We spontaneously decided to visit this restaurant for the first time on a Sunday evening and still managed to get a table quickly. The service was very friendly and attentive, and the wait for our food was pleasantly short.
The food was excellent overall. We had the schnitzel, spinach ravioli, a side salad, panna cotta, and apple strudel. Everything was delicious and prepared with great care. The schnitzel, in particular, was the most delicious we've ever eaten – perfectly cooked and simply outstanding in flavor.
We did deduct a point for the prices. While the quality was excellent, we found the overall price level a bit high. For example, we felt that over €6 for a wheat beer with cola was quite expensive.
Nevertheless, we had a very pleasant experience and would gladly return. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates good food, high quality, and friendly service.

Exquisitely prepared, authentic food in a beautiful setting with superb service.
The accompanying holiday apartment is truly exceptional: spacious and generously equipped with every amenity, brand new, with high-quality furnishings, spotlessly clean, and then there's that magnificent view of the Schlern mountain! The friendliness and attentiveness of the hostess are reflected in every detail: from the hiking maps that were immediately provided, to the abundance of towels and dishes, and the availability of assistance at any time, to the helpfulness of everyone at Paulserhof, we can't find a single thing that needs changing.
We had an excellent dinner here in a very relaxed atmosphere. Our table was nice and quiet in a kind of courtyard. The food and service were top-notch. We will definitely come back.

We dined there on Good Friday and Easter Sunday, a party of four. The prices were on the higher end but reasonable. On Good Friday, there was a separate menu with excellent fish dishes. The plaice was fantastic. Unfortunately, the potato salad tasted like it came from a store. I must point out that there wasn't a separate Easter Sunday menu. I missed having one in a restaurant like this. A pity. On the other hand, the kitchen was very flexible with the side dishes. Overall, we had lovely evenings.

The Paulser Hof is an absolute must for us whenever we're in Eppan. For us, it's one of the best restaurants when it comes to excellent South Tyrolean cuisine. Finding better Knödel Tris (a trio of dumplings) or Schlutzkrapfen (filled pasta) isn't easy. The menu offers a truly good selection of regional delicacies. And the wine selection is huge. The price and quality are just right, and you're happy to leave a generous tip because the service is warm and attentive. A passionate hostess, Elke Schwarzer-Morandell, oversees everything, and you always feel like the most important guest of the day. Her advice on wine selection is invaluable.
In conclusion: I can't understand the occasional negative reviews here, and I think they refer to a completely different restaurant. For us, the Paulser Hof is a top address when it comes to local specialties. Stop by and see for yourself.
