29/12/2025: We were just having coffee at the restaurant. Our first impression was very positive. We considered coming back for dinner the following evening. However, after the poor service and treatment we received (from an older lady), and the fact that the next guests were already being shown to their table before we had even finished our coffee, we decided never to go back to this establishment.

28/12/2025: We can only judge the restaurant and the overall experience. The reception was a disaster, unworthy of a professionally run restaurant. We were "shuffled" into a musty room on the first floor. Then it turned out that they only served pizza in the evenings and no other options, even though the menu at the entrance promised otherwise. It took an hour before we finally got our pizzas. As an aside, the pizzas were rather average in terms of taste. We are very disappointed and will definitely not be returning.

27/08/2025: The hotel is in a wonderful location; the rooms are welcoming and the staff is always helpful. I stayed with my family and really appreciated the attention paid to our little ones. The cuisine is refined and excellent. The rooms are meticulously clean.

06/12/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Corte Bar Bistrò – Bolzano I had the pleasure of dining at Corte Bar Bistrò in Bolzano and was truly impressed. The food is carefully prepared, balanced, and rich in flavor: each dish exudes attention to detail, quality, and a delightful harmony of flavors. The staff deserves special mention: friendly, discreet, and always attentive, making guests feel welcomed with ease and professionalism. The atmosphere is elegant without being overbearing, warm and welcoming, perfect for those seeking a pleasant and well-curated experience. 15/11/2025: The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We were really impressed by how seamless everything was. The courses arrived quickly, with almost no wait. Superbly organized! The only slight drawback was the portion sizes. They were adequate and filling, but you couldn't really eat your fill. The decor was fine. We'd gladly come back again 👍.

03/10/2025: We planned to eat here on September 29th and were extremely disappointed! Although the restaurant was listed as open, we arrived at around 2:45 PM when we found a sign prohibiting any further travel. So we had to park by the lift and climb a steep 20-minute climb, as the area was currently undergoing renovations. A call to check whether the hut was still open went unanswered. When we reached the top, the restaurant had already closed at 3:05 PM, even though the opening hours were listed until 4:00 PM. Given the extremely poor parking situation, the listing should at least be kept up to date!

23/12/2025: Family-run hotel on the slopes. Step out of the ski room and put on your skis, no need to walk to the lifts. The owner, Mrs. Patrizia, is always kind and available to accommodate guests' needs. Second holiday here this year, and we'll be back again!

28/12/2025: We are writing to share feedback regarding our recent, and regrettably, final stay. While this was our third visit, the hotel’s atmosphere has shifted from a family resort to a tourist compound as it expands. We observed a significant decline in service, indicating a lack of expected 5-star staff training. Our food orders were consistently incorrect late or completely missing for five days, and front desk operators frequently forgot requests, struggled with simple requirements, and lacked empathy and professional courtesy. Additionally, the food quality dropped significantly. The pasta was consistently overcooked, flavors were flat, and the lunch buffet appeared to be composed of leftovers. It seems the hotel is currently struggling to balance the increased quantity of guests with the quality of the experience.

22/12/2025: It is our fifth stay at Feuerstein and I surely have a thorough understanding of both the resort and the region. Food is great; staff, for many I know by face by now, are very nice; facilities are good for kids; and the best massages I have ever had in Europe. The fact I have returned for four times shows how much I liked it. Having all these being said, my stay of last week fell apart. The overall issue is simple: the resort is expanding fast but many seasonal staff were not well trained. I have food orders missing in the air, confused dinner service and the worst of the worst, was the check out. The day before our departure, I saw my neighbour chalet parents moving with multiple bags and three young kids. It was quite chaotic so I was giving a hand. I asked why they did not call for the service. The response was: "we did but they never came; and now our shuttle bus to the airport is leaving...." Ok, so we decided to move the luggages ourselves to make sure everything is on time at departure. I checked out at 10:30am at the reception. Between 10:30 and 12:30, I was locked out of the chalet twice as the key card did not work. The staff came to deliver new card each time very quickly but did not mention much why I was locked out. The most frustrating part was when we are all packed with luggages and two kids walking towards the garage, our key card could not open the garage door. For those who have never been here, this is a HUGE resort. My husband had to go all around the ground floor to enter the garage and open the door for us from the other side, while I was waiting with the kids and luggages. I wrote an email to complain. The response i received was no more than saying: it is our rules and it is not our fault. The overlooked fact is these rules are NEW (because we were invited for lunch of the departure day many times before and now it cost 100 Euro covering lunch and facilities but not the room). I am not objecting the new rules or the cost involved; but please explain them better as they are very confusing even for the returning customers! For ski classes for children, Feuerstein does not book for the guests. Although the transfer and coordination between the resort and ski has been smooth, it is still a bit stressful to arrange the ski lessons by yourself, while other similar resorts in the region will do that for the guests. Also, compared with other family resorts, the activities offered to adults are very limited here. There are gym lessons everyday but very few outdoor activities to explore the region.

30/12/2025: If I could rate 0 stars, I would. My mother and I went to the restaurant for a quick pizza dinner. We had to wait twenty minutes after sitting down for our waiter to come and take our order. Then after thirty minutes we asked where our food was, since we only ordered two plates (one plate each) and the response was “it’s coming” after another twenty minutes we decided to leave, with empty stomachs, a wasted evening, and still having to pay for drinks. 1 hour and ten minutes in total just for us to get the lame excuse of “your order never went through to the kitchen”, isn’t it as your job as a waiter to go check on what is going on with the cooks if your customers’ food hasn’t arrived after 30 minutes? And not only but during all of this, other tables that had been seated after us were getting food and dessert while we were still waiting for our food. Worst experience ever.

27/12/2025: Unfortunately, we have to agree with most of the recent negative reviews. A very dated, run-down hotel... We were traveling as a family of 11 and had booked half-board. We had a total of four rooms, all carpeted with old-fashioned carpeting. Some of the bathrooms were new, but designed in such a way that everything flooded when showering. It wasn't particularly clean; toilet paper wasn't replenished and never lasted, so we had to help each other out. Several staff members only spoke Italian, which made communication really difficult. And this in a place where most people speak good German and English. Breakfast was okay, but the rolls were rock hard, the coffee machine was very old, and the coffee was really bad. The breakfast room was very cold overall, which meant all the food and drinks cooled down quickly. Dinner was a disaster. The menus were very poorly translated into German, which led to several surprises. The staff was completely overwhelmed, and we often received the wrong food or the wrong number of meals. Vegetarians have virtually no options here; there's bacon everywhere, unless you eat pasta with tomato sauce every night... Calling it a spa is an insult; there's a dilapidated sauna, and mold is visible everywhere. The only advantage is the location, which is a good starting point for exploring the Val di Fassa, and the Carezza ski area is directly accessible from the hotel (provided there's enough natural snow to cover the slopes). All in all, it's not good value for money, even though it's one of the cheaper accommodations. We won't be back.

04/01/2026: Disappointing Stopover – Value for Money Not Right We spent one night at the Hotel Residence Lorenz during our travels and were unfortunately disappointed. The Apartment: The apartment we were assigned was clearly outdated and looked run-down. While functional for a simple overnight stay, the price was, in our opinion, far too high and in no way justified. It is in dire need of renovation. Service and Hospitality: The owner was very grumpy. There was no sign of the typical South Tyrolean hospitality. He should seriously reconsider his approach to service, as we felt like we were intruding. Restaurant (Mixed Feelings): The food in the attached restaurant was okay. The dishes we ordered – pizza and spaghetti – were tasty and well-prepared. However, a major drawback was the overpowering smell of old frying oil, which permeated the entire area, including the hotel entrance. Our clothes smelled unpleasant afterward, which was very bothersome. Service and Hospitality: The owner was very grumpy. Conclusion: Due to the exorbitant price for outdated accommodation, the inadequate service, and the unpleasant odor in the restaurant area, the Hotel Residence Lorenz is no longer worth a visit for us. For overnight stays while traveling, we will definitely look for an alternative with better value for money and friendlier staff in the future.

17/12/2025: The food was excellent!!! Unfortunately, we witnessed a family argument. The two sisters apparently went after their brother (presumably the cook) and publicly humiliated him in front of us guests, calling him names and things getting quite heated. Hats off to the cook who didn't say much and just let it all happen. It's a shame that this had to be played out publicly in a restaurant. Embarrassing for the sisters to behave like that in a restaurant. 5 stars for the good food. Everything else was unpleasantly embarrassing and cringeworthy!!!!

12/09/2025: Good, inexpensive food, a nice outdoor play area for children. Despite its proximity to the main road, a pleasant atmosphere.

26/09/2025: The best pizza I've had in a long time. Super thin crust, great toppings, large portion, lots of selection. We ate inside. Small inside area. Unfortunately, there was only one table outside.
