The food served here is simply fantastic. There's something for every palate, and the service is top-notch.

Fantastic restaurant. My daughter and I spent Easter hiking in South Tyrol and stayed at the Hotel Walder in Schenna. We did some research online and then booked a table at Mair for Good Friday. The service was excellent and everyone was in great spirits. It was a pleasure. The menu is extensive, with something for everyone; I even had calf's liver, which was absolutely delicious. My daughter especially enjoyed the extensive asparagus menu. We ended up eating there every evening except Saturday (which was unfortunately their day off). But we definitely have to go back; the menu is still quite long. The prices are also very reasonable. At the end of our holiday, as almost regular customers, we were given a delicious bottle of wine as a parting gift – very nice indeed! :-)

An absolute highlight in Schenna! We were once again completely thrilled with our visit to Mair Stub'M. We've been regulars for 10 years now. The food was outstanding – especially the Wiener Schnitzel and the homemade Kaiserschmarrn, which are a must-try! You can taste the quality of the regional ingredients in every bite. Despite the restaurant being packed, the service was incredibly friendly, attentive, and extremely well-organized. We particularly enjoyed the view from the terrace; the panoramic view of the Alps is simply breathtaking and creates a wonderful atmosphere. The value for money is unbeatable for this quality. We will definitely be back! Tip: Be sure to make a reservation in advance, as the restaurant is very popular for good reason.

Excellent food at reasonable prices. Generous portions, very tasty.

We went there on a recommendation during our autumn holiday and didn't enjoy it very much. We had to wait a while because it was very crowded – if you haven't made a reservation like we did, that's fine, but we didn't feel welcome and nobody paid any attention to us. Once we were seated, the service was okay. Junior was happy with his shepherd's macaroni, which was more like Bolognese pasta, but we adults found the food rather average. In short: You can eat better in Schenna.
