08/03/2025: The Osteria Piazzetta dell'Erba offers a delicious culinary experience, with dishes that revisit Umbrian tradition in a modern key. The quality of the ingredients is excellent and the presentation is refined. The atmosphere is welcoming, informal and well-maintained, perfect for a relaxing lunch or dinner. The location, located in the heart of Assisi, a few steps from the main square, the restaurant allows you to completely immerse yourself in the magical atmosphere of the city of San Francesco. After an excellent meal, you can enjoy a walk through the alleys and admire the historical monuments, which makes the experience even more memorable. Go there, because even if the road may be uncomfortable on foot, in the end you will not be disappointed.

02/03/2025: What can I say, I express my opinion after having had the opportunity to try the cuisine several times. First of all, the service, offered by young staff who are always very friendly and polite, helped me to appreciate the place. One also known for the place, unique thanks to its panorama with Mount Vettore and the Castelluccio valley as a backdrop. The food is always very good, albeit with some declines in some of the first courses. Never about ingredients but, more about cooking and seasoning methods, unfortunately not always up to par. Prices on average stand at around 35/40 euros per person for a complete course including house wine. Ultimately: lovely place (not refined) as well as the quality of the ingredients always excellent. The cuisine is a little less so due to the seasonings which are sometimes a little excessive and not always spot on. The grilled dishes are very good.

10/03/2025: We had an amazing experience at Rebeca and Roberto’s place. We stayed there for four nights and also had dinner. The food was amazing, and the prices were very fair. The location is perfect for exploring a more authentic part of Tuscany and the beautiful Umbria region. Our favorite spots were Montepulciano, Pienza, Spello, and San Filippo Terme. There were so many options to choose from, but we are happy we chose Agriturismo Il Favaio.

27/02/2025: Excellent structure near Lake Trasimeno. Service with attention to every detail. Perfect rooms, impeccable cuisine with local products that still retain authentic flavours. Roberto and Rebecca accompany your stay with pleasant interventions that offer interesting chats about the place and its activities.

25/03/2025: We had dinner at this restaurant in Montefalco accompanied by our dear friend Francesca, who recommended it to us. Stone arches and exposed beams wind throughout the room. Particular is the grilled cooking done in the fireplace, positioned to the left of the entrance. Here meat reigns supreme! We had an artichoke parmigiana for two, a Chianina tartare, a plate of cold cuts with buffalo mozzarella, two grilled fillets with two plates of grilled porcini mushrooms, some sautéed chicory presented in a pan, a bottle of Montefalco red and two coffees. Friendly and welcoming staff. Very good meat. We'll be back.

15/02/2025: Scoperto grazie al consiglio di amici di Perugia, è un ristorante fuori dai circuiti turistici umbri. Anche la cucina di distacca dai classici “ salumi tartufo e torta al testo”. Ottime materie prime abilmente cucinate, presentazione classica, ma curata. Servizio attento, senza essere lezioso. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo dei vini in carta. Da ritornare sicuramente

24/03/2025: Having dinner inside a historic building from the Roman era is already enough, I think. Instead, you find yourself eating a super platter of incredible cold cuts and cheeses, especially the lentil flan, then you continue with a plate of strozzapreti with ricotta cream, sausage and truffle. And dessert? Wait though. Because at a certain point the service stops, warned by a call from Campanella and as if by surprise the owner briefly explains the history of the place where you are eating! To finish, you then have a nice Rocciata where inside you find all the flavor of an ancient recipe. Highly recommended. We had dinner for two and we didn't even take a photo. Yes, because we were more attentive to looking at the walls, the ceiling of the place and the dishes than taking the phone from the jacket😂. We really felt at home!

Location: Situated in an enchanting position, the restaurant offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for both a romantic dinner and a relaxing lunch with friends or family. The environment is designed with attention to detail, with a mix of tradition and refinement that makes the meal even more pleasant. Food: The quality of the cuisine is exceptional. The dishes, prepared with the freshest, high-quality ingredients, enhance the authentic flavors of the Umbrian tradition. Each course is a perfect balance between taste and presentation. From homemade first courses to tasty meats, everything is cooked with passion and skill. Service: The owner and staff were extremely friendly and professional. Hospitality is one of the strong points of the place: we felt welcomed and pampered from the first to the last minute. The service was quick, attentive and never intrusive, with excellent recommendations on dishes and wines. An absolutely recommended restaurant for anyone who wants to live an authentic and high-level gastronomic experience in Spoleto! I will definitely go back.

02/12/2024: Op Tripadvisor werd dit restaurantje midden in Panicale goed beoordeeld en zeer aangeraden. We zijn hier 2 keer wezen eten en het was waanzinnig! Wat een mooie familie die met liefde en passie hun vak uitoefenen. Ook hebben we heerlijke wijn en olijfolie mee naar Nederland genomen.

30/03/2025: The appetizers were unique and good (including the quail eggs 😉). We ordered a trio of first courses (gnocchi Norcia, tagliatelle rosse al cinghiale e bianche al truffe), it's hard to decide which is the best! Courteous service, young and helpful guys. Highly recommended!

09/03/2025: We entered this tavern by chance, intrigued by the menu on display and it turned out to be a real gem, especially for the quality and goodness of the dishes. The interior is warm and welcoming, a few tables for an intimate but familiar atmosphere. We opted for the trio of bruschettas (purple cabbage, cabbage and mushrooms), strozzapreti with Sagrantino, bacon and pecorino, pappardelle with Umbrian red sauce, dish of the day - braised cheek, meatballs with artichokes and their "Strange dessert" to finish. The waiter was very kind and apologized for having mistakenly served me a berry mousse, instead of the panna cotta I had ordered, which was still very good. Finally, the bathroom was very clean and spacious. I highly recommend anyone passing through here to eat at this tavern: you won't be disappointed!
