19/01/2025: We happened here by chance before taking the train back to Milan and found some of the best ice cream we've ever eaten. Here you will find few "classic" flavors and many "strange" combinations such as grapefruit and Campari or the "Crema St. Tropez" that will win you over. Fair prices, friendly service.

30/12/2024: We entered this beautiful ice cream parlor by chance and it was the best surprise in Torino. The ice cream is the best we have had in all of Italy and the zabaione was next level, incredible!!!!!! Also, the girl at the ice cream parlor was lovely, polite and affectionate... you don't find people like that these days. Congratulations! We recommend it 100% and we will return for sure!

15/12/2024: We went to this restaurant on any Tuesday evening with high expectations, but unfortunately the experience was anything but pleasant. I will try to explain everything in a clear and, I hope, constructive way. 1. The initial service: At 6.30pm I was contacted by telephone to confirm the booking (spoiler for the rest of the review: it was enough to say that there was no more room and that the evening could not be managed, rather than let us sit in such poor conditions decent for a restaurant that focuses so much on its image). We arrived promptly at 9pm. After taking our seats, we waited a good 27 minutes (watch in hand, given their supposed precision) before anyone deigned to come and take our order. In the meantime, we had the opportunity to carefully observe the place... and here we come to the next point. 2. The assigned table: It was quite surprising to be escorted to a table that felt like a “reclaimed” one. Table and chairs completely different from the rest of the restaurant (plastic, so to speak), placed next to a closed automatic door, but not completely. Every time the car passed on Via Valperga (and there are quite a few), the door moved, letting in a nice dose of cold air, not to mention the comings and goings to go out to smoke next door. Not exactly the comfort you expect from a restaurant. 3. The change of table: After an hour and 15 minutes (yes, you read that right), we were finally asked to move to another table (two customers had finished dinner). We appreciate the gesture, even if at that point the discomfort had already been abundantly experienced. 4. The food: Let's move on to the kitchen. Despite a decidedly pretentious presentation, the dishes did not live up to the stars and praise that the restaurant flaunts. No memorable flavors, questionable portions, and a general sense of “I want to but I can't” that makes it hard to understand where some of the rave reviews come from. 5. The bill: We conclude on a high note (so to speak) with the bill. No changes to compensate for the inconveniences suffered, other than the application of The Fork's €20 discount, already provided at the time of booking. In the end, we are still asked for 81 euros and 50 cents (not even that euro and 50 was taken away). All things considered, I find this management somewhat ridiculous and disrespectful. In summary, the experience was disappointing. Attention to the customer is fundamental, and we are sorry that on this occasion it was lacking from several points of view. With a little more care something could have been saved, but this way we have nothing left but... not to return. Response to the "owner": I'm sorry you chose this tone and this rudeness in your response. I confirm even more the choice not to return. Ps perhaps you should have focused on constructive criticism (for example the table, the cold of the room which makes digestion difficult, the door that doesn't close), rather than just talking about the time (and yes, I confirm that at 10pm we were hungry. Time when the appetizer arrived, the plates did not come back empty, especially the egg, perhaps the arrogance went to her head).

10/12/2024: Siamo stati in questo ristorante un qualsiasi martedì sera con grandi aspettative, ma purtroppo l’esperienza è stata tutt’altro che piacevole. Cercherò di raccontare il tutto in modo chiaro e, spero, costruttivo. 1. Il servizio iniziale: Siamo arrivati puntuali alle 21. Dopo esserci accomodati, abbiamo aspettato ben 27 minuti (orologio alla mano) prima che qualcuno si degnasse di venire a prendere l’ordinazione. Nel frattempo, abbiamo avuto modo di osservare attentamente il locale… e qui arriviamo al punto successivo. 2. Il tavolo assegnato: È stato piuttosto sorprendente essere accompagnati a un tavolo che sembrava di “recupero”. Tavolo (l’unico con la tovaglia verde, per nascondere il tavolo sotto) e sedie completamente diversi da tutto il resto del ristorante (di plastica, per intenderci), piazzati accanto a una porta automatica chiusa, ma non del tutto. Ad ogni passaggio di macchina su via Valperga (e non sono poche), la porta si muoveva, facendo entrare una bella dose d’aria fredda, senza contare il viavai per uscire a fumare nella porta accanto . Non esattamente il comfort che ci si aspetta da un ristorante. 3. Il cambio di tavolo: Dopo un’ora e 15 minuti (sì, avete letto bene), ci viene finalmente proposto di spostarci a un altro tavolo. Apprezziamo il gesto, anche se a quel punto il disagio era già stato abbondantemente vissuto. 4. Il cibo: Passiamo alla cucina. Pur con una presentazione decisamente pretenziosa, i piatti non sono stati all’altezza delle stelle e delle lodi che il ristorante ostenta. Nessun sapore memorabile, porzioni discutibili, e un generale senso di “vorrei ma non posso” che rende difficile capire da dove derivino certe recensioni entusiaste. 5. Il conto: Concludiamo in bellezza (si fa per dire) con il conto. Nessuna modifica per compensare i disagi subiti, se non l’applicazione dello sconto di 20€ di The Fork, già previsto al momento della prenotazione. Alla fine, ci vengono comunque chiesti 81 euro e 50 centesimi (neanche quell’euro e 50 è stato tolto). Considerato tutto, trovo questa gestione alquanto ridicola e poco rispettosa. In sintesi, l’esperienza è stata deludente. L’attenzione al cliente è fondamentale, e dispiace che in questa occasione sia mancata sotto diversi punti di vista. Con un minimo di cura in più si sarebbe potuto salvare qualcosa, ma così non ci resta altro che… non tornare.

13/12/2024: Un piatto di spaghetti allo scoglio veramente ottimo. Gustoso ed abbondante. Una carta dei vini molto valida. Prezzi non esagerati. Da tornarci.

25/01/2025: La Bombonera prepared my son's birthday cake. Not only was the cake aesthetically beautiful, but above all it was delicious! We received compliments from all those sent, also because children's birthday cakes are usually never memorable. In this case the pastry chef has outdone himself. We made a great impression. I also recommend the pastry shop for breakfast. It's all delicious!

10/01/2025: What can I say... everything is excellent. Top quality and fresh products, Andrea and Mario and the whole team are kind and available to fulfill and meet the needs of customers. I personally always gladly return to them to taste the delicacies they produce.

09/12/2024: If you are looking for a kebab that never disappoints, this is the right place! The service is impeccable, with staff always smiling and ready to satisfy every request. The meat is of superior quality, cooked to perfection and with an incredible flavor that leaves you speechless. The portions are generous, but what is most striking is the freshness of the ingredients: crunchy vegetables, homemade sauces and soft bread that melts in your mouth. Every bite is a unique experience! The atmosphere is welcoming and always lively, perfect for a quick break or an evening with friends. I highly recommend you try it, you won't be disappointed!

01/01/2025: Meraviglioso come sempre, anzi ancor di più per il capodanno! Abbiamo fatto un tuffo nell'opulenza degli anni 80, con un cenone da 15 portate meravigliosamente eseguite, in un ambiente festoso che ti fa tornare bambino. La cucina è molto tradizionale, la famiglia che gestisce questo ristorante è cordialissima, ti fa sentire veramente a casa. 05/01/2025: Ristorante Molto buono, io alloggiavo all'hotel e ti scontano anche il 10%; abbiamo mangiato pizza e tradizionale piemontese, il cibo è buono, preparato al momento e organoletticamente fresco e ben cucinato. Se si vuol fare un appunto è il servizio: ho chiesto che arrivasse tutto assieme, mentre invece alcune pietanze hanno tardato molto e una la hanno dimenticata, non mi piace fermare il cameriere per ricordargli qualcosa. Abbiamo chiesto un piatto senza formaggio per intolleranza e puntualmente è arrivato coperto di Grana: non mi piace nemmeno rimandare indietro la roba. Per il resto perfetto, Prezzo onesto, cibo molto buono, locale pulito e cortese.

29/01/2025: We found this place by accident when skiing and it was a great lunch stop. Fabulous views, good food, reasonable prices, friendly staff and much less crowded than the other restaurants in the Sauze d’Oulx ski area.
