25/10/2025: After the via ferrata at the Stuller Waterfalls, we had lunch on the wonderful terrace. (The kitchen is open all day.) The best Schlutzkrapfen (scraps) we've had in ages, perfect chanterelle dumplings, and fantastic desserts. Very friendly service. Thank you!

15/10/2025: During a cycling break, we had a fantastic lunch. Simply perfect, sensational cuisine. Compliments. 5 stars. The service was, of course, impeccable too. We'd love to come back.

15/08/2025: Freshly squeezed orange juice and the most delicious bruschetta we've ever eaten! Plus, you sit under old vaulted ceilings above the Passer River. It's truly pleasant on hot days. We loved it here!

03/08/2025: Thank you so much for the warm welcome and the wonderful accommodation with the wonderful view of Tirolo and Merano. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed the time at the pool and playground with our daughter. The service and warmth made the holiday absolutely perfect. The hotel's location is special; although it's outside of town, it's wonderfully peaceful and offers direct access to the nearby hiking trails. We would love to come back.

06/10/2025: A great tip for cake and tart lovers. Lots of unique cake creations. The idea of ​​offering several smaller pieces for tasting is a good one. Wally's recipe books are also very interesting and motivating to try them yourself. We really enjoyed them.

28/09/2025: The three weeks we spent at the Oberpfaffstallerhof flew by. We had a very clean, tastefully, and modernly furnished apartment with a panoramic window, a small terrace, and a magnificent view of the Dolomites. We thoroughly enjoyed the regional delicacies lovingly prepared by Margit at fair prices, which were charmingly served by Othmar. We're already looking forward to spending our vacation at the Oberpfaffstallerhof again, already booked for 2026, in the special, family-friendly atmosphere.

26/09/2025: I've never eaten such good South Tyrolean cuisine. Everything was excellent. The trio of dumplings and Kaiserschmarrn were out of this world!

05/10/2025: We were spontaneously rebooked into this hotel after needing a last-minute overnight stay on our return journey. Luckily for us, it was a 4-star hotel. Both inside and out, the hotel impressed us with a perfect blend of comfort and warmth, as well as modernity and cleanliness. We were given a cute room with three beds, all of which were perfectly located. Early in the morning, we were even allowed to use the spa area on the first floor, which was truly fantastic. I have never seen such a beautifully designed area. Someone had really put a lot of thought into it. We received a warmer welcome at breakfast than we have ever received. The staff member acted more like a friend and knew all the guests by name. We felt wonderfully well looked after and were treated with healthy drinks, Bavarian sausages, and great attention. There is a huge selection: gluten-free products, oat milk and lactose-free milk, five different juices, eggs boiled for 5, 7, or 10 minutes, or scrambled. Everyone received a sheet with the latest information on the program, weather, news... We were absolutely thrilled. A very inviting, luxurious hotel, which is definitely a great place to stay in winter, especially when combined with skiing. We also really enjoyed the beautiful view of the surrounding forest! Parking was also available directly at the hotel :)

27/08/2025: A very nice hotel with a superb location on the edge of the village with direct access to the mountains. Very friendly, attentive staff; you can tell it's owner-managed. The evening menus are a dream! The price is quite high, but you get the corresponding quality. We'll be back as soon as we can!

19/09/2025: This was the best hotel we stayed in while in the dolomites. Very friendly staff, good included breakfast (especially for northern Italy). The wellness center/saunas and hot tubs were perfect after long days hiking. Thanks!

09/09/2025: Excellent property with convenient parking, a great location, and impeccable cleanliness. I can't find the right words to describe the kindness and attentiveness of all the staff. The outdoor pool is an incredible plus with mountain views, and so is the wellness center! I personally didn't like the massage I had, but that's really the only minor flaw. However, in such a high-end hotel, I hope it serves not as a criticism, but as a source of improvement. I will definitely return and highly recommend it to everyone, seniors, families, and couples!

His professionalism and warm attitude made me feel right at home. It’s rare to meet someone who genuinely cares about guests’ comfort the way he does. Thank you, Igli, for your outstanding service and kindness you truly made my stay memorable. I highly recommend this hotel and hope to return soon!

Note that the standard Italian three-pronged plug doesn't work here, so the front desk staff provided us with an adapter. I recommend the half-board option. The hotel is located on a hill, and the access road is narrow and a bit difficult for cars, making access difficult. However, the hotel's own food is excellent. The alpacas are adorable and very approachable; a must-see if you're visiting. The downside is that the room amenities are quite basic, especially the very slow Wi-Fi.

23/09/2025: Fantastic little wine bar. We tried a couple of wines, both delicious and reasonably priced (about €6 each). Service was great, atmosphere exactly what you want for an evening wine before dinner. They also have other drinks for those who don’t feel like wine. Highly recommend!

03/09/2025: The waiter is super friendly and fun to chat to. He had great knowledge of wine and told us about how speck is made. Loved the small nibbles provided with the wine. Highly recommend!

03/10/2025: We stayed at Garni Miriam for a friend's wedding and had a wonderful time! The room was impeccably clean, as was the breakfast room with a generous buffet and very kind owners. The bar was welcoming and the location was beautiful, convenient for getting to the main attractions. We'll be back! From the sea to the mountains! Thank you 👏

27/09/2025: I spent a wonderful week hiking at Garni Miriam. The single room is very nice and clean. The bathroom is in an alcove without a door, but that wasn't a problem. All balconies have stunning views of the mountains. The hosts are very friendly and provide lots of tips. The breakfast is very good and plentiful. You can end the day wonderfully on the large terrace or in the lovely bar. Those arriving by train and bus enjoy free travel from Brenner with the Mobilcard. However, there is a steep path from the town. My tip: Drive to Fontanacia, get off at Ciastel Colz on the way down. Then it's fine. I will definitely come back.
