13/08/2025: The restaurant is located in the center of Marsciano, and there's easy parking 150 meters away. Traffic was closed that day, so we ate on the street in a very nice location. The food was excellent. I especially enjoyed the Umbrian focaccia with sausage, pecorino cheese, and chicory. The service was quick and efficient, especially from Sabrina, who is very friendly and approachable. I think the price was fair for the quality: we spent €66 for an appetizer, a first course, a second course, and two glasses of wine. I recommend booking.

10/08/2025: Fantastic food - the cheese marshmallows were particularly amazing, as was the chocolate fondant cake served in a cute wrapped present with a bow. Location with a beautiful view and staff were wonderful and friendly and full of life. Highly recommended .

28/09/2025: We went to this place on Thursday night. We had two excellent first courses. The Umbricelli alla norcina. A beautiful dish to look at and plentiful. Absolutely tasty and well-balanced in flavors 😋. The dessert was also excellent 🍨 we had the Rocciata. A typical Umbrian dessert, truly delicious. The lady who served us was kind and very professional. Highly recommended!

The service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. I was delighted to see these people so knowledgeable. When we return to Umbria, this will definitely be our first chance to savor these specialties.

23/08/2025: Exceptional! Fantastic ambiance, very attentive and friendly staff! The food was incredibly delicious and very special. A bit on the higher end of the price range, but it was worth every cent. We had a wonderful evening with outstanding food, and the wine was also top-notch. Absolutely recommend it! I would definitely make a reservation, but it's no problem at all to make a reservation by phone.

17/09/2025: An elegant restaurant for families and couples' dinners. I celebrated our wedding anniversary here last Saturday with my husband and our groomsmen. The space could use a bit of a refresh; the decor is decidedly cluttered (and the heavy curtains are full of dust). On the other hand, the food is delicious! We were looked after by a staff who welcomed and pampered us from first to last bite, offering tastings whenever we were unsure (the menu offers a truly vast selection of local dishes with fine ingredients, from appetizers to dessert). The skill of the server, hand-slicing the prosciutto at the table without a stand, was uncommon: it was like watching a master play the violin. I really enjoyed the house appetizer, which wasn't on the menu, where we sampled all the chef's dishes (obviously with a less prized truffle than the individual dishes). The tortelli al Sagrantino were a delightful discovery, as was the lamb, cooked to perfection. To round things off, I tried the peaches with Chantilly cream... What can I say, I wasn't expecting such a generous portion! Lastly, the wine list, both regional and international, offers excellent options! We paid, with two bottles of wine, about €75 each, absolutely well spent for the experience. A heartfelt thank you for making the evening memorable!

05/10/2025: This osteria is a must-try if you're in the Trevi area, but as a Perugian, I'd say it's definitely worth the trip from the surrounding area. The restaurant is small, intimate, and welcoming, furnished with care and good taste; the welcome is friendly, with just the right amount of informality that makes you feel immediately at home. All the dishes, from appetizers to desserts, honor the authentic flavors of Umbrian cuisine, thanks in part to the use of excellent local ingredients (for example, we were lucky enough to visit during the black celery season; it was the first time we'd tried it, and we weren't disappointed at all!) An experience definitely worth repeating. I'm giving it 5 stars only because I can't give more!

04/10/2025: A friend who already knew the place took me there for dinner in October. We tried the crostini, the gricia di bosco, the black celery cannelloni, and the parmigiana... we can't say which dish was better!!! The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming. Highly recommended!

We arrived by chance on a Monday after visiting the Sanctuary of Saint Rita in Cascia, and to our surprise, we found a place with plenty of seating (both inside and out). The staff was incredibly welcoming and kind. A varied selection of delicious food, served in generous portions. And I recommend saving room for dessert, which isn't mass-produced but rather homemade. The panna cotta is simply amazing...

12/07/2025: It was a joy to discover this restaurant! We spent two days at a resort in Umbria where the food was truly awful, but luckily Locanda del Busta was just 10 minutes away. Exceptional! We went two nights in a row and will definitely return when we return to Umbria! The food is excellent, simple, and of the highest quality. The owner is truly polite, and all the staff are absolutely top-notch, kind, and helpful. A special thanks to Mrs. Giovanna, who works there with great passion and professionalism.
