05/01/2026: The baked goods are very good, as are the pastries. The strudel is delicious. The service is a bit chaotic, but that may have been because the place was so busy. Definitely worth a try.

17/11/2025: I've been to Vis-à-Vis by Pardeller twice, both in the bakery and the food section, and each time was an exceptional confirmation. The croissants are truly exquisite, fragrant, and made with great care. The bread is simply extraordinary: fragrant, crunchy, and of superior quality. A place where tradition meets authentic goodness. Highly recommended!

04/01/2026: We went to Brixen specifically to stay at this hotel, and to dine in its Michelin starred restaurant. While we were not overall disappointed, we would have expected a little bit better. This historic establishment has a marvelous location and the building itself is quite like a museum when it comes to history, arts and furnishing. We stayed in the main building, in standard rooms. The rooms are clean, but really basic. The bathrooms were very small and showed some wear and tear. Very few amenities (no shampoo, nor conditioner, just shower gel and body lotion). The Spa is well advertised on their website and I was expecting something a bit better. The sauna was small, with little information about the "dress code" (some people were nude, others weren't), the wet sauna was turned off. I was told there is water available, and I am sure there is, but I couldn't find it. Most spas also offer herbal teas, which was not the case here. The pool area with loungers is nice. The pool is lightly heated. I disliked the fitness room. It is extremely small. I gather it might have been a cellar as the ceilings are very low and vaulted - which doesn't make it for it being airy enough to feel confortable. There is only a tredmill, a bike, a bench and a few dumbells. Regardless: you wouldn't want to exercise heavily in that space. No water in the fitness room - no towels either. The best part of the experience is the breakfast buffet and the overall service. Breakfst offers a bounty of options - both sweet and savory- of outstanding quality. Service is impeccable. I think you pay for the history, the location and the (past) reputation of the establishment. I have been in 4 stars (this is a 4 stars + according to their ad) that provided a more comfortable stay, better facilities for a lower price. I understand that might not be the case in Brixen, but some standards should be quite universal. That being said, I don't regret going there.

20/12/2025: ​The communication here is extremely poor. They respond instantly to inquiries that benefit them, but completely ignore messages regarding issues or refund requests. I was told they were too busy with emails to reply to my urgent request, yet they replied within minutes only after I mentioned leaving a review. Highly unprofessional and unreliable service.

14/09/2025: Beautiful location in Mals, a bit off the beaten track but with a fantastic view. Delicious selection of cakes and tarts. Meinl coffee specialties and super friendly and welcoming service.

12/09/2025: Beautiful views of the mountains in Mals. They also serve delicious cake and coffee. I highly recommend it.

11/08/2025: The olive bread, in particular, was truly delicious! We also had the feeling that not everything had been baked that morning; the rolls weren't crispy or airy on the inside.

16/07/2025: A wonderful culinary experience. I tried a slice of Linzer torte and it was delicious, but what really blew me away was the Nussdreiken, a cake I'd never tasted before. I ate it with gusto and was sad to finish it. It's a shortcrust pastry cake with a walnut and almond filling, and topped with flaked almonds. I recommend it. A slice of cake costs €2.30. Also affordable.

31/12/2025: The place is very beautiful and charming. The place is warm and well-decorated. The lady who served us was nervous and agitated, perhaps she didn't feel like working that day. The quantity of food is remarkable; a single dish could feed 2-3 people, but the quality leaves a little to be desired; the pasta was overcooked and tasteless. The four-cheese dumplings, on the other hand, were very good. The lady at the cashier was very kind and friendly. I don't think I'll ever return.

30/12/2025: Good food, generous portions, fair prices, and the owner at the register was very kind and reliable. Unfortunately, the waitress's behavior at the table was unjustifiably irritable and impatient, simply because she was evaluating the order of dishes and providing clarifications about the dishes and their sides, which were not properly explained on the menu. This behavior was unspeakable, displaying a confident arrogance that was inappropriate for the job she does.

30/01/2026: Lovely shop, friendly service, and the goulash soup was a 10/10! Absolutely delicious!

22/01/2026: Beautiful atmosphere, very characteristic, very well-kept, a beautiful pub, aperitif accompanied by appetizers, excellent.

28/09/2025: Best food on the way south. Exceptional value for money. Don't be intimidated by the hundreds of trucks! Top!!! Breakfast espresso and fresh croissants are amazing!!!

21/11/2025: I've been inside once and outside a few times in the spring. On sunny days, the lovely terrace is incredibly inviting. The food and drinks are delicious. Time flies there, especially with the fantastic view.

02/12/2025: Very strategic and functional location. We stayed for two nights with generous sweet and savory breakfasts, and the hostess was very kind. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in Bolzano and then travel to other cities.

02/11/2025: We've been there for dinner several times now. Both the food and the pizza are excellent. The owners and staff are friendly.

26/10/2025: After a 45-minute wait (with about 15 tables free but unavailable) in the freezing cold (8°C) (with no waiter to communicate with us), we sat down (strictly outside. Still freezing) and no one cleaned the table or brought us a menu. After another 20 minutes like this, we left. I'm very sorry to have to say this, but they probably have so many customers that they don't mind losing two. However, I believe this is not the right way to run a restaurant.

25/10/2025: We had a variety of dumplings, and they were all delicious and fluffy. The service was very friendly. The view was beautiful. We'll be happy to go again.

05/10/2025: Disappointing. Until now, I've always been served by very friendly, local staff on Sunday mornings before the store opens. Today, however, two ladies were there who rudely reminded me of the opening hours. It's clear that good, competent staff are being replaced by the opposite. It's a shame. I won't be going to Mein Beck anymore.

05/10/2025: Unfortunately, after two months, I've noticed that you're implementing it even worse. In other words, it's now self-service, the waiters have more time to chat with each other, there's barely anything on offer anymore, no baguettes, hardly any breakfast... I think it's a shame that such a lovely shop is being run down like this.
