07/03/2026: A little gem nestled in the mountains where silence and peace offer wonderful moments of relaxation. The Bricco staff is friendly and welcoming, always ready to meet their guests' needs and make them feel at home. Excellent homemade cuisine, just like in the trattorias of yesteryear.

10/10/2025: While visiting Balme, we found this delightful chalet-restaurant and decided to make a reservation for dinner. It's a delightful and welcoming place, both for its simple, warm decor and for its friendly owners. I love these places and persistently seek them out because the authenticity of the setting matches the simplicity and deliciousness of the dishes offered. I wasn't wrong this time either, and we'll definitely be back as soon as possible.
The dishes are prepared with love and skill, delicious, and perfect in every way. Piedmontese cuisine at its finest. The house wine is excellent, and the desserts are a treat for the palate.
A final consideration (and a very important one for me) is that there's no annoying television or background music. Just pleasant, polite chatter accompanied by the clatter of plates and cutlery. A rare haven of tranquility these days, one that I hope will last until I have the chance to return.

15/03/2026: I have to say I'm still disappointed and a little angry about my experience at Val Servin. The restaurant is in an incredible location, beneath the Pian de la Mussa promenade, and I was expecting a special dinner. We had just returned from a long walk in the snow and wanted to try local specialties, but instead we were faced with a menu of only pizzas. Yes, you read that right, ONLY PIZZA. I don't understand how a restaurant in such a beautiful and popular location can afford not to offer a proper dinner. We were tired and hungry for something more substantial and typical of the area. It's a shame, because the place is beautiful, but the selection is too limited. If I had known, I would never have gone; in fact, I wanted to leave even while I was there, but by then it was too late and I didn't want to bother other people! It's a shame I didn't check on Google Maps first. If you love pizza and have no other expectations, you can give it a try. Otherwise, look elsewhere.
20/02/2026: I've only been to this restaurant twice, but I had a great time and will definitely return if time permits. Excellent food, friendly staff, and absolutely reasonable prices.

19/08/2024: Locale intimo ed accogliente, quando ci rechiamo in questo luogo ci sentiamo sempre a nostro agio. Personale cordiale e molto disponibile. Cucina tipica piemontese con ottima polenta e porzioni tutt'altro che scarse (come letto in altre recensioni). Consigliato! Ci ritorneremo al più presto !!
13/08/2024: Avevamo magnificato questo agriturismo a dei nostri amici francesi dicendo loro che gli avremmo fatto assaggiare dei piatti tipici, e purtroppo abbiamo fatto solo una bruttissima figura! A cominciare dal piatto di antipasti misti: una fettina di pomodoro con del formaggio molle (filadelfia?) spalmato sopra, 2 (due) acciughine al verde (con tracce di lische) , un cucchiaino di cipolle caramellate e troppo dolci, un flan insipido, 4/5 pezzettini di zucchini in carpione. Poi è arrivata la polenta concia (poco) con la solita salciccia e la solita carne al sivè, che ha causato a qualcuno problemi di digestione per tutto il pomeriggio. Per finire il dessert: minuscolo, e probabilmente non fatto in casa. Il tutto per la "modica" cifra di 25 euro, bevande escluse. Assolutamente vergognoso!

22/07/2025: Siamo stati oggi a pranzo, tutto ottimo, abbiamo preso gli antipasti misti, la polenta concia preparata con farina di mais integrale, la salciccia in umido e il dolce accompagnato poi dal caffè, prezzo onestissimo e porzioni abbondanti, ci ritorneremo.

La polenta concia ed i dolci molto buoni.

25/10/2024: Sono tornato dopo molti anni per un pranzo in famiglia. Abbiamo scelto il menù fisso. Antipasti discreti, buona la polenta concia e la salsiccia in umido, lo spezzatino non mi ha convinto, il cervo proprio no... era praticamente crudo...
Servizio veloce, per il resto si può migliorare.

I ragazzi che servono sono veloci , disponibili e molto gentili
Luogo semplice e ideale per completare una bella giornata in montagna ,dove pranzando abbiamo anche potuto ammirare una marmotta.

16/08/2023: Non so neanche come definirlo... Cibo poco, praticamente gli avanzi del giorno prima, nessuna possibilità di scelta, o così o nulla. E se non vi piace quello che portano sono affari vostri. Dentro in tre a lavorarci, tempo di attesa eterni. Mi fermo qua che è meglio
