26/12/2025: Terrible service. The staff doesn't even pay attention to you. We repeatedly asked if we could order but were promptly ignored. The staff were extremely rude. I absolutely do not recommend it.

16/11/2025: Nice place, smoking area to the side, well-furnished central bar area, winter garden at the back towards the hotel.

02/10/2025: Perfect spot for post-hike bevvies. Staff was super friendly and even gave us cushions for our chairs!

19/09/2025: The kitchen didn't have half of the items on the menu, and out of the 3 items left, they managed to get 2 out of 3 dishes ordered wrong... low quality food compared to the price.

03/03/2026: Terrible experience, not up to par with the old management. We waited over an hour, and the food (dumplings and ribs) was inedible. The prices were exorbitant for the terrible quality of the food. After we very politely told the management that we hadn't had a good experience, they treated us horribly and kicked us out.

15/11/2025: I can't comment on the room. The food was delicious. The price/performance ratio is good. The only downside was that I didn't find the server particularly friendly! It was different in the adjoining bistro across the street!

05/01/2026: Based on the high ratings and prices, our expectations were equally high. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. The food was good, but not worth the price. The service was very poor and unprofessional; the waiter was unfriendly, and we felt unwelcome. At these prices, not only the food needs to be good, but everything else as well.

19/11/2025: I wonder if this place has ever been inspected by the hygiene department!! No one wears gloves when preparing the food; the pizza chef makes your pizza and then picks up the broom. What happened to me this summer is even worse. I ordered a pizza at the counter when I saw the employee wiping sweat from his forehead, so I mentioned it to the owner, who told him to wash his hands. Luckily I was there, at the counter; who knows how many he topped with his sweat? Another employee comes out, smokes a cigarette, and then makes you a kebab.

12/09/2025: It's absolutely delicious! I've only ever eaten pasta, so this feels like heaven. If you want more salad, please add more.

09/08/2025: I can only confirm the operator's unfriendly manner. It was around 3:30 p.m., and we asked for an hour of tennis. The courts were empty! "Guest cards aren't valid!" Okay, we'd pay. "Not until 4:00 p.m." Do they have tennis rackets and balls? "We only have bad stuff. If you want to play tennis, bring your own." They're pretty good at scaring customers away here.

10/05/2025: Truly excellent beer! I recommend doing the tasting, the owner follows the customer directly, giving information on the beers and advising impeccably. Delicious burgers and also the sauces made by them, excellent. The place is just outside the center but can be reached quickly on foot. It also has a large car park in front. Well done! Really compliments. We will definitely be back.

21/09/2025: The food is delicious, but the service is terrible. We ordered a glass of wine and got it with dessert instead of an aperitif. The waitress excused us by saying, "There are people around, you're not alone," and she didn't smile.

13/10/2025: Pizza delivery or self-pickup. The pizzas are delicious and freshly made. Pickup only requires a short wait, and the staff is friendly. Everything is excellent.

09/10/2025: We had parpadelle with venison ragu and shepherd's macaroni. Very tasty! Excellent service, great location. We highly recommend it.

07/10/2025: We went for lunch a few days ago. The restaurant has tables right on the lake. The service was satisfactory, but the prices are absolutely outrageous for the amount of food you receive. €10 for half a chicken, no side, no potatoes, no salad, is way too much, and the view doesn't justify the price. The sandwich was also quite good, but the price is absurd. What a shame.

01/01/2026: The pizza tasted like chewing gum. The pasta and meat were good, but if you're coming for pizza, I wouldn't recommend it. The place was a bit chilly, and they brought us some chipped glasses. The price was reasonable for the service.

It's one of those places that welcomes you with familiar aromas, genuine smiles, and that warm feeling that only things made with passion can provide. As soon as I enter, I'm immediately won over by the aroma of freshly baked bread and the display cases full of traditional pastries. The staff is always kind, smiling, and genuinely attentive—you can tell they love what they do and care about every customer. I can never leave without their best-selling strudel: it's simply perfect. The thin, fragrant pastry envelops a filling of fragrant apples, spices, and a touch of sweetness that captivates with every bite. It's the kind of dessert that tells a story, that tastes of home, of the mountains, and of authenticity. The E-type bread has also become a regular feature of mine—crunchy, aromatic, and full-flavored, perfect both on its own and as an accompaniment to any dish. Franziskaner isn't just a bakery, but a little corner of tradition and humanity in the heart of Bolzano. Every visit is a simple yet special moment of pleasure, always leaving you wanting more.

13/07/2025: A wonderful bakery in the center of Bolzano. We lived nearby and went for fresh pastries for breakfast. Everything was delicious. Very nice service. Thank you.
