16/05/2025: Small place, a bit hidden, a treasure to be discovered. I generally don't like lentils very much, but I tried the ones on the menu as an appetizer (taken by those who were eating with me) and I ordered one for myself: exceptional is an understatement. Very good first courses, I didn't immediately listen to their advice on the wine and I was wrong. I then asked for what they recommended and I found it very good. Very kind and friendly staff, attentive and patient even with us who were a bit hesitant. Definitely a place to return to, if I lived nearby it would definitely be a regular stop. Thank you so much for the really delicious dinner.

05/05/2025: Locale accogliente e servizio cordiale. Il tagliere di salumi e formaggi è di qualità superiore ed estremamente abbondante. Da dividere in due o da gustare come piatto unico. Ottimo il primo con il tartufo nero di Norcia. Buono anche il sagrantino della casa. Prezzo in linea con la qualità dei piatti.

05/05/2025: The road to get there is rough and two-way as it is a very small road to fit 2 cars. Very nice place and the staff is kind and available for any of your needs. We eat very well.

Complimenti ad Elena, Filippo e a tutto lo staff che lavora ogni giorno per mantenere così alto il livello dell’Agriturismo. Nota di merito ulteriore: la qualità del cibo. Dalle torte eccezionali a colazione, al ristorante che offre specialità veramente varie e buonissime.

22/05/2025: We had spotted the place one Sunday a year before and couldn't stop because it was full and we hadn't booked. During a trip to the lake on a random Wednesday we didn't miss it and I must say we had a good eye. Very good appetizer of local cold cuts and cheeses, to follow I threw myself on homemade pici and I must say they were spectacular, and my husband on the grill which he enjoyed very much. To finish in style tozzetti and vin santo😜what can I say ..... We recommend and will definitely be back, there are so many things we still have to try. Compliments also to the lady who welcomed us and kept us with sympathy, thank you.

18/05/2025: Appena fuori le mura di Castiglione abbiamo cenato in questo angolo di cortesia e buon cibo. Accogliente e caldo, pasta fatta in casa e selvaggina tutto ottimo. Vasta scelta di vini... fatevi consigliare da Agnese...perfetta padrona di casa. Grazie ci torneremo!

11/05/2025: I returned to eat at this tractor after a few months. I ordered a tagliatelle with truffle and a scallop with porcini mushrooms. All very good. Well prepared and well seasoned. The friendly staff. The place was pleasant as usual. I had a really good time.

18/03/2025: Staying with Rebecca and Roberto has been a wonderful experience that we are looking forward to repeating. The accommodation is magnificent and located halfway to countless beautiful places. The attention is careful, endearing, warm and very enriching. They made us feel at home! Their breakfasts and dinners are spectacular, with local products of exquisite quality. They even alternated picking the olives with offering us the best. The conversations shared with Rebecca and Roberto spiced up the stay and made us feel as cared for as if we were friends. The work they do is fascinating and full of unique details that make this agriturismo a unique place to want to return to. Our stay there was most incredible! It's a shame we couldn't spend more days... We can't wait to return!

10/03/2025: We had an amazing experience at Rebeca and Roberto’s place. We stayed there for four nights and also had dinner. The food was amazing, and the prices were very fair. The location is perfect for exploring a more authentic part of Tuscany and the beautiful Umbria region. Our favorite spots were Montepulciano, Pienza, Spello, and San Filippo Terme. There were so many options to choose from, but we are happy we chose Agriturismo Il Favaio.

11/05/2025: An excellent dinner in this restaurant, a little hidden but with delicious traditional dishes and great quality of products. Inside you will find a large room furnished with care and also a garden for the warm season. The service is very effective and the staff are very friendly and discreet. The accurate description of the suggested wines was also greatly appreciated. In summary we were very satisfied with the quality of the dishes chosen.

03/05/2025: We had a wonderful dinner at Lillo Tatini, a restaurant located in the small medieval town of Panicale. We stayed in Panicale for a couple of nights, and this restaurant was definitely one of the highlights. It’s a family-owned, Michelin-listed gem. Since the weather was perfect, we got to sit outside. The owner and his daughter greeted us with big smiles. He was an excellent storyteller and kindly took the time to explain the menu in detail. The name of the restaurant, Lillo Tatini, is the owner's nickname, given to him by his grandfather. His wife, who is also the chef, suggested naming the restaurant after it. How adorable is that? We were tempted by the set menu, but the à la carte options were so intriguing that we had to try a variety of different dishes. For starters, we had chicken liver served on top of delicious bread; two different kinds of liver, both incredibly flavorful. There was also a tripe special on the menu for the evening, and we couldn’t resist. It was so tender and tasty. I never knew tripe could be that soft and full of flavor. For pasta, we had homemade ravioli stuffed with quail eggs, sautéed with Cinta Senese bacon and special sheep ricotta from Norcia. Holy, so painfully delicious. We also had Paccheri from Gragnano with sausage, mushrooms, and cream, which was equally excellent. Both pasta dishes were absolutely delicious like an amazing Italian mom had cooked them just for us. For the main course, we had a whole pigeon “alla todina,” a traditional recipe with capers and olives, meant to be eaten with your hands. It was fun and incredibly tasty. We also tried baked Cinta Senese pork ribs with roasted potatoes. These French-influenced dishes were uniquely prepared and beautifully presented. As if we weren’t already full, we finished with a chocolate shortbread tart topped with salted caramel, chocolate ganache, and mango. It was divine. The dessert menu itself was printed using the same tools and techniques from the medieval era. So beautiful and fascinating. To top it all off, the chef came outside to say hello and ask about our experience. She was absolutely lovely, and we fell in love with the entire family. If you’re nearby, make time to visit Panicale and experience this incredible restaurant. You won’t regret it—I highly recommend it.

03/05/2025: We had the €80 per/person 25 year tasting menu and it was absolute perfection. 3 appetizers, 2 pastas, 1 main and a dessert (and a €40 red to compliment). Every dish was better than the last. Some of the best food I have ever had. Bianca's wine recommendation was gorgeous too. Thank you so much to everyone.

07/05/2025: Very very satisfied. Had dinner with 7 friends, greeted with elegance and courtesy. The service is definitely over the top. The white tablecloths were appreciated. The cuisine stands out with a short menu that is nevertheless adequate to satisfy various needs. All the 8 dishes chosen were tasty and well cooked. The wine list is excellent. Highly recommended.

L’atmosfera sana che percepivi, i profumi, l’accoglienza che la nonna riusciva a darti in modo incondizionato. Ecco la descrizione visiva che posso darvi dopo aver pranzato al Monte Frumentario. Una ampia scelta di vini accompagneranno i piatti che vorrete gustare. Consiglio i ravioli ripieni di ricotta serviti con una salsa di pistacchio.
