Our visit was a 10/10. The wait staff was amazing and gave great recommendations. The food was incredible and wine was exceptional. Would definitely recommend.

Just had a superb lunch at La Posta - sitting in the lovely little outside terrace at the rear. Great food (local dishes) and service.

Welcoming atmosphere, typical local location. Attentive, courteous, and fast service. Good cuisine, traditional dishes of good quality and presentation....I would have liked to see more Italian meats, though (not Argentine or non-Italian meats). On the menu, and for some dishes like the tagliolini, I recommend enhancing the game ragù even more.

Over the season we found ourselves going back to La Posta quite a few times, which probably says it all. From the first visit we were made to feel really welcome — especially with two young kids in tow, which isn’t always a given. It became our go-to spot whenever family came to visit. The food was consistently delicious and felt properly homemade. And in the words of our children, the chicken nuggets are “the best in the world” — high praise indeed. Roassario, the owner, always made time for a chat and shared some great local wine knowledge, which added to the whole experience. A really lovely, reliable place we’ll miss.

Everything was delicious. Had the angus steak and black truffle gnocchi. Our server took the time to talk to us about the area and answer all of our questions.

La Posta was our very first impression of Santa Cristina after a long drive into the Dolomites — and what a perfect welcome it was. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was relaxed and genuinely warm. After hours on the road, it felt like arriving somewhere that immediately puts you at ease. The owner has a natural, welcoming presence — attentive without hovering, friendly without being forced. You feel looked after in the most effortless way. The food quality is exceptional. We didn’t have any meat dishes, which makes it even more impressive: the pasta was perfectly cooked and deeply flavorful, the ingredients clearly top quality, and every plate showed precision and care. Even the simplest elements — bread, olive oil, desserts — reflected attention to detail and respect for tradition. La Posta combines refinement with comfort in a way that feels authentic rather than staged. It set the tone for our entire stay in Santa Cristina — and we couldn’t have wished for a better first lunch. Highly recommended.
