This is the third time we've been here and the magic of the Lodenwirt doesn't wear off. The food is unique…really unique. everything made with a lot of love, attentive with a clear penchant for perfection. The excellent service, the first-class menus and a beautiful wellness area leave nothing to be desired. The breakfast buffet is varied. The family rooms are in the annex building about 50m above the parking lot. That's not quite ideal in the evenings in winter after the spa. About 20 minutes to Kronplatz by car. Overall, we were very satisfied and can recommend the hotel, simply because of the perfect service.

Ci siamo fermati per caso di ritorno dalla vacanza a San Candido e direi assolutamente consigliato. Pizza molto buona, con impasto integrale eccezionale e uno strudel fatto in casa ottimo….. Servizio veloce e personale molto gentile. Ci torneremo. Grazie.

Worth a detour, go there! Unfortunately it's almost always fully booked, but in an emergency you can sit at the counter with two people.

04/04/2024: Remember that this is the hotel refuge of the family of the great Italian tennis player SINNER, his father, a chef, and his mother, a waitress, work here. Since Jannik has excelled at the top of the world rankings, this place has become almost a national monument and many go even just to take a photo, it will be very difficult to find a place unless you book well in advance. Now the father is no longer the restaurant chef because Jannik has chosen him as his personal chef, so now he travels with him to various tournaments around the world. On the photo on the site, of all the workers in the Fondovalle refuge, you will also find the photo of father HansPeter and mother Siglinde. Jannik seems to have grown up as a child, here, in Sesto, in this very hotel, while his parents worked.
