30/01/2026: This place is worth a visit for its location and breathtaking panoramic view of Appiano from above. We enjoyed the entree with their salted butter and speck! The menu is limited, but of excellent quality. A good selection of wines is also available. I highly recommend it.

03/01/2026: The guest is not king, but the hotel management is. During our New Year's Eve stay, the following incident occurred: Upon arrival, we were informed that our booked and paid half-board for New Year's Eve would be canceled because the hotel only offered a six-course menu for two people for €320, which wasn't initially a problem. However, when we then wanted to see the menu and the individual courses, we unfortunately discovered that we didn't like 50% of the dishes because we don't eat fish. This is when the problems began. We wanted an alternative for each of the individual courses, but unfortunately, none was available. We either had to accept the menu as presented or were strongly advised to eat elsewhere on New Year's Eve. From this point on, the hotel abandoned us. We tried to get a table elsewhere, but of course, that didn't work so close to New Year's Eve. No one seemed to care about us anymore. New Year's Eve unfolded as follows: we spent the evening in our room without eating and went out briefly at midnight to watch the fireworks, and that was it. We had booked a lovely evening with a good meal, but our short break was ruined, and we ended up more stressed than if we had stayed home. I find it completely unacceptable that we weren't even offered an alternative to the set menu and were therefore not welcome on the very evening we had traveled and paid for. When we brought this up with the manager, we only received various excuses, which unfortunately didn't help at all, except that we left early. We also overheard other guests who disapproved of this approach. In short: don't stay at this hotel if you have a special occasion coming up, otherwise, you might experience something like what happened to us. On a positive note, the chef is truly skilled, and the dishes were perfectly balanced and delicious. The staff was also very attentive.

07/12/2025: Very nice, warm, and welcoming restaurant. There were five of us, and we all ate pizza. It was very good, with very thin crust and excellent toppings. We then had traditional apple and cinnamon strudel, a huge piece, truly delicious, and then the tiramisu, also delicious! Highly recommended ☺️
