07/07/2025: Eccezionale è l’unica parola per descrivere la cena di sabato sera da Kensho; ero già stata una volta diversi anni fa, credo più o meno prima del covid, ma non mi ricordavo nulla di simile! Mio marito ed io ci teniamo a congratularci davvero per l’ottimo servizio da parte di tutto il personale: gentile, educato e professionale. Abbiamo optato per il menù “omakase” che in giapponese significa proprio “mi fido di te” e non potevamo fare scelta migliore. Abbiamo aggiunto al menù la tagliata di Wagyu alla quale non abbiamo saputo resistere.. una vera goduria! È un’esperienza senza eguali in Torino che vi consigliamo spassionatamente!

26/05/2025: We went to Kensho in November during the ATP, we chose it only from the photos on Instagram, but I have to say that it pleasantly surprised us. The dishes I had were delicious, the staff were very kind and since I wrote in the reservation that it was my birthday they prepared a cake with a candle, they were really nice. We will return to Turin for the ATP and we will definitely go back.

16/05/2025: We went to dinner at this restaurant on the suggestion of a friend, I must say it was a real surprise, being gluten intolerant I was already ready to eat the classic things that you are absolutely sure you are not in and instead I discovered from a very kind, super helpful and prepared waitress that the restaurant is certified gluten free and offers fresh pasta, bread, breadsticks, desserts all gluten free and all very good, (those who eat gluten free know what I mean). We ate very well and without any consequences, traditional dishes presented in a very pleasant way (the eye also wants its part) the grand finale was the zabaglione made on the spot a spectacle, good value for money, we will certainly be back.

18/03/2025: EXCEPTIONAL!!!! The piadina is fantastic! Nice and crunchy and well filled. Then finishing with a nice sweet crepe is the right end to the meal! The managers are very kind, the place is very clean and well looked after

22/06/2025: FOR ME THE BEST! I have tried all the restaurants in the area and nearby. Takumi is unbeatable. High quality food, fresh fish, delicious first courses, shrimp that look like candy. I wouldn't change it for others. Truly the best.

10/06/2025: Honestly the first few times it was really good now less so, even the waiters were not too kind and really the last time we had dinner upstairs it was unbearably hot we had to leave... shame

28/06/2025: My favorite place in the area without a doubt! Highly recommended lunch. Always excellent and never banal dishes. Friendly and not too formal service carried out in an empathetic way that knows how to put you at ease. A piece of advice to the managers: I recommend renewing the brunette waitress on trial until June (Anto). She is really good! 😉

24/04/2025: Premetto che non sono andato a pranzo come volevo con mia moglie il giorno di Pasqua in quanto ho mandato una mail per richiedere informazioni sul menù e non mi è stato mai risposto come promesso,in più ho telefonato successivamente e mi hanno detto che ancora non avevano preparato qualcosa per il pranzo di Pasqua.Dulla promessa di essere ricontattato come risposta della mail sono ancora oggi in attesa.zNon discuto della qualità in quanto non ho avuto la possibilità di pranzare e non metto neanche in dubbio le belle recensioni viste,ma sicuramente un po' di attenzione si contatti effettuati tramite il loro dito si.zCordialmente saluti.

04/04/2025: Elegant restaurant with few seats, also open for lunch. Parking 5 minutes from the venue. Friendly staff and attentive to our needs. Lunch for two adults and two children. As a welcome, an aubergine meatball, omelette and peppers. First courses: tagliolini with mushrooms (morels), potato gnocchi with basil sauce and herbs. Second courses: lamb with a side dish of potatoes, asparagus with cheese fondue, sweetbreads. Olive pâté and butter, both to be served on excellent 4/5 types of bread. Vast cart with cheeses. Inviting. Petit patisserie of the house.

13/07/2025: Friendly and knowledgeable staff, a pleasant atmosphere thanks to the attention to detail in the restaurant's aesthetic. Fast service, a wide selection on the menu, and tasty, plentiful cuisine. Fair prices, exceptional quality!

13/07/2025: We often stop for lunch on the way to Alba. The place is large and spacious, the food is plentiful, and excellent value. There's also a small play area for children. There's a decent-sized parking lot.

06/07/2025: Me impresionó la amplia gama de dulces y delicias de chocolate. El chocolate relleno de crema y granos de avellana estaba delicioso.

27/06/2025: Un personnel agréable et avenant et une ambiance tranquille dans un café/restaurant au décor ancien et charmant Cependant, la cuisine n'est pas à la hauteur du lieu. Amuse-bouche et entrée : très bon - Le poulet à la sauce "saubade" : viande de bonne qualité mais sauce insipide et salée. Le dessert était trop sucré. Il se composait notamment de "sphères" contenant du sabayon, mais celui ci en avait le nom mais pas le gout. Prix sans vin : 57,50 €

08/07/2025: Haha, a joke! In the middle of summer they only had hot drinks, and at a table of 10 they only had 3 cold bottled beers to serve. Hahahaha. Obviously, we got up and went somewhere else... they should close... plus, my dear friend who worked as a waitress during COVID was never paid... not even when the market resumed its natural cycle... Thieves and incompetents

10/06/2025: Abbiamo scelto questo ristorante per festeggiare un momento importantissimo: il matrimonio dei miei genitori. Non avremmo potuto fare scelta migliore. Tutto è stato semplicemente perfetto, curato nei minimi dettagli, con una professionalità e un calore umano che ci hanno fatto sentire davvero speciali. Grazie Monica! Il cibo è stato eccellente, dall’aperitivo al dolce: ogni piatto era un piccolo capolavoro, preparato con ingredienti di altissima qualità e presentato con eleganza. Gli ospiti ci hanno fatto i complimenti per giorni! Lo staff è stato impeccabile: attento, sorridente, presente ma mai invadente. Ci hanno supportati in ogni fase dell’organizzazione con disponibilità e pazienza, rendendo tutto più semplice e sereno. La location ha fatto da cornice perfetta ad un giorno così bello: atmosfera magica, accogliente e raffinata. Un luogo che rimarrà per sempre nel nostro cuore. Grazie di cuore per aver reso il nostro matrimonio un sogno a occhi aperti. Torneremo sicuramente…

24/05/2025: We happened to be there during the Meliga Day festival and had lunch like we hadn't had in a long time. The veal with tuna sauce, the agnolotti with roast sauce, the braised meat with nebbiolo on polenta and finally the bunet were a magnificent sequence of flavors. We came back to celebrate our birthday, 16 of us, we ate very well and the guests were all happy. A guarantee of quality!!

07/05/2025: Raramente mi capita di scrivere recensioni ma l'Osteria dal Merlo merita un voto super. Ci sono capitata per caso con un'amica e abbiamo condiviso vari piatti, uno più buono dell'altro. Prodotti di qualità e sapori che si amalgamavano tra loro, esaltandosi a vicenda. Anche la carta dei vini è ampia e non ci ha deluso, nonostante abbiamo optato per una soluzione economica. A corona di un pranzo che definirei perfetto, la gentilezza e simpatia del personale che ci ha consigliato e fatto sentire a nostro agio dall'inizio al conto.

17/06/2025: Cucina ottima, pesce cucinato veramente bene. Quantità più che abbondante. Si esce soddisfatti di pancia e di cuore. Personale squisito.
