We had an excellent dinner here in a very relaxed atmosphere. Our table was nice and quiet in a kind of courtyard. The food and service were top-notch. We will definitely come back.

We stopped there for a bite to eat after cycling. The service and food were excellent. The dumplings were fantastic. The courtyard is very nice and quiet.

We dined there on Good Friday and Easter Sunday, a party of four. The prices were on the higher end but reasonable. On Good Friday, there was a separate menu with excellent fish dishes. The plaice was fantastic. Unfortunately, the potato salad tasted like it came from a store. I must point out that there wasn't a separate Easter Sunday menu. I missed having one in a restaurant like this. A pity. On the other hand, the kitchen was very flexible with the side dishes. Overall, we had lovely evenings.

The Paulser Hof is an absolute must for us whenever we're in Eppan. For us, it's one of the best restaurants when it comes to excellent South Tyrolean cuisine. Finding better Knödel Tris (a trio of dumplings) or Schlutzkrapfen (filled pasta) isn't easy. The menu offers a truly good selection of regional delicacies. And the wine selection is huge. The price and quality are just right, and you're happy to leave a generous tip because the service is warm and attentive. A passionate hostess, Elke Schwarzer-Morandell, oversees everything, and you always feel like the most important guest of the day. Her advice on wine selection is invaluable. In conclusion: I can't understand the occasional negative reviews here, and I think they refer to a completely different restaurant. For us, the Paulser Hof is a top address when it comes to local specialties. Stop by and see for yourself.

Fantastic! Great food, lovely atmosphere, and excellent service. Hospitality is truly alive and well here. The courtyard garden is incredibly cozy, and the interior is charmingly rustic. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

Stepping into the restaurant immediately transported me back to my childhood. The restaurants looked exactly like this when I used to eat out with my parents, and I'm almost 60 now 😅 back to the 80s! The food was good, but the portions were quite small. I had asparagus dumplings on a bed of lamb's lettuce. Unfortunately, there was hardly any lamb's lettuce on the plate; instead, it was the kind of mixed salad you always buy pre-packaged with spinach, radicchio, etc. I really should have complained right away… In any case, we weren't impressed with the value for money or the atmosphere.

Agriturismo Gummererhof

01/03/2026: Very friendly staff, excellent local cuisine. Coming here was a great decision. A bonus is that it's the only restaurant open on Sundays in the area.
16/02/2026: We returned after about two years and couldn't help but appreciate once again the hospitality and the mastery in preparing the dishes created with passion by the whole family, especially thanks to Philip, who delighted us with his fantastic Speck. This time we even stayed for two nights and also appreciated the clean, new, and welcoming rooms. We were looking for a restaurant to have dinner for my birthday, and after searching online, my wife was drawn to this agriturismo. It was an excellent choice; as soon as we entered, we were greeted by friendly staff in a welcoming atmosphere. They produce everything themselves, and the dishes are exceptional, an appetizer of cured meats and cheeses with truly well-made Speck and Pancetta. The wine was also very good; we chose the house red, the full-bodied one. We're not big wine drinkers, but it was so good we bought 3 liters to take home. I'm very sensitive to sulfites in wine, which usually give me a headache the next day. This time, however, I woke up without a headache. Verena, who served us, was friendly and professional. We'll definitely be back.
