01/10/2025: My husband and I can fully agree with Mrs. Kirn's review. We visited Caffè Marilyn several times in September and were always greeted and served in a friendly and welcoming manner. It's a great place to stop for water, wine, beer and small snacks. Yes, the toilets are a problem, but what's the problem if you're not a guest and have to pay 1 euro and ask politely? The toilet is super clean and paper, soap and water all cost money. I don't understand the grumbling. We'll definitely stop by Marilyn's on our next vacation.

25/09/2025: We love Café Marilyn. Good coffee, good wines. The small snacks are also very tasty. I'd like to make a comment to those users who complain about the restroom. The café is NOT a public restroom. And there's only one on the first floor. If you're a guest, you can of course use the restroom. Otherwise, you'll have to pay one euro. That's not offensive. Try going into a shop across the street and asking to use the restroom. What would the owner say to you? Just today, Marilyn told us some anecdotes about the "restroom guests." It's pretty embarrassing what some "guests" will do to get to the restroom. And all for one euro. Just remember that cleanliness, paper towels, etc. also cost something!! The problem probably lies with the city, that the public restrooms aren't well-signposted. There are supposedly five of them.

30/12/2025: It has never happened to me that I was kicked out of a place while I was drinking, just because it started to rain, and that was far from closing time (6.30pm) to the amazement and indignation of the other customers.

30/12/2025: Terrible experience, while we were eating it started to rain and we were kicked out within 15 minutes because they had to close due to the rain.

26/12/2025: Terrible service. The staff doesn't even pay attention to you. We repeatedly asked if we could order but were promptly ignored. The staff were extremely rude. I absolutely do not recommend it.

16/11/2025: Nice place, smoking area to the side, well-furnished central bar area, winter garden at the back towards the hotel.

02/10/2025: Perfect spot for post-hike bevvies. Staff was super friendly and even gave us cushions for our chairs!

19/09/2025: The kitchen didn't have half of the items on the menu, and out of the 3 items left, they managed to get 2 out of 3 dishes ordered wrong... low quality food compared to the price.

03/03/2026: Terrible experience, not up to par with the old management. We waited over an hour, and the food (dumplings and ribs) was inedible. The prices were exorbitant for the terrible quality of the food. After we very politely told the management that we hadn't had a good experience, they treated us horribly and kicked us out.

15/11/2025: I can't comment on the room. The food was delicious. The price/performance ratio is good. The only downside was that I didn't find the server particularly friendly! It was different in the adjoining bistro across the street!

05/01/2026: Based on the high ratings and prices, our expectations were equally high. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. The food was good, but not worth the price. The service was very poor and unprofessional; the waiter was unfriendly, and we felt unwelcome. At these prices, not only the food needs to be good, but everything else as well.

19/11/2025: I wonder if this place has ever been inspected by the hygiene department!! No one wears gloves when preparing the food; the pizza chef makes your pizza and then picks up the broom. What happened to me this summer is even worse. I ordered a pizza at the counter when I saw the employee wiping sweat from his forehead, so I mentioned it to the owner, who told him to wash his hands. Luckily I was there, at the counter; who knows how many he topped with his sweat? Another employee comes out, smokes a cigarette, and then makes you a kebab.

12/09/2025: It's absolutely delicious! I've only ever eaten pasta, so this feels like heaven. If you want more salad, please add more.

14/08/2025: RUDE AND RUDE MANAGER, not to mention the waitresses who look at you and answer rudely if you go to buy something!

09/08/2025: I can only confirm the operator's unfriendly manner. It was around 3:30 p.m., and we asked for an hour of tennis. The courts were empty! "Guest cards aren't valid!" Okay, we'd pay. "Not until 4:00 p.m." Do they have tennis rackets and balls? "We only have bad stuff. If you want to play tennis, bring your own." They're pretty good at scaring customers away here.

10/05/2025: Truly excellent beer! I recommend doing the tasting, the owner follows the customer directly, giving information on the beers and advising impeccably. Delicious burgers and also the sauces made by them, excellent. The place is just outside the center but can be reached quickly on foot. It also has a large car park in front. Well done! Really compliments. We will definitely be back.

21/09/2025: The food is delicious, but the service is terrible. We ordered a glass of wine and got it with dessert instead of an aperitif. The waitress excused us by saying, "There are people around, you're not alone," and she didn't smile.

15/09/2025: I'm no expert on strudel, but it wasn't bad at all, although I remember having had better. The girl who served us was very kind.

14/09/2025: Very tasty focaccia! Friendly service, prices are expensive but still reasonable.

13/10/2025: Pizza delivery or self-pickup. The pizzas are delicious and freshly made. Pickup only requires a short wait, and the staff is friendly. Everything is excellent.

10/09/2025: The pizza was delicious; we had the regular with scampi and arugula for €9. We'll definitely order again.

17/08/2025: I gave one star because zero wasn't possible. The pizza was truly disgusting, as was the owner. We ordered takeout, and one of the four had a hole in it. To disguise the fact that the pizzas were raw, they put raw tomatoes in the box.
