Adler Stube In Villabassa

I stayed for a week in early March with a France Outdoors snowshoeing holiday. Our group were highly impressed with the hotel, its staff and facilities. As a family run hotel the emphasis is on quality and service. The extensive wine list, delicious food , quality tableware and warm atmosphere ensure an enjoyable and memorable vacation.

We were part of an Exodus group and stayed at this hotel in February 2024 for a week. It was a fantastic experience, the staff are exceptional as is the quality of the food. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to friends for a winter or summer holiday.

Weekly stay in February 2024, beautiful, atmospheric hotel, with respect and attention to history, incorporated into historic interiors. Just moving around it is a lesson in history and style, class and style. At the very beginning we are greeted by a light lemon note dispersed in the air, a great bar, excellent cuisine, the dishes served at dinner are a delight for the palate. The wine cellar will provide an amazing experience. Although the hotel is far from the ski lifts, it did not cause any problem - it is just a few steps away from the train station, which allows us to get quickly and easily to Helm and Kronplatz. Charming restaurant located near the splendid Lake Braies. We enjoyed two radicchio starters, excellent seasonal vegetables and two truly excellent local first courses. The location is very well looked after and particular. Advised.

We stayed in this hotel as part of a group on a snow shoeing holiday. It has been excellent, the food is plentiful & all delicious, there is a huge choice at breakfast. The staff at the hotel were very attentive and always friendly- we felt very welcome. Bedrooms are warm with super comfy beds. There is a spa & pool area which others from our group enjoyed. Access to some stunning areas of the Dolomites is easy.

Everything is perfect, in my opinion there is a lack of real orange juice at breakfast.... Also, you have to pay for tap water during meals, which seems limited to me, otherwise, tutti bene...

Fantastic food, wonderful staff, such a lovely surprise on our winter holiday. Traditional decoration, beautifully done. Food modern twist on traditional. Staff couldn't have been more helpful, and were a credit to the hotel. Room clean, well appointed and a very comfy bed. Great pool and wellness area. Would go to stay there again in a heartbeat.

Abbiamo rischiato fermandoci senza prenotare per pranzo, il personale è stato estremamente gentile e disponibile. Abbiamo pranzato con due risotti veramente buoni e una tartare in due preparata al tavolo: tutto davvero buono. Servizio veloce e conto assolutamente in linea. Assolutamente consigliato! Abbiamo già messo in nota di vedere anche come sono le camere di hotel!

Beautiful hotel! Absolutely amazing service, super friendly staff, stunning food, and lovely rooms. Couldn't have asked for a better stay! Perfect place for a relaxing break, but well located to go out and explore the Dolomites, and local towns. Highly recommend :)

A Villabassa, in centro, nella piazza principale, c’è questo ristorante annesso al miglior albergo del paese. In tutto il Sudtirol è tradizione consolidata che i migliori ristoranti siano quelli abbinati agli alberghi e questo non fa eccezione. Il locale, da poco restaurato, è sempre raffinato e accogliente, caldo come solo il legno antico di cui è fatto, lo può essere. Menù molto interessante con offerta tradizionale ma con ampie rivisitazioni e modernizzazioni. L’artefice di questa sinfonia è Helen, la moglie del titolare, Christian Pircher, penultimo discendente di una lunghissima dinastia di albergatori (ma forse locandieri sarebbe più adatto): ci sono già pronte le giovani generazioni che scalpitano per mettersi in gioco. Helen ha saputo ben reinterpretare la cucina tradizionale locale in maniera coraggiosa e moderna: il risultato è sempre eccellente. E per i più curiosi, i segreti della cucina di Helen si possono scoprire leggendo il bel libro scritto da lei stessa. Consigliatissimo la tartare di bovino che viene preparata scrupolosamente sotto gli occhi dei commensali dall’espertissimo Luciano, piatto che viene proposta tra gli antipasti ma che può essere anche un ottimo secondo. Carta dei vini lunghissima e pregiatissima. Purtroppo si sceglie quasi sempre solo una bottiglia, rinunciando al resto. Ci ritornerò sicuramente, se non prima, almeno nello stesso giorno, nello stesso tavolo e con la stessa moglie (se continuerà a sopportarmi) per festeggiare un altro anniversario di nozze.
