02/05/2026: A fried poached egg, served on a bed of green peas and with a corn salad: the egg was delicious, crispy on the outside, and the yolk was runny. Unfortunately, the rosemary described in the menu wasn't noticeable. The vitello tonnato – well-cooked veal. A tasty tuna sauce. The Fasana beef entrecote – medium rare. Delicious. Served with baked potatoes, which were also excellent. The breaded, fried guinea fowl breast was served on a bed of caramelized onions with fresh sweet and sour cabbage. The breast was dry, failing to bring out the guinea fowl flavor. The cabbage lacked creaminess. The thyme described in the menu was imperceptible. Overall, the food was good, but I expected something more, especially since it's not a budget restaurant and has a Michelin designation. Fast, efficient service. Well-chosen wine.

17/04/2026: We stopped here by chance on our way back from Turin. We wanted to eat something traditional and try Piedmontese meat, and this butcher shop/restaurant was a wonderful discovery. The atmosphere is beautiful and refined, intimate yet homey, with very friendly staff. The raw meat was excellent, the veal tagliata very tender and juicy, and the agnolotti were also a special highlight, with a rich and truly delicious filling. Highly recommended.

19/04/2026: Super bucolic location, with a lovely patio and steeped in history (a typical Canavese farmhouse). We ate about eight appetizers (one vegetarian), two first courses, a second course, and two desserts. Excellent service. Perfect for Sunday family lunches. The kids can run around happily.

10/05/2026: For us, Il Sorriso is a family restaurant. The cuisine is always top-notch, featuring traditional dishes that no one makes anymore. The owners always make you feel at home. The only downside is that the prices have risen quite a bit, but they're still in line with restaurants of the same caliber.

08/06/2026: We went for some good seafood, and ordered five hot and cold appetizers. The classic cold ones were nothing special! The hot ones were battered seaweed and a salmon frittata with cheese. The main course was a slice of Livorno-style swordfish, which was decent. The pizzas are certainly good, but we were a bit disappointed with the fish. The staff was friendly, but the owner was a bit less so.

22/05/2026: I chose this place to introduce Piedmontese dishes to friends visiting Turin. I was very pleased because the location is beautiful; we ate outside under a gorgeous wisteria. The location is very convenient, walking from Piazza Vittorio, along the Po River. I highly recommend it!
