19/07/2025: Locale molto accogliente e con ottima cucina. Consiglio i ravioli tricolori, che oltre a ispirarsi ai colori nazionali, sono effettivamente anche molto buoni. Conto nella norma, considerato il contesto turistico.

04/09/2025: Very good ham/cheese/tomato/salad sandwich with fresh products, just make sure you pay the indicated price (we were charged 2€ more and needed to claim them back, I'd like to hope it was not on purpose)

24/09/2025: Surreal experience. We went in for a quick sandwich on a gloomy day. We looked for products that didn't contain meat, and found some vegan wraps (written by them). When we asked for an explanation of the ingredients, we were told they contained ham! When we pointed out the word "vegan," they smiled and said, "We must have made a mistake." We opted for two mozzarella and tomato sandwiches, of which I'll leave you with the pictures, which are embarrassing to say the least. The bread was clearly made with ready-made mixes and the filling was embarrassing. I don't think I've seen sandwiches with sauces just on the edges since the wonderful '80s. Imagine what something like this would have caused in the comments of South Tyrolean tourists, if it were made far from the splendid city of Bolzano. It's a case of preaching well and practicing badly. I should point out that the presence of tourists represents an important element of the local economy, and perhaps it would be worth taking this into account more.

03/10/2025: Awesome spot, great food. Highly recommend the steak, carbonara and penne ragu. They are allergy friendly +++ one of the waiters speaks punjabi!!

22/09/2025: Incredible find in Brunico! Elegant atmosphere, fresh and flavorful sushi, and even ramen and pizza for the kids. The highlight was the owner, Gian Maria, a trained sake sommelier, who personally paired premium chilled sake with our meal —> unforgettable. If this place were in LA, it would be my go-to spot. I’m a big sushi lover from Los Angeles, and while visiting family here in Brunico I wasn’t expecting to find great sushi —> let alone phenomenal sushi. To my surprise, walking into Umami Pizza • Sushi after a day at the waterpark, the space immediately impressed me. Elegant, well-lit, welcoming, and a vibe that instantly made me curious if the food would live up to the atmosphere. Spoiler: it did —> and then some. The dishes were outstanding. The coconut salmon ceviche was delicious and refreshing. Their salmon sashimi was fresh, vibrant, and served on ice to keep it perfect (my 8-year-old and I loved it). The salmon avocado roll was spot on, and the assorted fish platter tasted like it was cut moments before serving. My wife ordered the ramen, which she absolutely loved, and my 7-year-old had the margherita pizza, which was just right for him. Everything was high-quality, balanced, and beautifully presented. What really elevated the experience, though, was the service. Our waiter was warm, polite, and attentive, but the highlight was when the owner, Gian Maria, personally came to our table. I had asked about sake, and to my surprise he recommended a pairing himself —> not just as the owner, but as a trained sake sommelier. He explained how most people only know hot sake, but the premium sakes are best served chilled. He proved it with a gorgeous pairing, served in a bowl of ice, that elevated every bite of fish. Even better, he made the experience fun for my kids too —> serving their juice in wine glasses so they felt part of the celebration. That kind of detail speaks volumes about his passion and care. We was so pleased family all took a picture with Mr Gian Maria himself! Overall, the combination of elegant atmosphere, incredible food, and genuine hospitality made this a memorable night. You can feel Gian’s commitment to authenticity and creating something special for both locals and travelers. If you love sushi (or just great food), this is a must-visit.

19/09/2025: We really enjoy visiting Umami Restaurant, especially with the all-you-can-eat option! The food is truly delicious! However, I find it annoying that children under 2 don't eat for free. It wasn't a problem the last few times. Today, however, we were informed that children pay €18, but that at my child's age (21 months), it makes more sense to order something à la carte, since small children don't eat much, and the €18 isn't worth it for children. I was very surprised! I've never been to an all-you-can-eat restaurant where small children can't eat with the adults. We were ultimately not charged anything, so thank you! However, I really don't understand the policy. We ordered avocado maki (2 x 4 pieces) for our child, of which she ate 5, and I ate the rest. Most small children eat so little that it doesn't matter, or they try the adults' portions.

06/10/2025: Very rude owners. When we entered, they didn't say hello, and when we paid again, they didn't say hello even though the pizzeria was practically empty. The lady just looked at us without making a move. It's a shame because the pizzerias weren't that bad.

26/07/2025: The atmosphere was lovely, with soft lighting and candles lit at the tables. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and the service was impeccable. This restaurant is excellent for romantic dinners. The pizza was also good. In this case, I had spaghetti with fried eggplant in tomato sauce. It was really good. For dessert, I had a chocolate soufflé with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, which was also good. For what I ate, I have to say that the quality/price ratio was fair. I recommend this restaurant.

12/10/2025: We stayed at this hotel for one night. The staff were friendly and professional, the location was beautiful (15 minutes from Lake Anterselva), the rooms were large and functional, and there was free Wi-Fi throughout. We also had dinner (the cutlet was very good), and there was ample parking and a buffet breakfast.

07/10/2025: 40€ for goulash with 2 mini dumplings, coleslaw, ½ water, coffee, 2.50 cover charge.

04/10/2025: The Dürüm dough tasted fantastic, the best I've ever eaten, definitely try it!

28/07/2025: Easily accessible on foot and by bike; the nearest parking space is a 5-minute walk away. We like to cycle there on summer evenings, pick up food and drinks, and eat dinner on the Talferwiesen meadows; there are plenty of benches and seating. On the Grieser side, it's nicely shaded and wonderfully quiet in the evenings. If you don't mind the street noise, you can also eat directly at the snack bar; there are covered tables. The food is very affordable and tasty, and the staff is very friendly and well-organized.

13/09/2025: The apple strudel with vanilla sauce was delicious. The ambiance is very old-fashioned.

09/09/2025: Bar with excellent service. Extensive menu. Excellent ice cream sundaes. Rating confirmed in September 2025. Also excellent are the toasts, cakes, and hot chocolate.

03/10/2025: It was a delicious lunch. Everyone was friendly and the food was delicious! The freshly baked pretzels, not pictured, were really tasty.

21/09/2025: We dined at this restaurant two nights during our week-long stay in the beautiful Ortisei and were completely satisfied both evenings with the excellently cooked, top-quality dishes, the perfect wine pairing recommended, the intimate and characteristic setting, and, above all, the exquisite welcome from the very kind owner and all the young and friendly staff...see you on our next stay!

29/09/2025: Cozy atmosphere, but due to the time of day, we only had the small menu. The pizza is not recommended. The dough tasted sweet and wasn't cooked properly, with some of the dough being raw. My wife had a Spezi, which was inedible. Service was good, but unfortunately, we realized too late that we had been deducted from the bill. Apparently, it was €18 for a beer and a Spezi.

30/08/2025: A little dated. Very friendly staff. Fair price. Good breakfast. Parking available. Great view. Near the bus station to Merano.

28/08/2025: A very beautiful hotel with an amazing location. The staff is very cooperative. For those visiting the northern cities, you can see from this location that the farthest thing is San Candido, maybe two hours away. The rest is close. I strongly recommend it.
