17/12/2025: 1908 is one of those places that truly stays with you. Dinner kicked off with an actual bite of a lemon leaf from the tree on our table and we immediately understood this won’t be an ordinary dinner. Soulful and savory dishes each centered on a surprise element, from the Alto Adige wagyu to the truly memorable lemon thyme raviolo. The “walk” through Aspinger’s garden for the vegetable dish is pure poetry. Warm service, intimate atmosphere, each course came with its own carefully chosen glass of wine (the Abendrot niedermayr was the one that stayed with me and surprised me the most) An authentic experience, chef Stephan Zippl & team 10/10

15/12/2025: The service was a complete disaster. The sommelier's disdain was unacceptable for a restaurant of this caliber. The dishes were beautiful but unfortunately very unusual. We also told the sommelier and the chef that we didn't like the food, but they didn't seem interested in understanding why. The wine prices are also excessive compared to other restaurants of this standing. A very disappointing experience for this type of establishment. I don't recommend going there; there are much better restaurants in the area.

28/10/2025: The food was okay and the location was nice. Unfortunately, the impression was spoiled by the service and atmosphere. The person who served us was friendly at first, but when she realized that we didn't speak German fluently, she became quite rude. When asked if she knew English, she just said "no" and left, which was a bit awkward. She served us later, but without making any effort to communicate. Also, there were a lot of flies in the interior of the restaurant, which was not very pleasant. It's a shame, because the place has potential, but the overall impression was not the best.

20/10/2025: The dumplings (mushrooms, cheese, spinach, so vegetarian?) were served on a coleslaw. Unfortunately, it was a bacon coleslaw, which wasn't clear on the menu. It should have been described better. The Schlutzkrapfen were unfortunately not as tasty as they were a year ago...

11/10/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Beautiful place with great wine and friendly service! 🍷 The Kastelaz cellar is beautifully situated among the vineyards – the view is simply fantastic! 🌿 The staff is super friendly and the wine is truly excellent. The only small drawback: parking is a bit difficult, so you might have to park a bit further away and walk a bit. But the trip is worth it – if only for the view and the atmosphere. 🌞

13/11/2025: The spaghetti alla carbonara turned out to be spaghetti with cream and cooked bacon. This dish should definitely not be advertised as carbonara. The wild boar pasta was also carelessly prepared and tasteless. The service was attentive, and the owner didn't charge me for my spaghetti, which I found very accommodating.

20/09/2025: We've been regular guests at the Graziani for years, both in winter and briefly in summer. What can I say? We're coming to stay with our Graziani family! Staying in quaint (very clean) rooms, excellent food, and the entire staff are simply commendable and welcoming. The location and the panorama are simply unbeatable. We're already looking forward to our next stay!

04/01/2026: Long waits and mostly tasteless food. Unforgivable: we ordered pappardelle with porcini mushrooms and the pappardelle arrived (completely plain, with no sauce to bind it, it tasted like they'd been rinsed under running water) with honey mushrooms. When we pointed this out, we were told there were no porcini mushrooms and that the price would be the same. Unacceptable, in my opinion. We were offered a different dish (at the restaurant owner's expense, of course), and we swapped for a speck and apple risotto and ricotta and spinach ravioli tossed in melted butter (no butter at all; this also tasted like water), both inedible. We only ate them because we were starving. Last but not least, one of our guests ordered gnocchi with cheese and truffle, but it was actually truffle oil, another ingredient not specified on the menu nor mentioned when ordering.

02/01/2026: The waitress's service was always impeccable. Unfortunately, we weren't able to finish dinner because the chef refused to cook dessert despite our table reservation and dinner starting at 8:30 PM. They only brought us cold strudel straight from the refrigerator, without even reheating it. The chef was evidently in a hurry to close the kitchen, unconcerned about the guests still present and the restaurant being full. Some dishes couldn't be ordered because they had run out during the previous shift. Fortunately, the waitress's kindness made our disappointments sweeter. She's always top notch.

29/11/2025: A truly disastrous experience from start to finish. We sat down and waited 40 minutes just to order, despite stopping the waiters three times. The place wasn't even full, so there's no justification for such a wait. The appetizer arrived without cutlery, napkins, water, or wine. When they finally brought the wine, they even opened the wrong bottle. After another 20 minutes, seeing that our dishes hadn't arrived, we inquired: they'd completely forgotten about them, and we were even asked if we still wanted to eat them. A level of organization that to call sloppy is a compliment. The trout was cold and of terrible quality, truly unacceptable. We paid €5 for a 750ml bottle of water... thieves. The bill, then, was incredibly high considering the nonexistent service and disappointing dishes. The staff demonstrated unparalleled incompetence, from welcoming us to managing the table. You come on vacation to relax and eat well, and instead you end up having such a frustrating experience. It's truly a shame. We'll never return.

20/10/2025: A superb location with stunningly spectacular views - well worth the long zig zag walk from the road below - or you can take the ski lift in 12 minutes! This is such an incredibly wonderful, clean and welcoming venue. Excellent menu which changes on a regular basis - all of it magnificent and reasonably priced when considering the location. The fabulous goulash soup was a meal in itself and the venison was simply delicious and perfectly cooked. Superb service from very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend.

13/03/2026: We recently visited Pizzeria La Grolla and overall it was a very pleasant experience. The restaurant is cozy and well-maintained, and the atmosphere is relaxed. It's a great place to sit and enjoy a meal, whether with friends or family. The service was friendly and attentive. Even though it was quite busy, we were served promptly. The staff was attentive and made sure everything was perfect. The pizza was delicious and delicious. The dough was perfectly baked and the ingredients seemed fresh. The menu is also extensive, offering a wide selection of Italian dishes in addition to pizza. The value for money is excellent. Considering the quality of the food and the restaurant's location, the prices are perfectly reasonable. Overall, it's a solid restaurant with good food and friendly service. There might be a few minor details that could be improved, but overall we had a lovely time and would definitely return.

06/01/2026: While I was disappointed that Apostelstube was closed, The Elephant Restaurant was one of the best meals I’ve had in recent memory. The tagliatelle with spinach cream and white truffle (getting extra truffle takes it over the top) and the roe deer saddle with on chestnut cream with brussel sprouts and black currant jus were simply spectacular. These are dishes I will remember for a long time. I could not recommend this restaurant highly enough!
