We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The food was excellent and varied. The staff was always friendly, helpful, and attentive. We especially enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pools, both of which were impeccably maintained and perfect for relaxation. The room was spotless, and the large balcony was a real highlight. The hotel bar also impressed us with its good selection of drinks and pleasant atmosphere. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel and would gladly return.

A perfect hotel, superbly equipped rooms, exceptionally friendly and attentive staff, outstanding cuisine from breakfast to the afternoon cake and fruit buffet, to the six-course dinner – it was always excellent. The spa area is beautiful and very spacious, and the fitness room boasts an unusually comprehensive range of equipment. Furthermore, the hotel's elaborate decor throughout all floors and in the grand lobby is truly remarkable – one can only marvel at the meticulous attention to detail and the fact that no expense has been spared. Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten comes highly recommended.

While the exterior appears somewhat dated, the hotel boasts a conservative elegance inside, featuring a great deal of handcrafted carpentry. We had a state-of-the-art room with a private whirlpool on the terrace. The three pools, the beautifully landscaped grounds, and the exceptionally delicious cuisine are particularly noteworthy. Both breakfast and dinner offered truly extraordinary creations – I would even award the dinner a Michelin star. The staff is also exceptionally friendly and attentive.

We stayed at the Hotel Vierjahreszeiten over Pentecost weekend. It was absolutely fantastic – a wonderful atmosphere and a top location. The food was simply exquisite; it was a pure pleasure to sit at the table and be pampered. We were very satisfied in every respect, surrounded by friendly, cheerful, and competent staff – highly recommended. Even our four-legged companion, Ukin, felt right at home. The perfect vacation for those looking to unplug for a few days. My boyfriend and I loved it!! From the location to the rooms, the pools, and the saunas. But first things first! The receptionists and staff were wonderful, smiling, and the room was clean, fragrant, and above all, tidy. The outdoor pools were a bit chilly, while the indoor pools were very hot! I assure you, you'll be spoiled for choice when it comes to Turkish baths and saunas, all scented with lavender and menthol salts. The bar makes delicious cocktails, especially the non-alcoholic ones. I found them spectacular: the apricot, pineapple, and passion fruit—wow! A truly refined location, not to mention the attentive and friendly table service. The buffet was rich and delicious. The dishes were not only beautiful to look at, but also delicious to eat. At breakfast, you'll be spoiled for choice, with both sweet and savory options—you can really indulge! Their cappuccino is delicious and frothy! Try it! Apart from that, we can say that we had a great time and will definitely be back for another romantic getaway like this.

25/03/2026: A true Tyrolean tale tucked into the mountains. This restaurant is less about dining and more about experiencing local heritage, lovingly run by a local family in one of the oldest houses in the region. For me, it was magical, a charming little hut with breathtaking views of a nearby monastery. The meal unfolded beautifully: a generous cheese board to start, followed by delicate spinach ravioli, and then a comforting cabbage dish served with rustic local bread. Dessert was simply exquisite. The only missing note was music, the space is so intimate and quiet that you can easily hear neighboring tables, which takes away slightly from the atmosphere. I personally loved the experience. That said, my husband and kids didn’t enjoy it as much. It’s far better suited for a romantic evening or a special night out with girlfriends rather than a family dinner.

20/05/2026: We came by chance during the week without a reservation. We were immediately greeted by a very kind waitress. An excellent dinner featuring local products. The cured meats were truly excellent, as were the spinach dumplings stuffed with cheese. But the game tagliatelle were the best I've ever had. The apple fritters were delicious, soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. The lemon and mint sorbet was a real treat. In short, if you're looking for a traditional Tyrolean dinner, definitely stop by Durnwald. The restaurant is also mentioned in the 2026 Michelin Guide.
09/05/2026: My family and I came to this restaurant almost by chance, as it was close to the house where we were staying for a weekend. We were surprised to discover that it's listed in the 2026 Michelin Guide, so our expectations were very high... and after dinner, we can say they were far exceeded. You immediately sense that this is a family-run restaurant, where passion and care for their work are genuine. The cuisine manages to combine high-quality ingredients with the abundance and warmth typical of a traditional osteria. The service began with a small tasting on the house: veal with tuna sauce accompanied by a salad, truly rich in flavor. Next, we tried the venison goulash with polenta, red cabbage, and mushrooms: intense yet perfectly balanced flavors. The egg tagliatelle with venison and mushroom ragù was exceptional, with all the authentic flavor of the game and fresh, flavorful mushrooms, not at all watery. The spinach dumplings on a sheet of mountain cheese are also excellent, a dish that truly embodies the local tradition. To conclude, the apple fritters with vanilla ice cream: a true delight for the palate. The prices are absolutely fair and commensurate with the quality of the dishes and the experience. We highly recommend it: a true South Tyrolean gem.
