16/04/2026: I was in Bardonecchia for a relaxing family vacation, and every day (after trying it the first time, it couldn't have been otherwise) we went to eat at Bardosteria. We tried almost the entire menu, and every dish was exceptional, even the pizza. Excellent value. The service was friendly and always attentive, and the food was quick and delicious. It was ideal for us, especially given the children. The restaurant's location is very central. Overall, it was perfect for us. Thank you. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

08/03/2026: This wonderful and cosy restaurant is the best place to be during your stay in Bardonecchia! Located on pian de sole it is a lovely spot to enjoy the sun, a nice drink and a fantastic lunch. The owners are hard working and wonderful people who are so hospitable and so kind to all their guests. We took lunch their 4 times this year and everytime it was absolutely great! We recommend this place very much and hope to come next year as well!!

Excellent food and adequate portions.
Various selection, truly friendly service.
Excellent value for money.
Aside from the wonderful skiing, we'll miss stopping at La Grangia on our way back from our ski trip!

05/03/2026: We stayed here last week and had a wonderful experience. The breakfast was delicious, and the access to the ski slopes was very easy and convenient. The hotel was beautiful, and the rooms were very clean. They have also have an agreement with ski rental shop, so we rented the skis at a discounted price. A special thanks to Amedeo and his mother, who were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely come back. Highly recommended!
05/03/2026: Amazing service! Cozy and family-friendly place. Amedeo really pays attention to all the details, is available and kind throughout the stay. He tries very hard to help and give a lot of information. The place is very clean and well-maintained. A car is needed to get to the town center and the gondola.

31/08/2025: We arrived and were seated immediately. There was a wait of at least 10 minutes for the menu. We ordered, and waited 35 minutes for two beers. We even asked for our request, and the waiter and his colleague shrugged their shoulders at our request. The pizza was okay, but with low-quality ingredients, and above all, not local. I ordered a pizza with toma cheese, which wasn't available, but they didn't say anything to me. Not recommended.
28/08/2025: Today we ate fabulous pizzas, excellent first courses and side dishes. Excellent service.

29/03/2026: A small Italian restaurant that doesn't look like much at first glance, but is very pleasant.
Two small, well-appointed, and cozy rooms with a wood-burning stove in the middle.
Excellent wood-fired pizzas and very well-prepared dishes. Very affordable prices, and a very welcoming and friendly staff who speak better French than we speak Italian!
10/03/2026: I've been returning for several years with pleasure. The food is excellent, the quality is high and has remained unchanged, and the value for money is excellent. Thanks to the owner and all the staff. The desserts are excellent.

Clean rooms, but in my opinion, too crowded with furniture and poor lighting. The bathroom amenities could be improved. For a one-night stopover, it's fine... but the prices need to be reassessed.
06/08/2025: I debated for a while whether to give it 4 or 5 stars. But considering how dated and quirky the building is, and the service was really nice, I'd give it 5. The villa won't be to everyone's taste.

06/04/2026: We had an aperitif at the refuge thanks to the special offer listed on the website. Aside from the fair price and the location with a fantastic view, the platter was generous. It's just a shame that most of the alcohol wasn't available, so we left it to the bartender. We were very pleased with the drinks she made for us!
