21/02/2026: The staff was very unfriendly and appeared unkempt. At no point did we feel welcome. The sauna area smelled unpleasantly of sewage, and the saunas themselves were dirty and full of spiders. Breakfast was okay. The pizza was worse than expected, but still edible. The price is definitely too high for what was offered. Overall, I cannot recommend this place.

28/12/2025: The Hotel Alpenhof is a family-run, extremely clean hotel, where the owners personally oversee every detail and create an authentic atmosphere. It's an ideal hotel for families with children, but without excess or kitschy childish decorations: everything is tastefully and thoughtfully designed. The food is very good, but the real highlight is dinner, simply excellent. The children's entertainment is well-organized and enjoyable. The pool area is beautiful and relaxing, although the water could be slightly warmer. We spent five wonderful days there and would gladly return. Highly recommended.

19/12/2025: We spent a wonderful family vacation at the Dolomit Family Alpenhof and felt truly at home from the very first moment. The hotel exudes a tranquil and elegant atmosphere, where everything flows naturally and stress-free. Everything you need for a relaxing vacation is within easy reach. The wellness center is truly comprehensive and well-maintained, with a Finnish sauna, hay sauna, herbal Turkish bath, infrared cabin, and a splendid salt cave with a hydromassage pool, perfect for truly relaxing moments. The pool is also very beautiful, with a dedicated area for small children that we greatly appreciated. The cuisine is truly excellent: gourmet at dinner, comfortable and well-organized at lunch, always attentive to quality and variety. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and ideal for a family stay. The welcoming atmosphere is evident in every detail. The owners are extremely kind and attentive, always present but never intrusive, and manage to create a peaceful and family-friendly atmosphere. All the staff are friendly, helpful, and professional, helping guests feel truly cared for. The Kids' Club service is excellent, with talented, engaging, and attentive entertainers who ensure the children have a great time. The evening baby dance was a much-anticipated event for the little ones and much appreciated by their parents. A special thanks to Giorgia for her kindness, helpfulness, and the smile with which she welcomes guests. A facility truly designed for families, combining elegance, tranquility, and quality services. 28/02/2026: Very poor shop and rest area. Toilets are in a bad state, poor food options and barely anything gluten free for celiacs. Not recommended

24/02/2026: The gas station attendant said the shower wasn't working at 8:00 PM, which is complete nonsense... Let's close at 6 PM to make it even more enjoyable...

09/10/2025: Basic food, but tasty enough and good value. I had 1/4 roasted chicken with roasted potatoes and fennel for €11. Included a small espresso to finish the meal. No tourists here, mostly local blue collar workers or employees from the train station across the street. Staff was very friendly and helpful, place was very clean and bright. A bit like eating at IKEA, except Italian food.

20/10/2025: We celebrated our August wedding with 80 people in the Pinzonerkeller – and it was simply a dream! 💫 The ambiance was beautiful, with atmospheric fairy lights, candles, and an atmosphere that couldn't have been more romantic. The food was outstanding – every dish lovingly prepared and simply delicious. A huge compliment to the entire team: so warm, professional, and attentive – we and our guests felt completely at home. Everything ran smoothly! We were always supported with questions and spontaneous changes, and Maya and her team were always available and helpful in advance. Our wedding was truly perfect, and the Pinzonerkeller played a crucial role in making it happen. We can wholeheartedly recommend this venue – for us, it was an unforgettable day in a very special place. ❤️

17/10/2025: We always order the best home delivery pizza from them... today my daughter wanted a heart-shaped pizza... I asked if it was possible and they told me they were happy to do it... my daughter was very happy... thank you and congratulations, the pizza is always delicious

10/07/2025: Terrible, I don't know what happened, the first pizza arrived promptly at home and the edge was stuck to the cardboard like rubber, I called and they kindly confirmed that the pizza chef is not the same as usual and they promptly brought me another pizza even worse, terrible dough, terrifying... and even more stuck to the cardboard... I don't know what happened, I will never have it again!! terrible

07/12/2025: I ate there with a friend and shortly afterwards we both felt sick. I even vomited and also have diarrhea (I suspect it was spoiled meat) or food poisoning. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone...!!!!

21/02/2025: The pizza is very good. The lady at the register refuses to take cards, she probably doesn't pay taxes. Pizza is expensive but very good. The pizza has a fluffy crust and is good to eat.

11/10/2025: I also forgot something (my e-reader) in my room. They found it but they said they couldn't send it to me. No goodwill. Disappointing, just like the general reception, not to mention the construction work next to and behind the building. So no swimming pool. It was in August and I'm still looking for a Belgian biker to go and get it 😬

07/10/2025: DEAR MANU AND DEAR PAUL.......I WOULD LIKE TO THANK YOU AGAIN FOR THE WONDERFUL, UNFORGETTABLE HOLIDAY from September 28th to October 5th, 2025 IN YOUR HOTEL. The rooms were beautifully furnished and had a magnificent view of the King 👑 Ortler and Madatsch peaks. The food was amazing. RESPECT PAUL, YOU COOK SIMPLY FANTASTIC. AND MANU READS YOUR EVERY WISH FROM YOUR EYES. I'm already missing that good fried egg with bacon. I'll be back soon to SEE THE NEW WELLNESS AREA....I 100% recommend the hotel. 23/12/2025: A pleasant spot on the promenade in Merano, I had the soup of the day which was fillling and tasted good but what I liked were the sparrows which were around the tables, they were very tame and were happy enough to eat peanuts from my hand 😊

20/09/2025: It's a shame the bakery isn't open on Sundays like it used to be; it was our first stop when we arrived from Germany. Located on the main road, but with a roundabout and plenty of parking, it's always worth a visit.
